Why can't all companies be like Start Solar? They were professional, efficient and friendly from the beginning to the end of our experience. The solar package they recommended was perfect for our needs, was well priced, expertly installed and all paperwork efficiently sent. We are now saving on our electricity, get free hot water and put a few miles in our car every day! I really could not recommend Start Solar highly enough. If you thinking of a solar system, and everyone should be at the moment, get a quote from Start Solar and start saving!

Very impressed from start to finish. No nonsense just straight to the facts. Have to say was very impressed with John and Fergal, credit to the company and took great care with installation putting me at ease. John positioned my battery well and was neat and tidy and Fergal positioned the panels very neatly causing no issues to the roof.

I got my solar panels and invertor / battery installed by Start Solar. They were slow in responding to getting a quote and initially said I could get more panels than their installation team said they could fit. I have been trying to getting additional panels fitter but their customer service is appalling. I have contacted them approximately 10 times and have yet to get an answer.

Start Solar Ltd supply an excellent 5 star product that is exactly as described. Installation is rapid; professional; and efficient. The team are friendly and customer facing, and no trouble is too much to achieve client satisfaction. The overall experience and service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

From the moment I met the guys from start solar to the completion of the installation was seam less.
I had made an appointment with Andrew, called up to my house and told me the best places to mount the solar panels, then explained all the pros of solar and how it all worked. Any questions I asked were all answered very professional and with full explanations.
These guys knew there stuff and I felt very comfortable to place an order there and then.
About 8 weeks later my instal was arranged. The guys showed up around 8am - I went onto work and came back home at 4.30pm and the electrician was onsite just finishing up. I assumed they had to come the next day to finish, however they had everything done and dusted, and cleaned up. All my batteries and inverters was put up so tidy and out of the way in the attic. They explained all to me, downloaded the apps to my phone and showed me how to use the new car charger.
The icing on the cake for me was the phone call from start solars head office around 15mins after the engineer has left.
Follow up phone call to check that everything was done as it should be and what would happen moving forward.

Total professional service from the time Andrew walked down my driveway until the engineer walked back up it again with the job complete.

I would recommend having a chat with these guys even if you’re considering this for 6 months or a year down the line. Super helpful and professional with no pressure to buy their product.

After going through a robust procurement exercise, I made the decision to go with ‘Start Solar’ owned by Andrew McKee. Andrew took the time to explain all the features and benefits of solar power how it would all work on my roof and how investing money in my roof made better sense than keeping it in the bank. The installation day went smoothly and everything he said would did happen dead. I chose a system with 15 panels a 10 kW battery, an inverter and an Eddie. I can already see that I am generating my own electricity to run my household during the day and the night and also heat my water and yet it’s only the end of February. I highly recommend Andrew and his team.

Can’t recommend the team at Start Solar enough. From site survey to installation everything was clear and simple.

I obtained several quotes for my solar system and although StartSolar was not the cheapest for the spec of system I am glad I went with them. Installed without a hitch, very happy with system.

Very professional service, staff lovely, shout out to Ryan and James for being so patient. Andrew has a wealth of experience and knowledge which was very helpful when deciding what type of system to put in. The guys who came out to do the work were all very respectful and really friendly which always helps.

Initially the sales and organisation of installation seemed to go well but that is where things started to go wrong . The communication between my sales person and the workmen was very poor which resulted in mistakes being made and delay s. I am now 7months down the line but I still haven’t had the bird proofing completed which I was not offered at the time and I believe I should have been .I now have birds nesting under the panels which is a big problem .Numerous calls to head office and my original sales person has not resolved this

I would highly recommend Solar Start. The process was seamless from start to finish, completed professionally and to a high standard. Response to queries has been swift and every member of staff a pleasure.

Start solar ireland. There were a few glitches between quote and installation but nothing major. However they failed to register us as a provider and have not fully righted the situation. The fault is clearly theirs. Disappointing and frustrating that they are not engaging to address their negligence.

After 5 years my system still doesnt work correctly. Inverter has never provided correct information since install and they have no intention of fixing it instead blaming the supplier of the inverter. Stupidly bought additional batteries off them last year as they offered a good price. Surprisingly they have never worked correctly since installation, at the start they would randomly drop up to 20% of their charge, eventually not charging beyond 20%. still waiting on some sort of fix after constant calls to them. Again they are blaming the battery supplier, seems to be a pattern were its not their fault so not their problem. Never have i been called back, probably in the hopes they could avoid fixing it.

Recently just got solar panels done and can say absolutely pleased with the whole team from start to finish . Very professional and good workmen and workwoman lol . Thanks Andrew for all your help with my annoying questions which you answered . Can’t wait to see my bills come down !!!! If your looking to get solar panels highly recommend you go with start solar !!!

Great company to deal with, very neat and clean install, installation lads very friendly and professional. Zaffy sales rep explained everything was great to deal with, have pv system up and running now 2 weeks and its have exceeded my expectations, I should have done it years ago. Thanks guys

Start Solar have been a pleasure to deal with from the initial enquiry to the installation of our PV setup they have been professional, prompt and pleasant. Despite my initial scepticism that the installation would only take a day - the team arrived within 5 minutes of the advised time, had the panels mounted on the roof by lunchtime and the system up and running by 4pm!
No hesitation in recommending Andrew and his team if you are looking at solar PV.

From the very start I spoke to a sales man called Zaffy and he talked me through the whole process of solar panels and gave me all the advice I needed he was genuine and very obliging as i wasn't the easiest to deal with,the day of installation all the lads were really nice and professional and done a excellent tidy job, they made sure before they left i was set up using the app and explained everything,im delighted I chose Start Solar for my solar panels and would strongly advise anyone looking for solar installation to give these lads a shout
