Great product for a price paid.
I think of it as an upgrade to Albion, useful in certain contexts and styles, but not as detailed as more expensive libraries. The download could do with being better managed -- it took me about 22 hours, and apparently wouldn't pause without having to start over.
Greate realistic sounds! And great features in the update that I've been waiting for a long time
I am owner of a previous version BBC Symphonic orchestra and I decided anyway to get this brand new one, "all in one" product. As per my current usage, it is a very good choice. It is very convenient for me, keyswitch user, to get all articulations in a single instance. As well, the new interface is really easy to use. So far I am very happy with this choice.
This update makes it a little quicker and easier to find appropriate instrument parts. The quality of most of the sampled instrument is excellent. I haven't found a use for some of the newer performance modules, but maybe I will. My issue is and always will be with Kontakt. It's really not very intuitive or easy (instrument and channel routing is nightmarish) and I wish that Spitfire would just bundle this into its own player like some of their other products. Still, it's not their fault that Kontakt is terrible, so five stars for them.
This product is the best I had so far! Albion One is beautiful but this one is outstanding. I love it❤️!
Spitfire Symphony Orchestra 2024 I'm accustomed to the BBC SO Pro library for my usual fare. Only the other day I purchased the Spitfire Symphonic Orchestra 2024. I did some light reading into the affair and noted that there were updates made to this product which had formerly been released. This one appears to be comprehensive as it is an entire orchestra: piano, harp, percussion as well as the 3 other primary choirs. I must say; I love the hall that they were recorded in. An excellent choice. It has a haunting/pouty quality that lends quite well to any symphonic piece that one could muster. An ear pleaser for certain. The samples themselves seem very well done. I have no experience in the prior incarnations of this product to say but in regard to this one they are in a word "beautiful". Very inspiring. In regard to the playability of the product - the kontakt player handles the job quite well and is a joy to use for composition as well as simply play with. I quite enjoy it and see myself pulling many pieces from it quite soon. There was the issue of a minor bug with the microphones which turned out to be a scripting issue. Ben (Spitfire Staff) has always been more than able to put an issue to bed quickly so we can get back to work, or play. Thank you much, Ben. Thank you Spitfire as well as the players for another quality and inspiring product. I appreciate it greatly.
I really appreciate such a beautiful and versatile library as Spitfire Symphony Orchestra. The only problem I have is navigation in Kontakt 7 - too many instruments in this huge library. But this is my personal lack-of-knowledge issue. About sound - it's the best orchestra sound I have played. I own a few Spitfire orchestral libraries (BBC SO Pro, Abbey Road, etc) and some others. This library offers very lyrical sound. If I would use one word to describe the sound, writing experience, and the library itself, I would say "lovely". Strings sound so natural and alive, you can't even tell the difference. When I play it, I feel that this library has a soul. Thank you Spitfire engineers for such a wonderful product, and for very reasonable price!
easy managing products with the Spitefire app, Good upgrade from SSS
As always a perfect product. It took some time before it was affordable for me.
Great sounding library, love the new performance engine
I should have gotten this 10 years ago)
This bundle is truly remarkable overall! However, it currently has numerous bugs. Additionally, the absence of a solo legato trombone is quite frustrating. I'm hopeful that these issues will be resolved shortly, as this bundle has the potential to be the best on the market.
