Superb quality and great service
Super quality and great service. All of Lorraine’s stencils are fantastic, with a wide range of styles and designs to choose from! Always prompt delivery and availability. Loraine is always super kind, patient and helpful if I ever have a question. So many great products that I love; and I particularly love the reusable self adhesive backed stencils which are great for awkward areas and save on having to use masking tape.

No communication, no action
Ordered 1 stencil, 4 months after order still no shipping updates, not a single response to email request directly to biz or through app shop.. multiple email communications requested. After 5 months said it shipped , no tracking , no email follow up, then go a refund. No idea why or if the product was ever actually shipped. Horrible experience almost reported as fraud, still not sure if its not.

Hello Eileen - I have reached out to you on email. The stencils on HobbyMaker are mostly exclusive to them, and yes all have the adhesive backing. The stencils you chose from our website are not listed as adhesive (those that have the adhesive backing are listed as such). Had you reached out to us prior to ordering we could have clarified this for you, or made some with an adhesive backing if you wished.

Very slow process
I ordered my stencil 3 weeks ago. Two weeks ago I was told it’s in its way and I still haven’t received it. Really inconvenient as I started my project thinking my stencil had been shipped, only to find that the courier still hasn’t received the package yet.

Lovely stencil, a little disappointed in the size as we’d have preferred it longer but that’s our fault, needless to say we became inventive and used it twice and made it look like a reflection.

Hi - as you will recall you chose to open a case with Paypal within 1 minute of sending an email to request information about your missing order. Had you waited one more minute you would have received our reply - an apology and an offer to immediately look into it for you. You did not need to go via Paypal for a refund, we would have happily refunded or reshipped, but you chose not to have a polite conversation with us. Royal Mail have since confirmed the item is indeed lost.
Stencil was ok but 2 week delivery
Stencil was quite thin and did not come with a measuring, as I thought it would. Also took 2 weeks to arrive after payment

Hi Susi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Stencils are meant to be thin and flexible, if they weren't you wouldn't be able to achieve a good finish. Having said that, our stencils are much thicker than standard wall and furniture stencils. (250micron compared to 190micron).
We state our processing times at the top of our home page so customer can gauge if the stencil will arrive in time for delivery. For a number of months, we have had an extended delivery time to allow for staff illness and holidays.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'a measuring'?
If you need a stencil in a rush it is always worth dropping us a line to see if we can process quicker.
