Absolutely terrible experience with Sports Direct.
I ordered an item over a month ago, and the delivery was confirmed lost by their own carrier. Despite this, they are refusing to issue a refund, claiming they are still waiting for “information” from the courier. This makes no sense — the parcel is already confirmed lost, and I have no control over their internal communication.
Customers should not be punished because a company cannot sort things out with its delivery partner. Keeping my money for an item I never received is completely unacceptable.
Avoid at all costs — poor customer service, no accountability, and extremely frustrating to deal with.
They are not based in Belgium
The website is sportsdirect.be but my items shipped from the UK. The website promised delivery by 31st March (4 working days) but it's 3rd April and the tracking shows it's just crossed the border to the Netherlands.
Update: I received my parcel on 7th April, no extra duty taxes or anything. So, everything is fine and I'm pleased, I would put 5 stars but the website being Belgium based without clear information that it will be shipped from the UK was more than a bit unnerving for me.

No information on the whereabouts of what I ordered. The tracking says it is still in customs, over a week after it was supposed to be delivered. I wanted to order from Belgium, to avoid customs, but SportsDirect ships from the UK. This was not clear when you order from a website with adress .be.
Worst ever webshop
Worst ever webshop! My order was shipped, did a 3 week tour around Europe, 1 week pause in a warehouse and being returned to sender without noticing me. When I contacted client support they informed me the package was on his way back. After replying with the question why this happened I got the reply from a helpdesk employee ‘not to reply on their mail’ and he/she closed the ticket. Never seen before!

I am very happy with the products and prices on your website. The only two things that are a bit problematic is the chaos in the 'size'-filter (UK shoesiszes, size 'Large' and size 'L' and size 'Groot' (large in Dutch.
I also noticed that the translation into dutch looks a bit google translate. e.g. Crewsocks is translated as "people working on a boat"-socks. But these are minor issues. The 'size'-filter would be a lot more efficient if it would be cleaned up.
12 euros for extra delivery, delay
It's a shame that we paid for an extra delivery option worth 12 euros, as the item was needed for a birthday, and that the item did not make it on the day indicated on the website. While we understand this is the responsibility of the courier as well, eventually it's what was published on sportsdirect website that makes us purchase the extra money for express delivery. I will not be ordering again.

Incompetent and misleading customer service.
I selected the correct delivery option at checkout. When the parcel went missing, customer service immediately blamed me and insisted I had selected the wrong option, despite having no evidence.
Only after repeated contact did they contradict themselves and admit their records did not support what I was originally told.
This was clear gaslighting rather than genuine customer support. No ownership, no accountability, and no urgency to resolve an issue entirely of their making.

SD40000130851568 is my order number for a gift card for Christmas. It has been requested for delivery by email. It has not been delivered. It was ordered 23 rd December with the intention of visiting after Christmas sales. There is no way to get help as the Contact Us is a maze of useless advice articles. I requested a refund and the site declined this saying "Not possible after 5th January". We use Sports direct a lot. Feel totally let down
