We had the most amazing, exciting holiday thanks to srprs.me! The booking system was so easy to use and we were so impressed with the communication via email whenever we had a question. Everything was answered quickly and it all felt very personal and welcoming.

The destination chosen for us was completely unexpected and never a thought we’d had before. The airport was fairly far out from the city centre but the hotel was really nice and in a good location.

We loved the trip so much that we started planning our next one during our final dinner on holiday. I’ve recommended srprs.me to everyone at work and even to people we met on a walking tour during our holiday. Can’t wait for our next adventure!

It was all such an exciting experience. From booking to the countdown weather forecast to the big reveal! Just thrilling.

Destination wasn't anywhere we'd have picked ourselves, but that was the point. Exploring somewhere nobody we knew had really heard of. Our accommodation was also fantastic: really central, high quality and very welcoming.

Loved the whole thing. Can't wait to book the next one.

When I revealed my destination I was quite disappointed, it was the opposite to what I would have chosen. However I am so glad that it was, I absolutely loved the location and would not have ever considered travelling to this city had it not been a surprise. It broadened my horizons and provided me with the most excitment I've had since I was a child. 100% recommend this and can't wait to book another trip 😁

I decided to book a srprs.me trip with my sister when we couldn't decide/didn't mind on our holiday destination and we had a blast!

It was a little pricey considering the end destination (eastern Europe) but we didn't mind paying the extra cash for the amazing, personable service from the Srprs.me staff! Well deserved

Unfortunately our flight was a bit rowdy but that's what you get with old Ryan Air on the way to Warsaw... Stag do central!

We had a few issues with roommates in our hostel but the hostel staff were amazing and sorted us out into a new room as soon as we asked, so a well sourced, kind hostel by Srprs.me.

Definitely worth it for the build up, especially the black envelopes and hand written notes!

I have had 2 amazing trips so far to destinations not on the top of my list, however enjoyable!
Both times I have met amazing people, seen lovely sights and come out the better for it!
Of course there were little snags like getting out of the airport to the hostel or delayed flights, but these are things any traveller would face and you take in your stride.
Also the customer service is absolutely superb, with the reminders, emails, post cards and even Christmas cards last season. All greatly touching gestures I love and appreciate! I just wish they still sent out the metal coins with each booking, would have loved a little collection of different coloured or textured key chain coins to represent each holiday.

So for an adventure to remember, book with srprs.me! I love it!

Fantastic! Srprs.me truly knows how to create experiences. I had a great time in Dublin, an amazing hostel and loved the fact that everything was made so personal - even the documents and scratchcard always had some handwritten details. How amazig is that?
The only problem for us were the train connection to the airport, but that was due to the holidays; usually trains would have had better times.
However, It was hilarious how everyone at the airport knew where we were going, but we still did not, since we wanted to sleep behind the security check without reading our boarding pass. So everyone scanned and checked them for us and neatly folded the paper again, so nothing would leak.FUN!

Well organized and fun. I think we would have got it for the same price though if we had booked ourselves, so its not a great economic choice. The hotel was in a good location and included a good breakfast. The details were sent out in plenty of time, and it was fun to have a surprise. And if you hate surprises you can always peek inside the envelope before the day....though if you do that there doesn't seem much point in booking a srprs me break!

Absolutely fabulous, start to finish! Such nice, helpful people. Great attention to detail. A beautiful city break with a nice hotel and zero stress. An impressive achievement with one traveller 33 weeks pregnant! Would recommend to anyone and will certainly be booking again. Thank you!!

I convinced my 58 year old mum to come with me on a Srprs.me holiday. I had only seen one person use the company before but was so curious, I just decided to book a short 3 day bank holiday trip to see what happened.

I couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience. My only critisism is that the weather forecast email could be made a bit clearer as I only realised a couple of days after receiving the email that it had the link I needed.
I used the live chat feature of the website a few days before we were due to leave as the spontaneity was freaking me out slightly by then! The person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and my questions were answered quickly and efficiently. In fact, all email correspondence we had with Srprs.me was friendly and helpful.

We were so surprised by our destination as it wasn't somewhere either of us had ever considered. We also got the added lovely surprise that breakfast was going to be provided which was great! Our hotel was central, clean with friendly staff and we were easily able to walk to all the major points of interest in the city.

We had such a fantastic time and I cannot wait to use this company again to see where else it takes me in the world! Next time I really want to surprise a friend!

Excellent communication beforehand, felt like we were in safe hands. Might suggest that an email issues when weather forecast is available and a link as we found it hard to find.

The big reveal in the airport was great fun. It was a location neither I nor my friend had visited so that was great. Such a lovely location as well!

Accommodation was in a hostel with a private room and had a perfect location meaning we could walk everywhere. One issue was the large number of French teenagers staying at the same time, but not much to be done about that!!! Also when we arrived the hostel thought we were going to pay but this was sorted by the time we left, think it must have been that srprs.me hadn't transferred the money to them when we arrived.

This was one of the most relaxing and least stressful holidays I've ever had. There was no worrying beforehand and also no rushing around making sure we "saw everything." Not knowing the destination in advance meant we explored the city more, made spontaneous decisions and generally had a great time. Have been recommending to everyone I know!!!

Me and my partner went for a city break in April. We selected a Med destination. The hotel we were given was a lot nicer than we expected, and we had a good break and liked the air of mystery. They go the extra mile sending reminders and even a postcard when we got back to say they hoped we had a nice trip.

