Alex and Sophie were very helpful sorting out matching tiles for me.

I paid for and ordered tiles knowing there would be a lead time. However, the lead time has been extended far beyond what was originally quoted.

This is the second time I have used this company. The tiles themselves are nice, but the customer service is horrendous. You can never speak to anyone — everything is done via email, which leads to endless back-and-forth that never resolves the issue and becomes a frustrating waste of time.

For that reason, I would recommend going to Mandarin Stone instead. Spend a little more and you will get far better service. The tiles here are nice, but the customer service is honestly the worst I have ever experienced.

During the course of our project we realised that we needed a few more meters of tile to account for changes - but the tile we chose was showing as out of stock online. I called Alex and she tracked down the exact amount we needed in the warehouse and arranged for a quick delivery so that our job could progress on schedule!

Also worth to mention thst the staff was incredibly knowledgeable.

I use Starel a lot for my marble bathrooms and their range really is superb and head and shoulders above the other tile companies.

quick delivery and sizeable samples for free

We placed a large order for a renovation project we were doing. Due to a change of plans we ended up being a bit short of some of the tiles we needed. After phoning up Starel, Sophie and Kam worked hard to match the tile colours with the warehouse and get us expedited deivery to ensure that our project could remain on track. Great service and products from Starel Stones!

I cannot get a hold of anyone! I have emailed 2 different emails multiple times, I have rang multiples times a day and I cannot get an answer. Can someone please arrange to contact me back! The tiles were delivered but a few had a hairline crack so I need to get more delivered to finish our bathroom but no one is responding

Impossible to contact -they don't answer phones or reply to emails - even when I'm trying to do business with them

Alex and Sophie were helpful to resolve my issue with broken tiles. And they worked to replace the tiles for me, so I could complete the bathroom

I am extremely disappointed with this company and their complete lack of customer service. We placed an order for tile in early December 2025 with Alex (Order #7906), and it’s now mid-February 2026—over two months later—and we still haven’t received our order or any meaningful updates.

On January 6, we were told, “We expect the tiles to be delivered to our end by the end of this month.” Then, on January 11, we were told, “Your order has been dispatched from the factory and is expected to arrive with us within 2–3 weeks.” Based on this timeline, the tiles should have arrived at their warehouse by the end of January. It is now mid-February, and we still have no confirmation that the shipment has arrived or when it will be sent to us.

Throughout this time, we have sent multiple emails and called their office several times, but their promised 1–2 business day response never comes. Every time we try to get an update, we are essentially ghosted. This lack of communication has caused delays in our project and disrupted scheduling with our contractor and trades.

Frustrated and out of options, I turned to their social media to ask for help and see if anyone else had experienced similar issues. Shockingly, not only did I receive no support, but my comment was deleted from their page—completely erasing any attempt to hold them accountable or even get a simple answer.

Between the repeated delays, broken promises, and censorship of legitimate concerns, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I cannot recommend doing business with this company. If you value your time, your project, and basic customer service, please consider buying elsewhere.

Fantastic selection of marble products and great service. Alex helped with my final selection after I was sent tile samples. She is very knowledgeable and helpful, and I was able to see the tiles in person and then place an order straight away to secure the tiles that I want. The marble is really special and unusual, which is what I wanted. This is the second time I have used Starel to source marble, and if i need to I will use them again. Many thanks, Gael
