Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the high prices, noting that many items were significantly more expensive compared to other stores, often feeling that pricing was misleading. TRAVIS HAGADORN - OUTSTANDING SERVICE

I had an incredible experience at Sprouts off Barbara Jordan Blvd in Austin thanks to Travis Hagadorn in the Meat Department. From the moment I inquired about a sale/promotion on an item, he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Travis went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for, offering great recommendations and even sharing some cooking tips for the meat that I purchased. The quality of the meat was top-notch and it’s clear that he takes pride in his work. I really appreciated his patience and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this store to friends and family! Thank you Travis, for such outstanding service.

Spoiled and Rotten products

I used to shop at various sprouts in Austin and then Atlanta. Yesterday, there were live bugs in my rice cakes. I contacted the manufacturer and Sprouts.... and I want to let everyone else know as well. If you have a problem, they can't fix it if you don't complain. About 2 yrs ago, I started getting spoiled meat when I got home and opened the package. One time, ok (though I've never had that in 40 years of shopping for groceries). 3 times? No. Spoiled yogurt and cheese with mold on the side away from the packaging. I buy my produce elsewhere because it's very expensive here.
I don't know what's going on, but this was the final straw.

SYSTEMIC INCOMPETENCE AND APATHY…

SYSTEMIC INCOMPETENCE AND APATHY throughout the entire company. Their website is setup to commit consumer fraud, hold peoples' money, waste time and resources, and fraudulently advertises themselves as "Sprouts" when it's actually Instacart who is falsely stating that Sprouts can get a product and take your money for it. ALL of the employess, including "management" and "customer service" are rude and ignorant. Point of Sale systems have been in place since the 1980's, and Sprouts doesn't even have a POS system. A consumer places an order on the Sprouts site, but it's actually Instacart. There is no indication of Instacart on the Sprouts site, in the emails confirming the order, or showing up in your bank account. It's ALL Sprouts. The consumer sets up a date for pick up of the item that they will never get. Come the date of pickup, Sprout's email and order status still indicates that the order has been placed, it's being fulfilled, and it's good to go. Call Sprouts to see if the order is there, and you get a big run around. They run their employees around to see if the order is there only to tell you it's not. In the mean time, Sprouts is holding your money in a Pending status at your bank and only Instacart can release it. From the store management level to corporate customer service, these people are in a massive state of denial about what they are doing. Placing an order through Sprouts or Instacart is like dealing with the Land of Misfit Toys...they are all living in an abyss and could give a rip whether orders get fulfilled so long as they get their paychecks to make sure their rent gets paid.

I used to love Sprouts

I used to love this store. Lately the produce is less attractive and very expensive. Also, when my groceries were being bagged last time, someone told the person their break would be delayed. They grabbed my egg carton angrily and when I got home I found two crushed and 3 cracked eggs. I’m done with Sprouts.

What a waste of time and effort

What a waste of time and effort! This was at one time in the past(before the pandemic)a good place for fresh food at a fair price. Now its' anything but that! Especially the seafood department has hit bottom. They run an ad for a products they know they cannot supply, and will try to sub an inferior product, despite being told NO SUBS! Sprouts is off of my GPS unless there is a change in management. Costco...... here I come.

First and last time I will spend my…

First and last time I will spend my money in this store. Went on 06/12/24 @ 6:00 pm I needed groats or whole oats, I usually get them at Whole Foods. I walked in the store looked around in the bulk item section for about 7 minutes then walked up to the register 2 times hoping an employee (older man at register on the far right if facing the entrance and younger black woman to the left) would acknowledge me and assist (after all it is their job!) I was completely ignored! I walked around the store for another 5 minutes looking for an employee all the while listening to music which was, in my opinion to loud for a business! I finally managed to locate an employee I explained to her what I needed she seemed as informed regarding their products as I was, she was unable to locate the product so I settled for steel cut oats. I went to the register where the older man was he was very confused and distracted while assisting the customer in front of me. I left that aisle and went to the register where the young black woman was, she did not acknowledge me with a greeting and did not put my item in a bag, and did not say have a nice day in other words get your crap and leave! I was not rude, I did not say anything to anyone that would illicit these type of responses! Hey manager/owner! do you want to make money? do you want to attract new customers? start hiring people that actually care about working there! what I saw was a bunch of selfish freeloaders who try their best to waste 8 hours and leave!

I was a big fan and a frequent shopper although!

I was a big fan and a frequent shopper at Sprouts for many years. I always felt in the past their prices were very competitive and good quality products. Things have drastically changed over the past 2 years at Sprouts with prices skyrocketing and less and less items on sale. As much as I used to like the store I can no longer afford shopping there. Other markets are now much more competitive in pricing which has forced me to take my business elsewhere. I'm not sure if it's due to a change in management at the upper level although Sprouts should take a look seeing if the best decisions have been made in keeping them competitive in their market.

