Beware. Report Sportsbet to ACMA
Sportsbet were allowing payid payments from my account to a third party betting account.
I contacted them and the bank on numerous occasions.
As I wasn’t the account holder, I couldn’t get any information.
It took 3 months and numerous emails and calls before it stopped.
I’m a member of Betstop.gov joined 12th of May 2024
Sportsbet firstly apologised for accepting deposits 90 in total, $3760 in total as their own terms and conditions don’t allow. They told me to contact my bank and they ensure I’d get reimbursed
Now they say there isn’t any money in the account to refund.
Funnily it’s the 2nd time I’d had payid deposits from my account to Sportsbet
How could they verify an account yet allow 90 transactions from someone using Betstop.

Came in with big expectations. Talked up as fast payouts, great games. The reality? Mixed.

Deposits were easy. Lobby looks fine. Payout arrived, but not fast — not what was promised. Support made me wait; had to nudge them twice. That’s not winning service. We need better. FASTER replies. CLEAR rules. SIMPLE steps.

Games are decent, heaps of choice. But a couple sessions felt jittery. Small lags, random stutters — not a disaster, just annoying. People want smooth; they deserve smooth.

There’s potential here, mate. Big potential. Make payouts consistent. Tighten the tech. Lift the support. Do that and we’ll be talking five stars, no worries. For now? Three. Not terrible, not great — smack in the middle.

The Waiting time is too long that even bet loses its value and we just keep waiting to be answered. No cashout available if you’re winning. Poor site.. avoid sportsbet. Play somewhere else where you can actually play to win.

Very ordinary , have been betting with them quite a while ..was offered a bonus deposit match up $100 ( always within minutes after a deposit) on the 25th July with a time frame up to 11.59pm 27th July .
I deposited an extra amount on the 26th July , and again had to persist to secure an extra bonus match Deposited another amount and they refused .and could tell me why they honoured my first two deposits. I said I was closing my account and they did with what ever was left in my account ...very ordinary ..so if you are closing your account withdraw what you can and punt the rest

I can see I’m not the only one who hates Sportsbet. Been a customer for so long I can’t remember how long. Big on ads but poor on service. Have had Bet With Mates going for a few years now with my son. On Sunday they unilaterally suspended my BWM without explanation. Of course they have the right to do this, as they will tell you. But won’t give reasons when you call and ask and say you will get an email. Of course no email forthcoming. Bet regularly, modest use of promos and over the years we are modestly ahead. I am white hot with anger at this bunch of clowns. Betr are a better proposition and I have just withdrawn all funds from SB and joined Ladbrokes who have mates mode. SB is a dinosaur who waste money on unfunny ads! Good riddance to them!!

They are seeing when people get paid and deposit. Then are offering bonuses to them to put money into their account the day before payday’s . They are making people borrow before payday’s so you lose that and more on payday. Needed to think of something when the government stopped credit cards they thought. Watch and educate yourselves.

They are experts in deceptive techniques to give themselves the edge. Bet returns have gone from 3 per day to 1 to nothing , there wed and sat bet returns on all races have gone !!! They are now the worst app for bets . Advice just use there site for streaming live races it's all there good for while betting on other sites . On the decline for the last 5 years . Bottom dwelling

Every week Sportsbet offers it's usual AFL Footy teaser ... place a same game multi on a Thursday night and, if you lose, you get your money back in BONUS BETS.

Well you'd hope so, but it's not necessarily so.

I've been using the Sportsbet app for years. I'm a AFL tragic who spends $10-$15 a week during the season to have a punt. Keep me invested in the games, and every now and then pinch a winner.

So I am not unfamiliar with the app.

What grits my teeth is when you do the usual process and then there's no BET RETURN as promised.

The GUI (Graphic User Interface - for the uninitiated) ... the tool presented to you on the device you are holding, which you are meant to navigate the Sportsbet maelstrom, is confounding.

Why not just make every Thursday AFL night 'Same Game MULTI' (one only) just paid out.

The GUI and the Sportsbet philosophy of a Sporting Punt, should be addressed in my opinion

Cashed out a bet. SportsBet erroneously cashed out both pending bets. Got $4.76 when the bet then paid out $192 only a minute later. Contacted chat immediately and spoke with someone who couldn't speak English properly and was of no help. I emailed to complain about the error and was told any cash out is final despite the error. SportsBet obviously offer small amounts on cash out like that on bets to prey on punters and capitalise on any errors. Must save them a pretty penny.

Pathetic mob. If you're not losing heaps, they won't give you the time of day. Zero stars. Billion dollar ownership & weak as piss. Do not bet here if you have clue. They prey on weak guys with no idea. I'm a losing account too & won't even answer me on chat

Don't trust sportsbet and don't bet on sportsbet. Sportsbet customer service is terrible. Inefficient and very slow in resolving customer issues. Sometimes the bets recommended to you are traps. Even when you want to bet on a certain event, they will not let you bet during the game. They will find any excuses to ensure that you lose money. This such a unacceptable scam and supported by the Australian government. u should know that every bets company supported by Australian government. They try to take money from the people in legally way.

A player gets injured just when the 2nd quarter starts and a separate game a starter only played 10mins why does another app cancel that bet but sportsbet doesn't or even get a bet return back? Easy answer because sportsbet just cares about themselves im already looking at other apps and I was already warned about this.

Terrible company that only cares for money. They can fix anything and they put it back on you saying it’s your fault or your error. They don’t help fix any problems, quite hopeless the lot of them… the SUPERVISORS are ALL part of the Diddy files..

Wont let you delete a bank account - this means they retain your bank details !!! This should be illegal !!

Sportsbet operate in bad faith. I was new to racing betting and had never heard of All In betting. The words No Refunds were hidden down the bottom. Horse was scratched and no chance for a refund. There has to be a better competitor

Same as the other times and nothing is done ,this site is a waste of time ,im going to the people who issue their license.Maybe we can look at doing a class action .Ive had a good result in bringing another company doing the wrong thing into line .

Absolutely a rip wouldn’t accept a bet on roosters/eels game hit my account double PayPal wouldn’t refund had to approach commbank who supported my claim pending

id give a zero if i could. Horrendous customer services. Support agents do not know how to do their job properly. Will always close the chat on you before you are finished with your query
