Lied about items being in stock

Lied about items being in stock, lied about delivery dates then sent incomplete item a week late. I will never recommend this company or use them again.
Update... they continually try to get any negative reviews removed from here as they claim they have no knowledge of you as a customer....avoid avoid avoid

crooks

I recieved a 'semi commerical' treadmill with an electrical fault. The machine was not fit for purpose and failed within a couple of hours of use. I contacted s and l, It has been in my possession 12 days, they refused to replace or even arranged collection of the faulty machine. 6 weeks later it still sits here. Answer the phone you cowards and get your manager/ director to speak to me.

Money Not Refunded

Sent a faulty pool table back about 3 weeks ago after I was told I can't get a replacement due a to fault with that product but it is still for sale on their website! I was promised a full refund within 3 to 5 days. Nothing has come through and I have chased a few times and all I am told is that they are contacting the accounts department! I am now planning to take action against them as they haven't given me the full refund and charge them for the time I'm having to spend trying to get resolved what should have been a simple issue to resolve.

Fast Customer service problem solving

My treadmill arrived with a broken plastic guard, emailed them photos and 1 day later new guard arrived. Couldn't ask for a faster turn around for my problem.

Well done to Lucy for responding and sorting it all out.

i would shop here again :)

Appalling Customer Service - go elsewhere

When something goes wrong, it's imperative that supplier's rectify the situation urgently and with the minimum of further annoyance to the customer. SportandLeisureUK failed on both accounts.
I ordered an exercise bike which turned up damaged. After several attempted phone calls and emails, I eventually got a response. They agreed to collect the broken part and send out a new one. Due to the delay in responding, I'm now already a week behind starting my exercise regime. The new part arrives, but they fail to arrange collection of the old. I now have two large boxes blocking my hallway. On opening the replacement box, I find that that is also broken. Another series of phone calls and emails, eventually contact is made and I ask for a full refund. Again due to timing and inflexibility, another week has gone by. Eventually both boxes are collected (and I can walk through the hall without breathing in), but I have to await for another week for a refund, which only materialises after a phone call from me. Apparently the warehouse had forgotten to mention that the returns had safely been received.

In summary, despite the cheaper prices, in my humble opinion, it's worth paying a little extra to get something that is delivered in one piece from a supplier that has a customer service department that understands the meaning of the name.

unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct.

Steve (of SportandLeisure) If upon listening to the call, you can honestly say that an agent saying to a customer that they are or were busy is helpful customer service or is the est that they could have done under the circurmstance then I have nothing else to add. I guess it is your subjective view. Nevertheless, an objective person will find it is unacceptable for an agent to tell a customer that he is busy. As stated previously, I would not wish you upon my worst enemy and I have already raised this with the person who referred your firm to me.

Very poor! I now have neither money no product.

I ordered a massage table on Tuesday evening via website. According to the information on the website the orders placed before 12 am are delivered at the next working day. So I expected the delivery on Thursday. The money were frozen on my account.

On Wednesday 12 am I received an email saying that I used non-UK Visa card and because of that my order was voided. I called the company to offer an UK card, but they said that because of this delay the table could only be delivered on Friday which is not suitable for me. Thursday was the only possibility that I planned well in advance. I was very disappointed as there was no information on their website about the requirement that the card must be UK registered.

On Thursday I found out that the money were actually taken from my account by this company. So finally I had neither money to buy another table nor table!

I called the company and they said that there somehow should be a refund for my order. I asked for contact details of a manager there and was answered that in any case the situation will remain the same.

Very frustrating!
