Second time ive booked with Eden and still awaiting a reply from comments i made back in May. Should have been told there was no main stream tv due to a fire at the mast. Not bothered to much about the telly but would have saved me 90 minutes trying to set it up. Communication ive found from Eden is shocking and for a new company needs to improve drastically. Cottage was first class so no issues at all with it. Parking roadside if not car park just down the road.

We really appreciated this beautiful conversion set in magnificent surroundings, its cleanliness and warmth. To add to this the underfloor heating, quality furnishings and fixtures made for a very pleasant time. We were impressed with the Neff oven and hob, the Le Creuset kitchenware, granite worktops, and the covered pergola with heater, lights and log burner. To leave instruction booklets for the room thermostats and timers was a boon too. Nice touches were the bowls for dog food and the dressing gowns left in the wardrobe.
The number of light switches overwhelmed us to be honest, even by the end of six days.
An improvement would be to indicate which items go in which wheelie bins for recycling.
We definitely plan to return and have recommended the property to family, friends and on social media. May your business be highly successful - a lot of time, effort and money has gone into this.

The booking with Eden retreat for Peckforton Stables was really easy to book and the stay at the property was wonderful the property was excellent and the owners were very helpful and very friendly and would recommend this property to any of my family or friends

Easy and user friendly webpage to book with. We initially booked a property and paid in full, however a week before we were due to go the owner contacted us direct to say that could not accommodate our dates, which put us in a real panic not knowing what we would be able to do. However after contacting Eden retreats direct and we had call back from Josh Diamond, you put our minds at ease and gave the option of a refund or in finding us an alternative accommodation. We took the option of a alternative place/accommodation, which ended up being at a lower price than what we had paid for originally (the refund was paid back to us, promptly). We have no negative feedback on where we have just had a lovely week of relaxing, chilling and exploring. Amazing accommodation, perfect location, with loads of lovely extras upon our arrival. We stayed at Old Well Cottage, Belncarn, Cumbria, we highly recommend this place, the owners were very welcoming, lovely family run place. Thank You Eden for your recommendation, we would highly recommend using Eden to our family and friends.

I recently booked a holiday next January for a group of 12. I found the property online with Eden and after messaging on the online chat spoke to them to confirm a couple of things, which was really helpful as I was able to speak to someone who had visited the property and could answer all my questions. Both the online and personal experience were straightforward.

On arriving at Stoney Calf with were amazed by the scenery and beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself was well thought out for two people. Everything you would need and very comfortable and peaceful, just perfect for visiting the Dales and Cumbria. Lots of lovely walks and places to eat. Kirby Lonsdale has a variety of shops for all your needs. Would certainly go again.

Recently returned from a fantastic week at Stoney Calf in Cumbria. Had such a lovely, relaxing week with gorgeous walks from the door but with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales & Lake District. The property is beautifully peaceful, cosy & well thought out. We enjoyed it so much we have booked for another week next Spring.

We had a wonderful holiday at Castlebury Barn, and can't recommend it enough. Beautifully decorated, lovely garden, stunning views across the valley, and the added luxury of a hot tub. It is in a lovely peaceful location, but a short drive to lots of wonderful places to visit. Owners very friendly and the welcome pack was brilliant. Great website, booking very straightforward. We had such a great holiday, we can't wait to return.

Eden Retreats made my booking easy. Great website, and very friendly and responsive when I called. All info was received in advance of stay. Castlebury barn is just lovely and the owners were very helpful in the week before and their little touches made the stay amazing. It was all a wonderfully positive experience. Had a wonderful stay at Stoney Calf. Everything in the property was to a very high standard and the view was exceptional. It was lovely to have a garden at the back to be able to sit outside when weather permitted. The booking and info was seamless and we would definitely stay at this property again.

