The office staff are amazing and very helpful, but the management and engineers who attend the site are a different matter.
We received misleading information about the call-out price and whether we were under contract. This resulted in an unexpected bill for a simple job – one camera now showing on screen – totaling nearly £300 for 1.5 hours of on-site time. Furthermore, the engineer spent at least 30 minutes fiddling with our system and settings.
Despite being told there was no need to do so, the engineer continued to do so. Be careful what you ask for from this company.
After a phone call from someone higher up in the company the invoice was adjusted to a satisfactory amount.

Just had our analogue alarm system upgraded to digital. The engineer turned up on time and was very polite, organised and efficient. We have been customers of BWS security for well over twenty five years and would not 'trust' any other firm to maintain/service our equipment. If broken into the alarm is immediately monitored by the call centre and the police are on their way. We were burgled many years ago and we are thankful in the knowledge that BWS have always provided a brilliant service.

Ok for initial fitting but non-existent ongoing support. I have been contacting them for over six-months to get my CCTV back up and running and I am constantly ignored.

I am shortly leaving the area and would like it known that over a number of years, from the moment they installed my system, I have received a first class 100% reliable service. They have been professional and friendly and offered sound advice. Thank you

Had a visit from alarm engineer Eric today. A very pleasant and capable guy who impressed me with his professionalism and knowledge.
I have not previously placed an online review about a service I have received but felt I should do so on this occasion as I was really impressed with how he went about his work.
He took time to explain to me what he was doing and why and ensured that I understood how the equipment should be operated.
He went that extra yard and I felt that he cared about giving a good service and he did just that.

Just to confirm that Glen was here this morning and has sorted the problems out.
I have to say that he was most impressive and knowledgeable and gave me huge confidence that he knew his stuff, Please would you let his manager know how well he did and how he has generated confidence in the company too.
Perhaps too you could let Glen know that I wanted his line management to know just how good he is.

The engineer arrived on time, and he was pleasant and very polite. He carried out his work carefully and efficiently. I was very satisfied with this service.

I have been with Standfast since I moved to the property in the 1980's. Last week I had an upgrade to the system with the addition of pet friendly sensors. What a good idea they are - no more checking where my cat is before I set the alarm. The survey and quotation were detailed and easy to follow. On installation day the engineer arrived on time and carried out the work to a high level asking questions as needed to ensure everything was as per the quotation. He left the property clean & tidy.

I have only one small comment that due to the covid situation most people are working from home and I understand that but the request made to the surveyor in a phone call to him discussing if fobs were available was not added to the items given to the installation engineer on the day. But this is very minor and I would recommended Standfast
