Waste of money
Don't waste your money purchasing insurance from Staingard. My sofa was accidentally damaged by my child, something that is meant to be covered by my policy, the technician from Homeserve came to assess the damage and declared it to be wear and tear, not accidental damage. My sofa is only a few years old, no signs of wear and tear elsewhere on the sofa but Staingard are refusing to repair it. My advice to anyone thinking of taking out a policy with Staingard is to read the reviews on Google first, there are lots of other cases like mine where Staingard are finding ways not to pay out. Only wish I had done this before wasting my money with them.

Company is no good
Company is no good.
Reason being this company can only repair stains for say fabrics and heavily processed leathers .
Anything which is of natural leather they cannot do anything therefore companies like fabb shouldn't offer this as appropriate stain gaurd insurance.
Natural hide with a thin coat will easily fade , scratch and stain in multiple areas which could happen in one day or over a period of time.
This company think people don't have to work and expects you to be in literally all day waiting around for them. Day slots can take weeks than in addition to this time slots can run all day .
So , as anyone would do is try and claim for everything to be done in one go . I.e you have to get a suitable slot day this could take months by this point another stain may occur. On the day of your slot you will find yourself inside all day waiting for a technician.
One stain I did have, I claim for within the date forgot or wasn't in due to such long slot times .
However , when the technician arrive he said that not something that can be repaired anyways on it own .So , therefore if I had called the technician out to deal with that one issue there nothing he would be able to do about it anyways .
My claim is invalid because I have "apparently"asked for multiple issue to be repaired , well fix the issue that can be repaired than? . Noone in the right mind is going wait in all day for one light scratch or cup mark to be repaired and wait a whole month or several weeks for a slot date for another issue so naturally people will do the similar thing .
The policy is only suitable for man made and heavily processed materials and usually they do not stain much or rarely do, when they do stain the technician is able to repair it within the appointment slot.
I just know because none of my stains are repairable by the technician on site that the main issue here , the technician only ever focused on one area at the time yet they claimed I wanted several areas done the technician would of happily done all areas and there wasn't a problem at this point about multiple areas being claimed for the problem really here is 9 out of 10 cases can be repaired by the technician and several areas will be covered. Fabric sofas it pretty obvious , one massive stain you naturally going claim for when it occurs . Heavily processed leathers take such a battering, if you reach a point of a stain it going look pretty bad at this point .
Natural leathers completely different story , several stains can be done in one day very easily by misplacing a cup on it surface than moving it further up than 5 mintues later dropping a greasy item on it . All could be done within one day , but it considered a problem. The problem here is they don't have the skills to deal with the type of material I have and that when claiming for multiple areas becomes a problem and the claimed is invalid if that technician knew he could do all the stains he would of happily done so and there would of been no mention of it being invalid.
They're offering something that isn't that special the stains that occur 9 of 10 cases could be easily dealt with without any expertise due to the nature of materials . Any fabrics that are less processed or natural they unable to deal with so they're not offering noone nothing technically speaking. In easy cases they probably fine in cases where specialist attention/ equipment is needed or required like many insurance policies they will wiggle themselves out of it . Someone with materials like myself are more likely going require insurance policy , you just have a bunch of customers who never needed the policy in the first place and solving easy problems .Eitherway if I claimed for the one stain , nothing could of been done and what than? So , one stain in my case makes no different to multiple stains because nothing can be done without specialist equipment or attention . In my case the hide I have is so unique it would require taking out whole sections ,than colour matching it very hard to do . This requires real expert knowledge and skills and this company cannot provide that .

I would call then stain thief and fraud, I have covered all my furniture and bed frame as well as mattress, . Insurance include fully, both occasion they reject the claim and said some silly excuse. Even though it was valid claim
