Two month delay in receipt

Two month delay in receipt. Terrible quality. No extension in return window despite the fact that it took 2 months to receive product. Shame that they hold their customers to a higher standard than they hold themselves.

Second Order

This is the second time i have ordered with Stefan Thomas, both orders being the Oslo Sweatpants. Following my previous review complimenting the the item i had received, i have to say what was sent to me the second time i ordered was not at all to the standard i expected after my first order.
Despite from being hugely disappointed with the difference in quality, i have to praise their customer service team, i had questions reviewing where my parcel was, when it would be with me, and then reasoning as to why the item was of a much poorer quality.
I would like to thank Stefan Thomas for their continuous communication and reassurance, they always replied promptly. I was offered a a full refund on the second order.

Terrible

Clothes took 2 months to arrive and were terrible quality and not as pictured. Cheap knock off stuff from China. Requested a refund but was not given a reply

Cord trousers

I purchased two pairs of these trousers.
Initially I was disappointed with the delivery time, but when one pair arrived (I'm still waiting for the second) I was happy with them and have had several compliments.
On the plus side I would say the material is very nice and they're very comfortable. On the minus side I'd say they are short in the leg (despite the elasticated ankle - they can ride up) and the stitching could be better; both of these became more apparent after the first wash.
The company have made efforts to improve communication, apologised for delays, and offered a partial refund for the inconvenience.
Overall I'm pleased with the trousers and would recommend Stefan Thomas.

Cheap Chinese badly executed

Ordered beginning of January, just received the item today.
Had been kept up to date with delays so not a problem to wait, small company, just starting, gave them the benefit of the doubt.
The trousers are nothing like advertised, sizing way off, textile is as cheap as it gets, too short… can’t even use them as indoor comfy trousers.
Not one to complain but if that was my business and I just started , I wouldn’t feel good about sending those products out and if I wasn’t aware that is what the products look like then I’d appreciate some feedback from customers and will try and resolve that as fast as I can before too many negative comments spread everywhere.

Company took down my last review

Adding a new review as the company had my last review taken down which only proves their lack of integrity.

Clothes are of a crazily low quality and clearly fabricated at the cheapest Chinese workshop they could find. Stitching is all over the place and sticking out from all sides, pockets are so shallow they don't hold anything and the sizing is way off (trousers are super wide but super short so look ridiculous).

They failed to send items on time due to "high demand" and then rushed orders out by their own admission apparently resulting in the low quality.

Very shameful practices. This place shouldn't be operating.

We have a high quality standard but recently have had a big problem with our Oslo Cord Sweatpants (no longer on sale) as our emergency supplier has not produced the product at the same quality as the standard one. We are sincerely sorry for this as it has clearly effected your order.

Quality service from the team!

Purchased two items from Stefan Thomas. One piece I now wear everyday but the other I decided to return. I left it over the 14 days and also forgot to add the order number in the package, but after quick and easy comms with the CS team I was offered a refund for the returned item.

Highly recommended!

Over a month and products STILL haven’t arrived!

I’m afraid I have to join the mountain of unhappy customers. I made my purchase on the 22nd of January, a week after received a production fault email on the 1th of Feb. Since then not a single change to the status of my delivery, don’t buy from them till they sort their business out!!!!

The joggers started falling apart the…

The joggers started falling apart the first time I put them on. Stitching is poor and putting my hand in the pocket the stitching came apart in one area and my fingers poked through the hole. I've contacted Stephan Thomas support twice in the last 10 days for a refund or replacement and they are just ignoring me.

Update 12th March: After a third email to Stephan Thomas I've finally had a response, an apology for the delay and a refund issued.

If it were possible to give a zero-star rating, I certainly would.

The "Oslo Cord Sweatpants" from Stefan Thomas epitomize a deceptive marketing strategy, with a website suggesting luxury and quality craftsmanship that starkly contrasts the reality of the product received. Despite the allure of sophistication and the promise of premium materials, what arrived after a tedious three-week wait was nothing more than a product of cheap Chinese dropshipping. The materials are synthetic, a far cry from the promised corduroy, showcasing a clear front for cutting costs at the expense of consumer expectations. The atrocious craftsmanship, featuring loose stitching, and the laughably inaccurate sizing further reveal the disparity between the website's luxury facade and the low-quality, dropshipped reality. This stark incongruence between marketed image and actual product exposes Stefan Thomas not as a purveyor of fine goods, but as a company that egregiously sacrifices quality and integrity for profit, misleading customers into purchasing substandard products under the guise of luxury.

Thanks for your response, but I'm struggling to see how returning the trousers to China aligns with your environmental claims. This process seems to contradict the positive impact you aim to achieve. Additionally, without tangible evidence of your contributions to planting trees and charity, these initiatives feel more like words than actionable impacts.

Demanding items be sent back across the globe directly conflicts with any notion of sustainability. I'm also curious about the partial refund you've mentioned—exactly what percentage of the initial cost would that cover?

Looking forward to a solution that actually aligns with the sustainable values you profess.

I have to compliment your eloquent vocabulary. You have raised some important points.

