They said we would have representation if we were to be sued we are being sued they said 7 to 10 days to be contacted and said don’t worry they will handle everything they have gone over the time and said it’s been sent to the attorney and attorney will not answer what they are going to do they said they notified them to respond and would take 72 hours today they sent another request because the attorney still has not responded we had to file for an extension to comment on our own and we asked if we don’t hear from the attorney before the extension what do we do they just telling us there nothing they can do until the attorney answers sounds like we’re getting the run around anyone else experiencing this anyone have advised Rose Webb

I am only giving 1 star because it won’t allow for 0. This group came looking for us, we were paying our bills on time, but with interest we weren’t making any headway. Spring Legal made it sound glorious, we’d pay off our unsecured debt and drop interest. DO NOT DO IT!!! Your credit will be ruined, you WILL be sued and possibly garnished. After paying over $13,000 NOTHING has been paid off, we’ve been sued twice. We severed our ties with Spring Legal and found a good bankruptcy attorney, we were left with NO other choice. Call your creditors, they are not the devil, they will work with you. The devil is the one making promises that are never kept. We will not do business with this group again, we would sue them but it’s honestly not worth the time or energy, As long as this review reaches at least 1 person, so they aren’t scammed in this same manner, that’s all I care about. Our nightmare is over now, our creditors are being paid and no one can sue or garnish us. GTH Spring Legal!

They let 2 to of my accounts go into litigation and then let them go to Default Judgment. Then, they told me they have no legal obligation to defend the lawsuits and I had to come up with 80% of what is currently owed, which is more than I initially owed, before late fees and interest, to get me out of default judgment. If I had $13,000 I would not have needed their program. Their lack of communication and helpfulness is astounding given their sales pitch for the program. Needless to say they made my situation significantly worse.

I started with spring Legal Group last October 2021, after 10 months and withdrawing from my bank account more than $ 27,000, only one account has been settled for 2% in total only 9% of the total balance has been resolved.
The last account settled was more than 2 months ago, I made the monthly payment on time, but did receive the promised services.
I would like to cancel this service to stop the frustration

I had to change my bank account and I ended up talking to somebody from Spring twice and Global once today before finding out why my draft hadn't been taken out of my account. I found out today (7/29) that all I needed to do was send a PIECE OF PAPER back to Global to authorize the payment. I changed my bank account on the 7th of July. I hate working with this company because even if I get the piece of paper back to them by email and fax, it will take several days to get everything in the system and I will default on my account. I have never missed a payment until now and they are sending me nasty emails and phone calls asking why the payments aren't being made. I have received three phone calls this week and got an email today asking why things aren't done. I didn't know anything needed to be done. TAKE CARE OF YOUR DEBT BY USING OTHER MEANS. DO NOT WORK WITH SPRING.

I had started and agreed with this firm. After 1+ years, my credit has totally ruined and still not clear my debt. So slow and keep in pain. I thought they will pay whole then I pay every month. That’s not, they took their profit first and very slow processing. I don’t even know if they are working the case

I would suggest everyone read the contract and then decide carefully if this program is really helping you or fooling you. They deduct much more money from you in the form of fees than you may think you are saving.I opted out of program when I saw that they keep aksing us to add funds to reach reasonable amount to negotiate but the intent is to pay all the fees that they need from us .
Fees are pretty high and instead of deducting major portion of that at the time of settlement , they deduct every month large portion of our money .
You may feel they are helping us but NO , they are making money from our installlments without doing anything until charge-off happens.
You lose a lot of money in the form of fees, you get your credit score down for a long duration and nothing happens in return.
When they show you simulator as how you will save , high fees are not included which would make you rethink the decision.
My recommendation , not to go with them unless you are fine to pay high fees, bad credit score and long wait for settlement to happen.

When I opted out of the contract realizing the blunder I did, they refunded just 600$ out of my 2500$ saying everything is deducted as fees. and they did nothing during this period. So, I paid them for sitting like ducks .

