This product deserves a MINUS FIVE STAR…

This product deserves a MINUS FIVE STAR RATING. Surely giving it a one star is suggesting there is some element of good in a product.
As the vast majority of your reviewers have clearly stated this product very poor and the company is a scam. In fact the product is completely JUNK. The clamping of the lens to the mounting bracket is less than third rate.
When clicking to order you then find you have to pay extra for the camera mount then you find out there is a delivery charge. From the time you believe you are paying £39.99 for the whole advertised product you then find you have to add another £19.99 for the bracket then it adds a further £9.95 for delivery in total you find your purchase has cost you £69.93. Once you click your initial order of the starscope there is no way to get out, you feel you have to have the bracket which you believed was part of the product you were going to buy in the first place and then a big delivery cost is added. The two-day delivery was SIX weeks.
I requested a return system notification and a full refund but have heard nothing back.
STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING THIS PRODUCT TO KEEP THEIR MONEY IN THEIR POCKET.

Useless and not as advertised

This arrived after a lengthy wait. Despite the adverts, and detai;ls on the box, it does not have a 10x zoom. I have made about 20 complaints to the company and just get automated responses or assurances that my issue will be addressed, and so on. PayPal will not enter a dispute and advises me to contact the vendor.....! Meanwhile some other suckers are presumably believing the adverts and making purchases. Amazing that Ebay and Amazon are perpetuating this fraud by carrying the adverts.

Don't buy anything from them

This is a criminal company. They tell you orders be sent out in two days. Never happened. Customer service phone number is always busy. I cancelled this order and after two days of cancellation I got an email the order is shipped or will be soon. I replied with email again and still no proper response. This is a rip off company and now I have to go and sue them over wire fraud. Stay away from them. Pure evil. Add on. Now the company contacted me to have me pay for return label. Unacceptable since the order was cancelled longe before the shipped it. Jus a evil company who cares about stealing your money and nothing else.

Have had problems with this and the…

Have had problems with this and the company I bought it from, from the start, doesn’t do what it says, the enhanced magnifier has never worked, absolute con, do not buy this useless monocular. Thank you for your reply, however after contacting three times and having negative satisfaction, my rating of your product would still be the same, you had no intention of rectifying the problem.

Beware Star Scope website!

I found the Star Scope order page to be a complete bait and switch. Then, shipping was not added on until after
the order was completed and it was too late to back out. I have canceled my order because the experience was so shady. Now, they refuse to credit my credit card back! GRRR!

Starscope Monocular is a complete scam!!! Ordered monocular and camera mounts and never received order number or the order. Took my bank couple months to get me refund. Starscope should be put out of business for fraud

DO NOT TOUCH this company the customer…

DO NOT TOUCH this company the customer service is dreadful, I have never come across a company like it.. They take your order and payment the cannot provide a shipping date, it was one excuse after another. I still do not have a date and have now cancelled the order as it was for a birthday present but now it is to late. I have since bought a similar product from Amazon which is not only cheaper but better magnification and delivered in 2 days!!!!!

Starscope Monocular

Starscope Monocular - very disappointed with customer service and this product as it did not work as advertised. Purchased on 15 Dec 2021 as a Christmas gift, it arrived mid January and thankfully came with extended warranty. The monocular and mount did not work as advertised with iPhone 12. When trying to return the products I was offered 30% off the purchase price which I declined. I opted to return the items as they were not fit for purpose. I received an email on March 17 giving me return address details. I provided tracking and proof of delivery on 30th March and now I have no product, no refund and no reply from Starscope. Do yourself a favour and do not purchase this product, it does not work as advertised and you will only be disappointed with the lack of customer service.

What a useless piece of rubbish

What a useless piece of rubbish. If you believe the hype about it's massive magnification, let me tell you, it is crap! This company ripped me off, big time...don't let it be you.
The product materials are cheap and nasty, the magnification the sales hype professes, are just that, hyperbole!
AVOID AVOID AVOID
If you buy this sh#t product after reading this then you only have yourself to blame...they offered me a discount on the purchase price. Clearly knowing they are selling sh#t.
I refused...I am out of pocket a lot of money...but F#ck you starscope! You are fraudulent company and a disgrace!

Starscope’s Customer Service Failure

Seeing other reviews, it’s clear to me that I should have looked at them before ordering.
I ordered one Starscope monocular in early December, 2021, hoping for a delivery for Christmas - it was a fail. Then I ordered two Starscope Monoculars from Amazon. Good to their word, Amazon delivered on time. I had an opportunity to evaluate the device and found it to be substandard. I sent them back to Amazon and received a refund promptly.
The order from Starscope arrived in January. I didn’t want it and I began an arduous process to get my money back. Multiple emails, a PayPal complaint hasn’t achieved anything. You pay to return the device, nice. I have a USPS receipt that they received it. Website states it may take up to 45 days to process returns/refunds. I’m at 30 days today. I don’t expect to get any satisfaction for my efforts. It has been a very good lesson.

this company should be blackballed

this company should be blackballed. Definitely not consumer friendly. I ordered 3 korelscales in Dec 2021. Received one. Same experience as other customers. Promises, promises, promises. Finally got my cc company involved. instead of the refund i was promised, they CHARGED my accoun an ADDITIONAL $117. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I ordered 5 dtarscope monoculars on…

I ordered 5 dtarscope monoculars on Dec. 5, 2021. I have no received these items yet. I paid almost &200. I have contacted them at 5 times with the same response. Mail delivery is slow, that they have been sent to date (march 19, 2022 I have not received my order or a refund. I would NOT ever order another product from this company. I have got nothing but the run around.

This is a scam...it is not 10x42 as per the advirtised picture. It is a basic single lens monicular. Cheaper to go out and buy yourself a pair of binoculars. This is a cheap product made in China. You have be warned.

Expensive lesson well-learned!!

WHY did I not check the ratings comments before buying??? It's a horrible product with likewise horrible service! They got to me big-time. Expensive lesson well learned! Now I know better--but too late.

I ordered this product early Dec with…

I ordered this product early Dec with anticipated delivery 2 wks later. Forget it! Couldn’t get a resonse, couldn’t talk with a live “person” and the same automated message always. I cancelled the order and they sent it anyway. Sent it back, requested money back and they said “ they have no record of an order from me”! Such a SCAM

Shame Shame Shame

The only reason I put a 1 for this ranking is because there are no negative number ratings to post. This company should be ashamed. Ordered 4 scopes and 1 phone attachment on Dec 9, 2021. Crickets since then, other that the stock BS customer service apologies. And still no product, but they did not hesitate to charge me within minutes for my order

Do not order from this company I order…

Do not order from this company I order on Nov 21 and it didn't arrive untill Jan 22, I email the company many times and just got generic response, they took the money from my account and didn't give me a order number or tracking number, luckily I paid through PayPal, so had some proof of purchase, when the item arrived it was broken I emailed them about it and they have not responded at all, about being able to return item for full refund, buyers beware not a good company to deal with,
