Purchased 2 starscopes but never received them

Purchased 2 starscopes. The company sent me a usps tracking number within a few days but didn't send my order for approx. 1 month. When they sent it there was somekind of problem with the addressing of the package with the usps and after 3 months of multiple emails telling them the package was lost with no attempt by them to resend replacements I called my credit card company and disputted the charges. After waiting for over 5 days to hear back from the company they told me that my order was headed back to them and that they would be happy to resend it back to me. I told them that I didn't trust that I would receive it and that had already disputted the charges with my credit card company. I would highly recommend that you do not deal with this company. There customer service is terrible.

Took money and didn't ship

I made an order for a starscope monocular and a phone mount on April 13/2022. My account was debited one amount and they sent me an email receipt for a completely different amount. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. They told me they couldn't find the order. I emailed them a screeshot of their own email receipt and then they changed their story saying that my order had been cancelled because the payment was refused by my bank. Yet my bank statement clearly shows it went through. Now they claim they never got the money. DON'T buy from them, because they may keep your money and never ship any product.

I ordered 3 monoclers 2 normal price…

I ordered 3 monoclers 2 normal price and 1 for 19.99 it's been 3 weeks and I have heard nothing absolutely nothing I emailed them 5 times giving my email address home address and phone number still absolutely nothing it's like day just put up this promotion for monoclers you pay they take and that's it it's unbelievable that they can do this I'm on to my bank they are investigating hopefully I can get my money back I think it's mad this day and age they can just do this I know it's an American company hopefully the FBI or police can do something it's wrong don't buy your just throwing your money away 👎

Does not allow returns

I ordered this item and it shipped. I was not satisfied with the product and sent an email requesting to return it well within the 30 day refund period. All I get are emails claiming they are very busy and will get back to me. Finally, I got an email from a "Sarah" offering me a future discount if I did not return the product. I said, no. I also responded that I wanted to return the product and asked them to please send me return instructions. No answer. It's almost like they are dragging things out past the point where the customer can file a dispute with their credit card company.

Read every word of the ad carefully and understand what you are getting

I was interested that it could be used with a phone mount which I hadn't noticed until after sending in order wasn't included. Went back to ad and found what was included and #6 shows a circle around a tripod so felt a little better since I wouldn't be getting a phone adapter. Scopes arrived and I had purchased two and didn't see any tripods. Going back one more time to "What's Included" # 6 picture shows tripod but reading # 6 it says tripod INSERT. Mostly my fault for not going over ad with a fine tooth comb but still feel the scope is nothing special. I have a pair of mini binoculars that was purchased at half the price of Starscope and believe it provides better viewing than the Starscope. Online shopping is new to me and blame myself for being disillusioned. Won't say it's a scam but anyone wanting a monocular should just go to the store and try them out in person instead of being drawn in by slick advertising.

TOTAL SCAM- beware

TOTAL SCAM- beware. Product does not work and company refused to honor return policy. I emailed with with the a dozen times starting a few days after I received the product requesting they provide the return address. They continually sent me responses since May that they were looking into it and today they informed me my products were not eligible for return because I was outside the 60 day return window.

Do not Purchase from this Company

Placed an order with this company over 6 weeks ago and as yet received nothing, tried emailing the company but just get an automated email response. Can only say that I have been scammed out of £70 anyone thinking of ordering from them stay clear.

Not the greatest support and caution needed

Received the item and only wished I had taken time to check out reviews first.

On face of it the item seems ok BUT in use the dioptre is not brilliant for my eyesight and a free pair of binoculars with a magazine gave better and sharper detail

Eventually got an email to say I could return the item - what is not apparent either from the adverts for it, or the postal package it was delivered in (Royal Mail UK address) is that returns are to the Netherlands.

This cost me the best part of £12.00 which in the context of the purchase is a lot of money - being sent from a UK address should have allowed return to such.

Totally disgusted with this company

Totally disgusted with this company. The monocular is Ok, but it was advertised when I purchased it in June to come with carrying pouch and tripod, it arrived quickly but no tripod or carrying pouch. I have contacted Starscope many times but no joy. Unfortunately they are deceiving the public and if I dont get what they advertise I will be taking this further.

I ordered 2 Starscopes and phone…

I ordered 2 Starscopes and phone mounts, only one turned up. Contacted support and just got replies that said "our records say it was delivered" or similar words. And as a product for taking pictures using a mobile phone, it is rubbish.

SCAM-Buy at your own risk

If I can give this company -, I would. THIS IS A SCAM. I have made a purchase on June 16th, 2022. I received my order # and stated that the items will be shipped soon. I received an email with a tracking #. However, the items hasn’t been shipped. A label was created, but the company didn’t ship the products. I have called and emailed several time. There is no answer on the phone # provided. Email was sent and I will receive an email from “SIDI” 24 hours later to let me know the product will ship soon. After about 3 weeks trying to cancel the order that hasn’t shipped, got a hold of my credit card and stoped the payment. Still waiting for my credit company to let me know the final outcome. Never received the products and I believe this to be a total SCAM.

Returned Items Two Months Ago; No Refund Yet

I ordered and received the starscope monocular which I was not happy with. Had to work hard to receive any level of customer service but after many, many attempts I was provided details to return the unwanted items. I returned the order as directed over 2 months and have yet to receive a refund. Have called and emailed many, many, many times to no avail. I simply want a refund which has yet to be processed.

Poor product, poor service

Poor product. Photos with the starscope attachment are actually worse than photos taken directly with the smartphone. No customer response other than automated generic emails, and no response to request for return/refund. Order / Starscope email ref “Return order 2219218680 [27X5W6-VE0W7]”

More of the same scam....

Well, wish I would have checked out this company beforehand. I have had the same dismal experiences with this company everyone else has. No shipment, ridiculous "customer service" answers to my repeated emails (when they bother to respond), an ongoing fight through PayPal to get my money back, etc. etc. etc. It is embarrassing to realize that I was totally scammed like this.
Is there nothing we can do to put them out of business?

Hasn’t shipped after 3 weeks of having…

Hasn’t shipped after 3 weeks of having ordered it. Customer service phone only allows you to leave a message. They don’t return the call. Emails are responded to by bots. Do not waste your money.

After reading this reply, they offered me a website that I had already been to to ask for help. They gave me the opportunity to repeat the steps I took above, having no hope of getting any help.

Not a real business.

There is no customer service. There is no response to emails or anyone answering a phone. Starscope company just seems to be a scam. I ordered it. The product is not good. I have called and emailed for a return copious times,no response. They received 70$ from me and I received a bad product and no response from any Starscope “business”. No return address,nothing. No one is really there.
