I love this product
I love this product! Very easy with minimal cleanup. Nutritious & I know exactly what is in it. I love that I don't have to handle raw food and I have no food waste. I am not a heavy eater so this is perfect for me. I can't wait to try the other options. I have tried the salmon and broccoli spinach both were wonderful. I'm so happy I found this. Not the flavor I expected
Package arrived warm, but customer service assured me it was still consumable. I tried the first meal, and it was ok, but overall the beef tasted like a tamale, as if it were mostly beef flavored corn meal. The sweet potatoes also were corn meal flavored. The broccoli/spinach was the only thing that had a real flavor as I'd imagine it to taste. Gonna try the chicken next. See how that goes.

Dear Gene, we don't use any corn in any of the squares. Only natural spices in a very small proportion like, Rosemary, Parsley and Basil and natural flavors like Lemon, Lime, Ginger, Carrot, Celery and Orange. We have different warm up methods, We really do not recommend using only the microwave, but for example the electric grill or pan with a little olive oil to enhance the flavor and texture. We have also created a recipe book with delicious and quick recipes you can use to prepare your squares, like a bowl and fries. We assure you will have a better experience.

Sorry to say I did not like your food. I will eat what I ordered but won't repeat the process. Just too weird for me. The food was too sticky and just tasted odd. I think you need to do a bit more research and development on the taste factor + the texture. Just my own opine, of course! I can't account for anyone else's so I wish you the best in your endeavor! Who knows? You may be the food of the future!

Real food, tasted good.
The food was real food, just ground up & formed into squares. It tastes fine but for some, the texture might be a little off-putting. For example, the rice was just a gelatinous mass. Little pricey for every day consumption but, does work well for a work meal. It also works well for special diets or weight loss since the portions are controlled.

Think that with SQUAREAT you can fully customize your diet and if your plans change at the last minute you don't need to worry about waste because our squares last up to two weeks in a regular fridge with no additives.

I really enjoy the selection that I got of the basmati rice, quinoa, sweet box, vegan cheese and burger. It was a fun way to control snacking and calorie intake.

Shipping Issues but product is great!
By the time the product gets to me, it is soaked because the cooling packs used are totally melted and mostly punctured. I appreciate that I got a replacement to the first order, but I must say that I would rather get them frozen than only partially cooled. I think using dry ice with frozen products would be the best way to ensure food safety when shipping takes 2-3 days. I do like the product and it fits my lifestyle needs quite well. If you can optimize your shipping, I would feel much safer and better about continuing to order them.
