Fast delivery and great products! Excellent service

I'm extremely disappointed with the service from starel stones. Myself order was initially promised for delivery in January, but faced multiple misleading and missed self-imposed deadlines before it finally arrived.
To make matters worse, delivery was incomplete.
I'm still missing 30 verde borders and 7 verde green corners. I have tried to resolve this multiple times, sending emails 12th and 18th, 24th of March and leaving several voicemails, bit recieved no response.
My advice: hope your order works for you, and it is actually in stock, otherwise you may ruin into the same issue I have. It is impossible to complete myself project without these parts, and total lack of communication since delivery has been unacceptable.

Since posting here I been contacted and we have moved on forward to resolve this issue. Still not there but making progress. Will have to say thank you to Alex for reaching out to help with the issue.

Visited the showroom in Fareham and was greeted by the lovely Alex and Sophie. Some great ideas and really some of the best natural marble I’ve seen. All in stock so that’s my weekend ruined !

1. Website is excellent and really easy to navigate and find what you are looking for
2. Colour representation on the website is like for like with the samples sent
3. You don’t pay for the samples and really to my mind only a nominal shipping fee
4. The samples arrived promptly via DPD which is in my experience a really good indication of customer service standards as DPD are super reliable.
5. Finally and probably most importantly, the samples are absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for, so I will be ordering for our hallway project today and will mostly likely when we get around to it will use Starel for the bathroom too!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I have tried multiple times to contact them, but the phones go unanswered and emails are only replied to when they feel like it. I have repeatedly asked for a manager (Alex or Steve) to call me back, yet this has never happened.

At this point I am completely at my wits’ end. I would strongly advise avoiding this company — there are far more professional and reliable stone suppliers out there.

1st time using this company after shopping around Unmatched Stone Quality. Their slabs and tiles feature breathtaking that feel one-of-a-kin brilliant to deal. Just excellent from start to finish.

From first contact to survey to installation, Starel stones were first class. I know where I will be going for all my marble needs from now on.

First time we have used Starel, Absolutely no problems, quick and efficient delivery. Slabs are lovely.

We had an excellent experience working with Starel throughout our refurbishment project. After visiting and comparing many stone suppliers across the UK, the stones we found at Starel were simply the most beautiful and refined of all the options we saw. The quality, consistency and elegance of the materials immediately stood out.

One detail that particularly impressed us was the subtle micro-bevel on the tiles. It is a small refinement, but it makes a remarkable difference once installed — giving the stone definition and craftsmanship. It creates a very clean, architectural finish that works beautifully in contemporary interiors while still feeling timeless.

Another major advantage of Starel is the breadth of complementary pieces available. Being able to source matching skirtings, mouldings, pencil trims and more specialised profiles such as inverse flutes from the same stone range makes an enormous difference for anyone trying to design a cohesive space. Many suppliers provide beautiful tiles but very limited detailing pieces; Starel’s range allows a project to be finished properly and with real design continuity.

The service has also been exceptional. Julia in particular deserves special mention. She consistently goes out of her way to help, find solutions and make things possible — even when requests are complicated or time-sensitive. In the middle of the inevitable stresses of a major refurbishment, she has been a calm, reassuring and highly professional person to speak to. That combination of knowledge, responsiveness and genuine kindness is rare and very much appreciated.

Overall, Starel combines outstanding materials with thoughtful detailing options and excellent customer service. For anyone looking for high-quality natural stone with the finishing pieces needed to execute a truly well-designed project, we would recommend them without hesitation.

Customer support has been fantastic. Attentive, responsive to emails and calls. Team happily take the time to guide you through decision making process. Highly recommend.
