Happy customer for 7 years and counting
I have been banking with Starling for about 7 years and have never been disappointed. Even when trying other providers, nothing compares to the ease and customer service from Starling. They have managed to keep the app simple and helpful, even as they've added new features that, although I don't always use them, don't feel like annoying gimmicks! Also, their fees and exchange rates are much better than those of others.

I have held a Starling account since 2018 and my overriding experience has been one of simplicity, security and flexibility.
Since then the app has evolved adding flexibility to add funds, make payments and separate my balance into individual spaces for saving and account debits with full and tailored category notes on my spending
I have made use of the telephone customer assistance on odd occasions and where I have been assured of a secure connection to a customer service advisor that deals thoroughly with my issue until it is resolved to my satisfaction.
I receive regular updates on the progress of improvements they make and when there are any changes to terms and conditions and all in simple language I can understand.
I have used the app abroad on holiday and payments and withdrawals are accepted either by card or contactless with NFC payments made in Apple or Android wallets.
Altogether the Starling Bank is without question for me a trustworthy online bank providing all the facilities I require and provides a simple, trustworthy, reliable and customer focussed service beyond anything I have experienced over my 70+ years of banking customer experience.