One of the most unprofessional worst Services you can possibly pick they dropped the ball didn't show up for a court hearing ended up with a $10,000 judgment against me open my payments for 6:27 a month 9 months later so I need to double my payments which was more than my regular monthly payments I had before alluring credibly hiring smart illegal

So far. I can't say that I've been help by Spring Legal Group as they sold me they would. Out of all the accounts I have, they solved only 1 in about 2 years that I faithfully been paying them, now I've been garnished and all they want from me is give them more money, then I received another garnishment and I just been told the same thing when in reality they didn't do what they suppose to do from the beginning even when I gave them everything they requested on time to avoid all of these and nobody didn't even call me back. As a matter of fact, I was told they need 2-3 business days to return my call and it's been 5 days already and when I called them the person is not available at the moment and they will return my call AGAIN.
It's the same thing everytime and in the meantime I've been garnished, none of my debts have been settled and still paying Spring Legal Group monthly.
This is a scam!!!

Cancel if your already using them before you get put into garnishment like my husband and I. There was not even an apology, nothing. Just a "well there's nothing we can do about it now." Cancel get the small amount of a refund and put that towards your debt payoff. Settle your debt yourself. It took me one day to negotiate the rest of my debt. Worst decision was to go with them. Best decision to end my relationship with them. They don't care about you at all.

Cancelled this scam service in December. Was promised my escrow account money back and that my bank account withdrawals would Stop. Never received my escrow funds (which per the agreement I signed I should be entitled to) and NOW this scam company takes withdrawals from my bank every other month instead of monthly (seems to hope I won’t notice they’re still stealing from me)!!!

Can't give zero stars. RUN RUN RUN RUN. This company is a scam. Called to see how much I needed to get a loan to rectify my situation. They gave me a quote 6K over the initial amount. When I inquired why no concrete answers. When I asked what would have happened at the end of my payments I was told that another department would have called to discuss further payments. I canceled my agreement that day. I received documents saying they no longer represent me but a month later they still withdrew my monthly payment. I called and all I heard was a apology and they will submit the paperwork to refund my account. They said I should receive it in 7 to 10 days. Explained I canceled my agreement 20 days ago and I want my account balance today. Was told they can't do that. Asked to speak to their supervisor, get placed on hold, and was told they can't speak with me. Asked to get transferred to accounting was told NO. SCAMMERS

As of now, I am not satisfied at all. I have been paying since September of last year and nothing have been negotiated. There is no communication nor update. Meanwhile my score just keeps falling and credit report completely ruined. Everytime I call they told me they have not started negotiations yet. I was hoping they would have started paying back my creditors by now and I could start working on rebuilding my credit. All these negative reviews, I can totally relate to and it is making me nervous.

EDITED to respond to Spring Legal. Unfortunately base on the guidelines for reviewers and my comfort level, I am not comfortable revealing any of the requested information here. However, if you can provide me with an email address or phone number where I can speak to someone in regards to this, I would be more than happy to reach out. Not just the general customer service number because every time I call them I am just being told that you have not started negotiating with my creditors and they don't know when that will happen. Which is why I am here on the first place.

This is a total scam. Spring legal is NOT up front about what happens when legal action is taken on behalf of creditors through debt negotiation (interesting, considering they are a law firm). It makes sense that when you stop paying your bills, creditors are going to come after you. Spring Legal tells you they will represent you and take care of you, the problem is, they are not even going to try communicating an agreed upon amount with creditors until the end of your contract. That's because they take so much in fees up front that your account balance sits at practically zero funds until the last year of your contract. Yes, literally. We are one year in and are being told they will have enough funds to negotiate in 3 years. This means you risk creditors putting a lien on your property or pushing in other ways. Spring Legal will then encourage you to pay more each month, like an absurd extra amount that you can't afford, in hopes of escalating the process. They've asked us to pay an extra $1200 a month so they may be able to negotiate in a year. If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't have needed their "resources" to begin with. It's a super super shady situation because in the time I'm paying them, I would have been better off paying creditors minimum payments. At least I'd have my credit. I'm coming to believe more people are being made aware of how they operate.
They keep referring me back to the contract that I did indeed sign. I was an idiot and should have read every single fine print. Instead, I trusted the phone consultation that assured me I would be in great hands. Terrible.

