Don’t buy a pergola
I ordered maze pergola mid April as delivery stated within 2 weeks, I had to pay full amount of over £3600. I even chatted on live chat about it, but no mention of a delivery delay.As soon as I paid, I had message to say it would be delivered May 30th not April.Jacob said if there was a problem he would let me know and I received no email to say it was going to be delayed again.As I received no email I paid for decking in the garden to be installed and emailed him on 28th May to ask if everything was going to be ok for 30th. Once again he said delivery is again delayed and would be definitely around June 20th. I told him I could it buy it somewhere else but he promised to match price and said it would be delivered then. I stayed loyal and emailed again just before delivery date and this time he said it would be end of July. I have now got full refund but will not be buying from Jacob again. He did reply to emails but not until I chased the pergola about delivery. It’s a long time for a company to have all that money. I rushed and paid more to have the decking ready when there was no need. As Jacob had price matched the pergola he was not willing to provide platinum delivery as a good will gesture.Very disappointed, he just needed to keep me updated and not wait for me to keep asking.

I haven't received my order and firstly they told me it was going to be x week. Now it is meant to be arriving a week later.
However, the communication has not been fantastic as I'd prefer to receive automatic updates on things and a clear delivery date.

Say furniture is in stock when it isn’t
State that furniture is in stock when it isn’t, then will continually lie about delivery times.
Do not purchase unless you can confirm delivery or that they actually have the items in stock.
Great and friendly service
When my garden furniture arrived, two cushions were missing.... I emailed Jacob, he responded very quickly, and contacted the manufactures, kept me up dated in regards to the manufactures response. I didn't wait long for the replacements..... Great and friendly service. Would definitely buy from Staffordshire again
Ordered a chest of drawers
Ordered a chest of drawers, took some time to arrive and not without problems with the courier but when I notified the company about the problems they acted swiftly to make sure my parcel gets delivered. Thank you!

HOMELY is not HomelyBrand
I recently had a terrible purchase experience with HOMELYBRAND, USA. I confused HomelyBrand with the HOMELY company. HOMELY and HOMELYBRAND are not the same. HOMELY is responsive and cares about their customer service. I am sorry that I posted a bad review for your company by mistake.

Amazing from start to finish

First class service
I ordered some maze outdoor furniture from Homely and my whole experience was nothing short of first class. Jacob is extremely helpful and friendly and appears to work very hard in order to get the customer what they want. I will be going back to buy more from Homely as the whole process from ordering to delivery was very smooth. The delivery arrived exactly when Jacob said it would arrive which is very good considering conditions today with what is going on. Jacob always updated me and I would highly recommend Homely as a company to get your furniture for your home

Took ages for product to arrive and I had to keep chasing and chasing. Lamp shade was described as emerald but on arrival it is teal and does not go with the emerald bits i already have. Very disappointed all round.

Maze rattan sofa set

Chest of draws excellent refund process
I bought a chest of draws and when it arrived it was bigger than I had hoped. It would have been wise to have measured before ordering, but luckily I was able to send back the opened package of draws and get a full refund. I spoke to Jacob who owns the furniture business via email about the situation. He was happy to give me full refund if the furniture wasn't damaged. He couldn't resell it because it was opened but he very generously gave the draws to The Alice Charity. It made the process easy and refunded me straight away. I would buy from this business again as it is a trustworthy business.
Purchase and delivery of garden furniture. …
Whilst we experienced an unfortunate delay in the delivery of our garden furniture, some 4/5 months, it was accepted that was caused because of a ‘double whammy’ effect of Covid delays, transporting from China and the Suez Canal being closed for a couple of weeks in the summer because of a shipping accident. When the furniture did arrive. it was in first class condition and good quality.

Horrendous to deal with.
Returns policy not clear! This is the monkey of the business, you are actually receiving your product from abroad, so if you do want to return it they will charge you THEIR fee to do so and wont guarantee a refund if you use your own! None of this is stated anywhere in their T&C's, the company, Staffordshireuk, is registered in the UK but wont let you send the product back to them even though it's from them you purchased.
If you challenge their policy they just stop communicating with you, basically, they already have your money so it's your problem not theirs.
Offered a pitiful 10% partial refund which you feel is your only option in the end because they wont reply to emails!!
Would definitely NOT recommend I will definitely NOT use again.

The offer of £70 was after communication stopped, the pitiful partial refund I mentioned above.
I didnt change my mind, the product wasn't suitable, it came flatpack, not as advertised, so I had to get somebody to build it for me!
The charge for return, £60, was to send back to a company abroad! NOT stated anywhere in your T&C's, I was dealing with YOUR company based in UK therefore expected to return to YOU, not somewhere abroad!
Lastly, I have been back in touch, the outcome of offering a money off voucher, that was useless to me, to remove this review speaks volumes. How many other reviews have to bribed customers to remove!