I used to love shopping at Sprouts

I used to love shopping at Sprouts. Since inflation started and Sprouts raised prices more than any other store...I can no longer afford regular trips and only shop when items are on sale. BUT, every time I order online or go to the store when I can get a ride, they don't have about 50 percent of what they advertise. Lately, food has been mismarked, misrepresented or poor quality at over the top prices. I have had to throw away items there were rotted, or had ingredients that caused allergic reactions and etc. I can't afford to throw away money. I live on Social Security. This last order was the worst and has convinced me that it is not worth shopping there anymore. Their customer service is also lacking. They promised a refund when THEIR shopper gave me rotten tomatoes...I followed up three times and never got the refund. This last time I ordered a beet salad and got something with about tons of cranberries, some broccoli slaw or some such thing, a tan dressing (tons of it) that burned my mouth and, although, it was marked as a beet salad, clearly it was not! Their deli couldn't even tell me what kind of salad it was. It was predressed and wilting as if it had been made up for someone to eat and then put on the shelf instead. I finally had to ask for a manager as the deli person couldn't understand what I was trying to tell them. I did get a refund from Instacart on that item and had to throw it away. I don't have a car, I can't replace food easily that I don't get in a delivery order or that I have to throw away. Sprouts made NO effort to make this right although they did agree to check the shelf for other mislabeled items. I have allergies and could have had a far worse allergic reaction then just my mouth burning when I tasted the salad before I threw it away.

Sprouts - The Woke Grocery Store!

Sprouts is a fraud wrapped in a GIANT hypocrisy!

#1 - They claim - and advertise - to have super fresh produce. While they might have fresher produce than say, Wal-Mart, they cover this by "spraying" their produce with a constant spritzing of water.
Look online about how many dishonest grocery stores make millions in water weight by "spraying" their stuff with water, which makes the item(s) you might buy heavier.
#2 - If you still shop at Sprouts why are you "giving your change" to "The Sprouts Foundation?"Why give them the tax write-off? This company made a profit of 5 BILLION Dollars last year! Does anyone think they need your change to further THEIR tax donations? Take the change, put it in a jar, and do something with it for yourself! Do you know exactly what they are doing with your change?
#3 - The "survey" at the bottom of your receipt where you can win a 500.00 Gift Card. Don't fall for this one either! There is no "contest" No winner! It's a scam to get your information!

Every item you can get at Sprouts, you can get much cheaper at any other Store.

Many prices are less money at other stores

I remember almost 2 years ago I was told by an employee that Sprouts was looking to move their prices to Whole Food's pricing. Well, their prices are even higher now. I can buy many of the same products from other supermarkets or stores. I priced out 5 items and they were the highest. Silk soy milk, Whole Food $4.99, Safeway $4.99 and Sprouts on sale at $5.99, off sale price over $6.00. Things like their bell peppers are so small and much higher in price. Do a little shopping and save money. I don't shop there anymore. I also noticed on Facebook they only have 3 stars.

I’m a regular at Sprouts

I’m a regular at Sprouts, they are 20 minutes away from where I live but I take the drive because of their products. I usually spend $250-300 in groceries, however it’s time to say goodbye to this supermarket I’m going to switch to Earthfare. NEVER use their online delivery service it goes through another useless outlet Instacart. These people are very quick to wipe their hands of their errors and quick to blame the party that they use for their shoppers, they take no responsibility and offer no apology or courtesy compensation. I will buy my groceries elsewhere there are plenty of organic markets in the sea!!!

I will NEVER shop in this sprouts again

I have visited Sprouts about four times. I always feel out of place. Twice I had customers look at me as if I was an alien. Twice I was treated as if I was about to steal. Attendants came to me to ask what I was looking for, stood on the aisle with me, and hand-picked products for me. I will not visit the store again. They make sure to send a black man...and it's always the same one. Every race has bad people, but blacks are always treated differently especially if they don't dress, look, act the part of being rich and educated.

Very impressed with an employee named Christine working the store in Visalia, California. She is very pleasant, helpful and made me laugh. Very nice lady to talk to and also very knowledgeable in her job. She did not hesitate to help me when I needed a price refunded and recanned the original price. Thank you Christine. Employees like you are the reason customers like me will return to your store.

Corporate greed!

It’s clear as day Sprouts Farmers Market is price gouging their customers. Prices keep going up while quality of their products goes down. Customer service is mediocre at best. I understand Sprouts is known for paying the lowest wages. Now they have self-checkout lines and ask for donations during checkout even though they’re ripping off their customers with their overpriced items. What a joke this corrupt company has become. I’m encouraging everyone I know not to shop here.
