Great service and an excellent product
Good little locking system for offering…
Good little locking system for offering stops. Why not make it longer, eg 80 - 100cm for longer reach and could be carried around the waist.
Excellent product
I needed a secure lock for my bike

I was hugely impressed with this…
I was hugely impressed with this company. I had a sturdy combination lock bought many years ago but never used. A couple of weeks ago I was in need of a decent lock for our garden gate & remembered I had this one. Sadly I could not get it to open, but after emailing the company, they said to send it back to them with details of what code I wanted it set to. The lock was then sent back by return post, working beautifully and at NO CHARGE …. When I queried this, I was told it was sorted under their ten year guarantee !
So thank you Squires - most grateful and thankful for your speedy & efficient service …. Naomi K

Excellent security solution.
My security problem was easily resolved by consulting the range of products and delivery was very speedy. Good website to navigate.
Easy to use, user friendly
Easy to use, user friendly, website. I ordered the wrong size lock by mistake but they were happy to help me replace it with the correct one. Friendly, helpful staff :)
High quality products, 100% recommend!
Traditional Customer Service as it should be!
Combination gate bolt jammed after approx 6 years of use. Regularly lubricated. Squire offer a 10 year manufacturing warranty, so contacted Trish by phone in customer services. Couldn't have been more helpful, & asked me to return the defective item. Andrew Rawling (QHSE manager) checked the item & found part of the mechanism had failed. No quibble regarding warranty, & a replacement item was immediately sent out, together with a refund on my postal charges.
An example to others, & a refreshing pleasure to deal with a traditional 5☆ British company who put the customer first.

Legendary customer service
Legendary customer service.
We've been using Squire for over 20 years, and there's a good reason: very solid locks, sensible pricing, and backed up by excellent customer service. You do get what you pay for.
Great Service
After two years i had a problem with my lock just came apart i noticed it had a 10 year guarantee on it, Tool station advised me to get in touch with Squire Locks, i did dealing with Anne Marie, the information and advice she gave me was first class, sending it back with copy invoice was no big deal, i have received a new lock and a cheque for postage.
That's what i call very professional and spot on service.
Many thanks
Padlocks seize up.
I have had Squire padlocks on my gates in my field and one on my garden shed. All have locked up. The one on the garden shed failed within 8 days.
They look nice and are easy to set up but are not fit for purpose.

Superb locks and even better service
Thank you very much
My lock failed after 8 days - no responsibility accepted.
Purchased a CP40 weathershield padlock in store at B&Q for the shutter control box of my premises (so, not actual access to the premises). Lock failed after just 8 days and had to be cut off by an out of hours locksmith to gain access at a cost of £114. Squires have refused to reimburse the costs, stating that under the terms and conditions on their website, this is not covered. They clearly see it as reasonable for a retail, in-store customer to go online and read their company website before purchasing. They also clearly see it as reasonable for one of their locks to fail after 8 days. Rather than taking the ethical action of the independent company they claim to be, they have decided to hide behind small print like a typical large company. They have even claimed that the lock is only suitable for use in situations where there would be no point in buying a weatherproof lock, implying it was my fault for using the wrong type of lock (note to Squires, if you say the lock is suitable for a tool box - which will contain expensive tools - it is more than suitable for a box containing a button to raise a shutter!). Poor reaction
