We stayed in a van called Daphne for 3 nights and couldn’t recommend it enough! The camper van is kitted out with everything you need and is extremely easy to drive. You get a demo on how to use the van before you take it, as well as a video explaining everything, so no need to worry if you don’t have any experience using a camper van. Everything is made easy for you! Everyone was extremely friendly and we felt very well looked after from start to finish, we would definitely recommend using them and will use them again in the future!

Had the best time in our van daphne!! Everything felt brand new and comfortably slept all three of us.

Would 100% recommend using staycation Scotland for any campervan hire. The girls respond to any queries straight away and you are provided with contact details if needed (we never needed to use them).

From start to finish we had a wonderful experience, very quick and efficient. Saffy was very well equipped with everything we needed. The rock n roll bed was very comfortable. My partner and I done the NC500 in it and it was a perfect size for the windy roads. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire from staycation again.

Fantastic little company to deal with. Quick and easy to book and very responsive to queries. There were a few small issues with our van which we’ve fed back on, however, this did not spoil our overall experience. Vans are very cool inside and well kitted out with everything you need.

Cannot recommended staycation Scotland enough! Just back from a 5 day holiday in one of their amazing campervans called, Phoebe. From collection to drop off everything was so smooth. On collection everything was explained in detail with how the van works, cooker, heating system, how to fold down beds etc, then on drop off we literally unpacked the van, they done a quick inspection of the van to make sure nothing was wrong and away we went. Jules and her team were so so helpful the entire experience, if there was any questions or issues you literally just contact them on the mobile number given at time of pick up and they are so fast to get in touch with you. We absolutely loved our campervan phoebe, she was immaculate on collection, had everything we needed inside ranging from a fridge, a cooker, then all your cutlery, plates etc! All you really need is your sleeping bags and food! We also had a lovely little gin and tonic plus a fresh bag of coffee waiting for us inside the fridge. Staycation Scotland are also so reasonably priced as well, probably one of the cheapest out there! Honestly these guys couldn’t have done anything more, they definitely went above! We cannot wait to book back up again very soon for another amazing stay in one of the best campervans!! 1000/10 experience! Xx

Had an amazing time, our campervan, Phoebe 😊, was perfect! Can’t fault anything, Staycationscotland were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. Phoebe had everything we needed, well fitted out, comfortable and we were really surprised how spacious she was. Will definitely be booking again next year! 😊

The van was very clean and tidy, collecting it was incredibly easy, having completed all the pre checks on emails. Was stocked with everything we’d possibly need for our trip, a quick but thorough run through of how everything worked was exactly what we needed. Great experience, would 100% recommend

We had such a great time on our recent Staycation Scotland trip! The campervan was finished to such a high standard and had everything we needed for our trip. We had an amazing time and couldn't recommend it enough!

Lovely people! We had a fabulous time in camper van Daphne, who was beautifully presented.

We hired Saffy for a week to do the NC500 in Scotland. Firstly I’d just like to mention how amazing and friendly Jules and her team were, they were always available to answer my never ending questions upon booking, the pick up and drop off process was so quick and easy and we drove off feeling super confident (there were quite a few things that seemed daunting gas, putting the roof up etc but this was all explained)

Saffy herself was super clean, comfortable and was just what we needed. I cannot believe the attention to detail the team put into each van. There were complimentary gins, tonics and coffee in the fridge, every kitchen utensil/pot you could need along with a USB cable, map, hairdryer and even cleaning equipment!

We chose Staycation Scotland Campers as you are not limited on the miles you can drive in a day like some other companies which was great for our trip!

We would 110% recommend to EVERYONE! We will certainly be returning with our new puppy (they’re pet friendly too!!)

An amazing trip doing the NC500. We travelled in our wee van “Lola” who was well equipped with everything you need. Julie was brilliant and explained everything perfectly. We made many great memories including getting engaged!! would highly recommend using Staycation Scotland to meet all your campervan needs! Will definitely be booking again !

Honestly, such a lovely lovely company!

We hired Roxy for a 8 days trip of NC500 (we used a girl on instagram called justjessfood for our guide / route). Couldn't recommend the trip enough. Scotland is beautiful.

The van has everything you need. We was two adults travelling and felt like the space was ideal. So much attention to detail (and we kept getting so excited discovering more storage spaces haha) You could have had two more adults, but i would say pack really light if this is the case.

The only extra we brought with us was a portable camping stove and a bbq for some cooking outside but the van has all the facilities you need to cook anyway. Oh and a foldaway blanket was useful (although the van does have camping chairs and table too, it really has everything)

The van is honestly perfect. We didn't hook up once and the van power lasted us the whole trip as we charged it on our drives. Water was easy to re fill.

No problems at all through our trip and Jules was really helpful with advise and was only a whatsapp away through our whole trip.

Will definitely be returning to them for a campervan to travel Scotland a bit more x

We’ve booked campers with Jules at Staycation Campers and the service (and the vans themselves) have been impeccable every time.

These campervans are amazing! We hired Phoebe for 6 nights and felt safe, comfortable, and cosy. The space is really well thought out with plenty of cubby holes and places to store things. It's stocked with all the essentials you'd need - just bring your bedding, clothes and some food and you're good to go! A lovely touch was the gin & tonics and ground coffee that were ready for us in the van to enjoy during our trip :) The van was clean and well maintained and we felt safe the entire time.
Jules and her team are so lovely and the whole process from booking, collection, to return was really simple and they were on hand with any queries or requests you might have. They were also really accommodating and understanding, especially when we had delays with our ferry impacting the return drop off time.
We had the best time away touring Isle of Arran and Isle of Mull and truly did not want to hand the van back! We've caught the campervan bug and hope we can book another trip with Staycation Scotland again in the future. Book now - you won't regret it!

Where to start…! We had the best few days exploring the West Coast of Scotland thanks to Staycation Scotland.

The lovely Jules was there to introduce us to Phoebe and show us the ropes- the van was amazingly equipped with everything you could possibly need. As a family of 4 (including a moody 12 year old and boisterous 8 year old!) I was a bit wary about having enough space but the van had so much storage and we had more than enough room for everything.

Phoebe was perfect for travelling and we were very grateful for her on some of the damper nights where we could stay cosy and sit inside playing games.

Collecting and dropping the van back off was a doddle, Jules and her team were so helpful- nothing was too much trouble. The only difficult thing was consoling our son who didn’t want to leave Scotland or Phoebe!

Amazing weekend away in the campervan! Had the luxury of a little home whilst still getting the camping feel, will definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best trips ever using Flora!! I’ve travelled to different parts of the world but doing a staycation with staycation Scotland has honestly been a trip of a lifetime. The girls have been amazing and so helpful and made you feel so welcome, my boys (4/2) loved it so much they want to go again next week!

Managed to get a last minute booking in Lola for 4 nights. Straight away Staycation Scotland were great and made sure we had all the right paperwork to complete the booking. Arrived to pick the van up and had a really good tour of the features and how things work. The van was great, really well thought out, lots of storage, comfortable bed and really easy to cook in! We were sad to hand the keys back and already taking about our next trip!

We couldn’t recommend staycation campers enough! We stayed in Lottie for a week whilst travelling the NC500. The van was equipped with everything we needed from camping chairs to plates and cutlery and even had WiFi. Jules was so much help from start to finish, nothing was ever too much trouble. We have already recommend staycation campers to numerous friends and family and we will most certainly be back!