We've just arrived back from a fantastic break in Devon staying at the valley view, there was 8 of us mainly all adults & 2 dogs there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space without being on top of each other. The house was well equipped in all areas,comfy beds with lovely soft clean bedding,hot tub was well used by all it made the house even more enjoyable. The only thing I would say that needs dealing with is the rather large pot hole coming up the driveway onto the parking area, there was plenty of room for our 3 cars. There was lovely walks to enjoy around the house and a fishing lake 10 mins walk away, town was about 10 mins away by car, walking takes about 35mins. Would definitely recommend this house.
Would definitely book with Eden Retreats again.

I had a most excellent stay at the Beeston Cottages in Cheshire at the end of August 2021. A perfect well maintained and spotlessly clean modern cottage that forms part of 2 or 3 others adjoining. The booking process was excellent, the facilities are very good. The comfort was superb. Thank you Eden retreats for finding this gem of a place to stay in rural Cheshire. I recommend it to anyone.

I feel I need to back up the review that I have seen in relation to Melidan House to make others aware to avoid it and Eden Retreats at all costs! We paid over £2000 for 7 nights but came home after 5 it was that bad! No where is it mentioned that you are staying in someone’s house on a loud, busy main road, with some else’s clutter blocking cupboards so you have no where to put your things! Some pretty clever pictures have been taken to advertise this property as it is an absolute disgrace once you get there! The hot tub is old, peeling and jets don’t work! The velux’s in the kitchen had months of cobwebs, flies and spiders in them (I have pictures if anyone wants to dispute!) the floors were filthy! There is nothing luxurious about this property! The furniture was either uncomfortable or broken…i.e. seats at the breakfast bar caved in as they are cheap, poor quality. Cheap mattresses where you can feel every spring. Cheap polyester bedding full of holes. Shower not draining as blocked. Toilet seats loose. Bills, receipts, letters and other rubbish all over the sides and desk on the landing! Even the owners car parked in the drive! On the first day I was unable to find the hairdryer….pretty standard for a holiday let… nothing! I rung Eden Retreats to complain to be told I’d got through to a switchboard and they’d have to get someone to ring me back…a switchboard…it’s not the 80’s! Lo and behold it was the owner who rung me to tell me where the hairdryer was. Locked away in a walk-in wardrobe that’s she was embarrassed for me to see because it was such a dump!! Well she wasn’t kidding! Clearly, they had quickly run round gathering anything they could before throwing it through the door, vacating the property and banking my hard earned cash! I’d rung the holiday company, who my contract was with and was unable to speak to anyone! Absolutely shocking! I would never, ever use this company again! No one has followed up after the holiday. It’s a poor excuse of a company who clearly don’t take pride in the properties on their books! Shame on you for spoiling what should be an enjoyable time for people!

First time using Eden retreats we found the accommodation extremely clean, tidy and loved all the little touches to make our stay more easier and homely.
We didn't find a fault with our stay and will be booking with Eden retreats again.

I have booked for a group of 15 to stay at a property via Eden Retreats next March for a family birthday. The booking process has been extremely impressive, I had a couple of questions before I proceeded with the booking which were answered very promptly and gave thorough explanation. We are really looking forward to our stay next year. Thanks for your help!

Our 1st time booking with Eden Retreats at Kipper Lodge in Dartmouth, and we were very impressed with both the property itself and the ease of booking and subsequent help/information received from Eden.
We will definitely be using Eden Retreats again and I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to book a property in the UK.

An excellent stay at the quirky Old Watermill. Excellent booking process with Eden Retreats.
Apartment was very comfy, excellent kitchen, bedrooms lounge and bathroom.
A great centre for exploring Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire.

Our stay at Castlebury Barn in Devon was faultless from start to finish. Booking was very easy and the online help was perfect.
The barn was immaculate! Above and beyond our expectations. Shelly & Rob had thought of everything! The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and a great incentive to check out local produce.

Shelly & Rob were on hand throughout and could not have been more helpful!

The barn, it’s location and it’s situation, plus perfect hosts was quite simply an amazing escape and one we hope to revisit.