The long wait is not normal and due to a big supply crisis we have been facing. We have emailed many updates on this matter.

We are sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the quality. We have had some big issues with supply and some sub-par items have made it through to customers. This is due to us using multiple suppliers to try and reduce the aforementioned delays. We have reported this issue back to the factory and the quality control measures have been changed significantly.

We do not rip-off our customers and both our items and service are usually far better that this recent period.

We take a different approach to the competitors such as shein. We use the slightly higher price to give back to the world. We plant trees with every order, donate to charity fundraisers and keep only a small margin for ourselves.

We have been so caught up in this supply crisis we have not been able to display this as widely as we would like (as apart of our brand identity) but in future our goal is to take some of the market share from the likes of Asos Shein Etc, and give back to the planet.

We completely understand that you have had a sub-par product and sub-par service and are completely entitled to be unhappy.

We can offer you a partial refund or if you're willing to return the a full refund.

We do not request return shipping to China, that would indeed be ludicrous and a direct contradiction of our environmental views. Our return address is in the UK where we process them and if possible (size issues not quality) re ship them to customers to minimise wastage and again, air miles.

Please take a look on any of our product pages where it mentions 'buy one plant one' for more information on the tree planting. It is in partnership with thegoodapi and we do not see the money at any point. It is immediately deducted from the revenue and sent to our project with Sprout (tree planting company). Our trees are currently being planted in the mangroves of Madagascar by Eden Reforestation Project as this has the double benefit of absorbing carbon directly from the air but also cleaning the ocean which encourages re-habitiation of the waters by animals, algae and seaweeds further absorbing carbon and generally benefitting the planet.

We are a new company and have lots more work to do to make the process more elegant, efficient and cost effective for the customer whilst encorporating further initiatives.

Regarding the refund we would need you to email us support@stefanthomas.co with a couple of pics of the issues you've had and we will get back to you with a fair response.

Cheap , Chinese & Poor Quality

Company ships from China although business details indicate that it is in the UK . 4 week+ wait for delivery. Quality is poor (think SHEIN) and not worth the price paid (even at advertised 1/2 price) lots of loose threads, corduroy feels thin and cheap and both items ordered had rubber labels sewn on with gibberish words which were not on the examples shown online. Sizing is not as described and comes up small/short like typical oriental sizing .

Crap service

I bought trousers on the 11th January, not received anything, not even an email from them. The only correspondance I have received is to download the Shop email to track my order, but without giving me any tracking numbers etc.
They've also ignored my when dm'ing on Instagam.
ST...what are you playing at?!?!!

This is very concerning to us that you have had no correspondence. We send our confirmations through email primarily or SMS if email was not given. If you could email us at support@stefanthomas.co with your name and if possible, order number we can get back to you with why this has occurred.

We have had a supply crisis lately and been mislead by a couple of factories. This has resulted in big unavoidable delays and if your order hasn't reached you by now I'm afraid you have likely been caught in this.

We are incredibly sorry about this delay and have offered everyone effected a 10% refund, 20% off future orders and the option to cancel/refund if neccesary.

Regarding the Insta DM I'm afraid we only reply through support@stefanthomas.co. We are a very small company and can only manage one inbox, it is mentioned on our insta to email us for inquiries.

We agree that the service has been shocking and can only apologise, this is not our usual standard and we will not make these same mistakes in the future.

Scam - do not order. Orders aren't sent

Placed an order for 2 items on 11 Jan 2024 (1824) and despite numerous emails and messages on Instagram my items still haven't arrived. It's now 27 Jan. They just reply saying check tracking.

Beware. It's definitely a scam.

Order never received

Ordered Oslo cord sweatpants on the 11/01. On the 14/01 I received an email saying they were on the way. It is now the 26/01. I’ve sent 3 seperate emails to both the support email and the original email account and have received no reply.

The tracking code I was given also just says ‘Info received’ from Yunexpress. So safe to assume my package was never sent and I’ve essentially been robbed.

I have never left a bad review but feel the need to here. Do not buy from this site

Instagram Shop, average at best.

Got served an Instagram ad for them and decided to bite as they looked alright and were 'on sale at 50% off'.

Seems to be drop shipping from China from other "brands". The "Oslo Cord Sweatpants" are from "Fashion Design." Quality seems fine but there's obvious flaws, one of the labels on the Sweats has Lorem Ipsum body copy but even that has been mispelled so I don't think it's ironic. Rest of the labels are in Chinese and broken English as well.

If I had paid full price I'd feel let down as you can get branded stuff for less than their 'full price'. But I'm not really mad at the clothing or the guys behind Stefanthomas, more disappointed in myself for going for it to be honest but wouldn't recommend.

Order not received - Yet

Order not received. I received an email a week ago saying my item was shipped however when I click on the “track your order” button it says “404 page not found” which leads me to guess my order is not going to come and suspect it may be a scam. Im order number #2132 if somebody from the company wishes to clarify the status of my order.

Edit: have just been told by customer service order is in fact on the way. Once order arrives I will take down the review as I wouldn’t wish to harm small businesses. My concern was that this might have been a fraudulent Instagram company as I know people who have been stung in the past.