However, unfortunately the air of mystery over the destination wasn't that much! A few of my friends have also done srps.me and we have all (at separate times of year and from 2 different airports) ended up in the same destination! Also, when I was looking for reviews for the company, a lot of people had ended up in the same place as well. I know the company is fairly limited by times and locations they can send people for the price, but there were lots of flights leaving at the same time as our which would have fit the bill for what we'd selected. Worth bearing in mind if you're thinking of doing it that you can exclude a couple of places when booking, so for a true surprise if you've read a lot of reviews, maybe do that!

We also had a couple of small issues with the website- entering the scratch off code didn't work on my phone, but did on my partners. Same issue with getting weather updates in advance. It's really clear how to get in touch with them though, so this didn't cause any problems.

I would completely recommend srprs.me to anyone
I was very apprehensive towards giving up control of my holiday but I had a most excellent trip!
The hostel was clean, quiet, centrally located and the staff were lovely
The only issue I had was upon checking in, they tried to have me pay but it was a mix up and they had payment details to use so it was all sorted very quickly

I was instantly drawn to the srprs.me concept, and found booking the holiday smooth and easy. There were a couple of technical glitches with trying to provide our passport details (the company's website wasn't working after a re-vamp; then when it was restored it still wouldn't save my details, and it only allows you to add one person's details which isn't very helpful if you're travelling as a pair or group). The staff were always friendly and helpful in their messages as we tried to deal with these issues, though.

I found the method of revealing your destination unnecessarily contrived (a scratchcard that yields a code which you then enter online to be told your destination - it worked perfectly well, but didn't really add anything to simply opening the provided envelope to discover your boarding passes).

But our hearts sank when we learned our destination: Geneva. A city with a reputation for being both dull and expensive seemed a curious choice for a surprise trip. We tried to embrace it and make the most of it, but ultimately our weekend confirmed that - while it may be an excellent place to live - Geneva isn't terribly interesting to visit, and is horribly, horribly expensive. We spent almost as much on food for the two and a half days we were there as we had spent for the flights and hotel, and that was despite very consciously choosing budget options. Our experience of the city wasn't helped by the fact that our supposedly central hotel was a good 30 minute walk from the old town and areas of potential interest, in a charachterless-feeling part of the town (it's not generally an encouraging sign when you have to walk past several car dealerships to reach your hotel!). The hotel itself was perfectly nice - clean and slick - but its inconvenient location hampered our enjoyment, as we either lost considerable time schlepping back and forth or had to abandon the idea of using it as a base during the day.

To summarise: we were generally satisfied with the booking process and communication from the srprs.me team, but we found Geneva a baffling and ultimately very disappointing destination, and feel that more thought could be put into selecting destinations.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time.
The hotel was lovely, the flight times were great and most-importantly...the destination was a complete surprise!

Was a fantastic trip!
Everything was so easy. It was all so relaxed because usually I have every detail planned down to the last drop. This meant I couldn't have made any restaurant bookings, didn't have any regimented time frame to stick by.

It was like they read my mind when booking our trip. I wanted to chill out for 3 days in the sun and drink nice wine, that was exactly what we got! It was fabulous.

Only criticism was with our hotel, our room was absolutely TINY. Had we brought a checked on suitcase there quite literally would not have been any floor space for it. We were a little disappointed by that as cabin fever majorly set in with the size of the room.

We booked easily through the website but did encounter some problems closer to our holiday with the weather update which was resolved quickly. The envelope arrived well in advance and on arrival att he airport the code and website worked. We received a bottle of prose covering to the room courtesy of srprs.me to apologise for the website issues which was a nice touch,
We stayed in a comfortable, clean hotel with good amenities and in a great location for transport links.

Would def recommend using them for a holiday without all the stress.

We only booked this a week before we went. I couldnt have coped with a longer wait - too much excitement! Great correspondence before the trip, with any questions we had answered very quickly.
We had an amazing 3 days away. Really loved the hotel, it was quirky, central and really friendly staff.
Managed to squeeze loads into our time there and would love to go back!
Would 100% recommend using srprs.me for a trip and will defos do it again!

As soon as I first saw the advert for srprs.me I knew it was something I had to do. EVERYTHING about this process has been amazing from the initial booking , the communication from the company , the amazing concept and the information given about our actual destination. The customer service is absolutely incredible and I would urge anyone to book a trip with srprs.me , we are definitely going to do it again next year ! Had the most fantastic time and loved the anticipation of having no idea where we were going. Told anyone who would listen about my surprise weekend plans !! So thank you srprs.me, you are something else !!

The first one was quite interesting since the letter came later than expected. I only knew where I was going at the check-in desk. Small issue, in my opinion and everything still went well.

The second one was just okay, probably because it's Ryan Air. But the area and trip in general was still really good.

Nonetheless, they booked for me decent flights and accommodation so I'm still happy :)

Thrilling! What an experience. Even before booking staff were extremely friendly and helpful; reassuring you at every step. Once booked, everything went according to plan - i received my tickets and weather forecast promptly. The reason or giving 4 stars is due to the website updating the night of me travelling resulting in me not being able to use the code on the website in order to unlock my destination. I had to open my boarding pass to find out. This also resulted in an immediate panic of not knowing which hotel i was staying in as i did not get the emails which would have been triggered from me using my code.

If anything goes wrong - use Facebook! I phoned the emergency phone number 27 times to no avail and left 3 voicemails which were not replied to. Once i got onto FB i got a reply in 20 minutes.

When we did eventually get back on track, our location was superb and the hotel was beautiful.

Buy a book for your location at the airport! It proved so helpful and we used the map the whole time.

Give it go! It was the most spontaneous thing i have ever done and would do it again tomorrow.