Unfortunately the pandemic left me and my wife unable to keep up with our bills. We relied on our credit cards to get us through and got to a point where we felt there was no way out. Up to this point all of our bills had been paid 100% on time. We reached out to Springlegal in April of 2021 and felt we had a solution. Enrolling 100K in debt we were skeptical but hopeful. We received a summons for 3 of our accounts the first week of January 2022. We immediately uploaded the legal documents and waited for the representation that we were promised. Our first date to respond is tomorrow, March 10th. After several calls and follow up emails, we have no representation. A lawyer has not been assigned to us and what we have essentially been told is that we would, on our own, file a continuance to allow more time for an attorney to be assigned. There has been zero guidance from the people that have handled the calls other than to add more money to our account. We have been drafted $703 dollars for the last 21 pay periods for a total of over $14k. The amount of settled debt is $3,704. I understand that there's fees, however when a judgment from a civil court can lead to wage garnishments AND our legal representation hasn't stepped up...there is a problem. I'm not confident we made the right choice and will have to likely face consequences, including an increase to our bi-weekly drafts to continue in the program. Not what we were expecting.

3/29/23: Wanted to give an update from my post last year. I re-changed my review from a 5 to a 1 start. It has been over a year and I now had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. After my initial post not only on this website but on several of their websites, they had contacted me and "escalated" the issue. I was receiving communication from them there on and updates on accounts. Come October 2022 one of the accounts went into litigation. Spring legal attorney reached out to me and because I didn’t give them an additional amount that they wanted, they sat on that account and did nothing. Fast forward to January 2023 I agreed to give additional funds but by then it was too late, the creditors had put an involuntary lien on my house. Now March I have received a wage garnishment because they (Spring legal) did nothing. I started this program in April 2021, almost 2 years and only settled 2 very small accounts, made payment arrangements for two others and two (including the wage garnishment) are in litigation. I have called them several times to cancel my account and contract and cancel future payments to all creditors but they have yet to do so. I was to receive a cancellation email within 72 hours of cancellation but it has now been 7 days and no email.
Almost $27,000 later and nothing has been done but paid off two accounts at a settlement amount of less than $1000 each. I could have paid all my debt off with that $27K. Stay away from this company. my credit went to crap and they did nothing but take all my money and Im sure the balance I have with them now in the escrow account will not be refunded. Just take your losses and figure out a different way of settling your debt. This is not worth it.

Hi I also became a member of Spring legal group back in April of 2021 and every time I log into my account I dont see a change. I've seen that there was three "Offer under "review but when I click to get more info, one says "offer approved" on August 23, 2021, another one says "offer approved" on Nov 4, 2021 and the third one says "offer under review" but has no date or any kind of detail. I have not received a call for a status on my account or an email or anything. My bank account is being withdrawn monthly and have yet seen any progress. How long does it take after it says "offer approved" that the collection is paid. Not very satisfied with this company as of yet.

Hi I became a member of spring legal group sometime in august. So far every time I log into my portable I see no progress. Most of my debts have already gone to collections. I’m afraid these collectors might come after me. I’ve been patience all this time And I’m starting to think the worst is going to happen. Can you give me some fee back or advice. Thank you. Ruben.

I wrote a review on 12/12/2021. I still have not received a refund of my money that was held in an account to be used for settling my debt. I have received “check is in the mail” and “automatic deposit has been arranged” promises. I disenrolled on 11/16. My debt was settled by my financial adviser within 2-3 weeks. Nothing got accomplished in the twelve months that I was enrolled. I just want my money back. I don’t know what my “fees” were used for, but the $5000 wasn’t used for representation or communication.

When I was contacted by Spring Legal Group, I was told don't worry we will negotiate reduction and elimination of my debts. Due to Covid, we lost almost 90% of our income. 1 year later only two accounts have been settled and I was just served and being sued by the Bank that prior to working with Spring Legal Group was in good standing. I do NOT suggest anyone deal with this company for debt settlement
