Well it looks like this company is going downhill. Problems seem to have started since about September. Sending wrong items, poor quality, phone number just dies, no email response. What has happened, it all was so good before... If you are ordering one item, you might be lucky, but don't expect ANY customer services, so it's pot luck.
Edit: I've since learned this company went into liquidation in 2019 and dissolved entirely in 2022. DGD Ltd owns the rights to the company. That's where the problem obviously lies. What a shame.
Steer clear! Ordered a heather mccoo clock 21st September 2024. Clock arrived ten days later. Clock is now not keeping time. Changed batteries still the same issue. Customer service is non existent. Two emails and numerous phone calls,over TWENTY attempts to contact via telephone, each time call ends! Eighty pounds for a clock that now less than three months old doesn’t work! I have contacted citizens advice bureau who have given some valuable advice and have also notified trading standards! I suggest anyone else experiencing similar issues do the same!
I have ordered several items over the past few years from Steven Brown Art and although the delivery has always been slow to arrive and their communication isn't very good, I've eventually received items within a month. Not this time. I had ordered 3 items from the black friday sale. I kept checking the tracking (which was the same reference) and it shows as invalid. 1 part was delivered just before christmas, which came from a supplier outside the UK, but the 2nd & 3rd items haven't arrived. The order is showing as fulfilled, I have tried phoning several times but the line cuts out after message asks you to hold or email. I've emailed and received the generic email saying they'll get back to me. I understand that the business was on limited hours over the festive period, but this is beginning to worry me. It appears they are still taking orders so I don't think they've gone out of business. I'm more annoyed at the fact the the last two items I'm waiting on are calenders for 2025 and that they aren't commincating with me at all.
Don't order the blankets folks. They're thinner than a microfiber cloth with no Sherpa in sight. Customer service is non existent. Check out reviews on this company before ordering! I've had some great stuff from them but if there is a problem with your order then you're stuffed.

Ordered a chopping board. The delivery was a little slow but was understanding as it was the Christmas period. Ordered 16th December and Amazon delivered 27th December. The item was well packaged but when I opened it I instantly noticed several scratches on the board. Overall the chopping board is good quality, it’s just a shame about the scratches 😕. Will not attempt to send it back after reading the reviews n customer service, not be ordering anything else in the future.

The customer service is appalling! A phone line that never gets answered. An email address that might get responded to with a generic reply that doesn’t actually address the issue. It’s bad! Looking at all the recent reviews they all follow the same pattern!
I made an order at the beginning of December for three items.
One arrived in a Jiffy bag within a few days. The quality isn’t as good as expected but hey ho.
After chasing the outstanding two items more generic emails were received. A second item arrived.
Third item was allegedly dispatched on the 13th December with the first item that I already received but the tracking says it was delivered to a neighbour a week before it was sent to a neighbour that doesn’t exist! DX say to contact the seller so a waiting game for them to actually respond.
Item was meant to be a Christmas gift… will it ever arrive…

I have noticed a lot of bad reviews regarding Steven Brown Art's customer service. . I ordered a calendar on 2nd December 24 which has not arrived .I have emailed and was informed that the calendar wss on its way It didn't turn up therefore I have asked for my money to be returned which has been ignored !!
The calendar has not arrived and this appears to have happened to lots of people this year Some people are.waiting for a few hundred pounds back !!
Be aware , and read the reviews as it appears no goods have been received and no money has been returned. I ordered every year but never again .

Sent the wrong item so emailed and they replied asking if I could send a picture of wrong item which I duly did even though it was not my error. Now 5 days on and no reply tried calling all always come up call transfer failed. Item was a gift to take to Ireland tomorrow which is not going to happen now. Quality of the prints I also ordered are paper thin now which before hand were on thick card and I have a red line around the whole outer border from the cutting machine. Steven Brown art used to be quality but now it’s just shoddy and won’t be ordering again. Very very poor customer service considering it was they’re error in the first place
Worst customer service ever!
Sent order back, have proof of postage that they have received it back. No communication no refund. Tried phoning on numerous occasions and can never get through. Emails take 3 to 5 days to be answered and generally they use stalling tactics as they don’t read your emails properly. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Wondering if I’ll ever get my refund 😡
I'm a reluctant reviewer because you get bombarded for requests to review when you have just received the item so how can you give an honest review?!
So a year on I am delighted with the floor cushions and large cushions that I ordered. The floor cushions are my 2 dogs beds and they are amazing, wash like a dream.
I was so impressed I bought a lot of different cushions for Christmas presents this year.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the delivery is v v slow. This needs to be rectified to stay competitive.

Although I was a bit hesitant after reading some recent reviews, I’m so glad I gave it a chance. When I emailed customer service to ask about the delivery timeline, they responded promptly—within just a few hours. The feeding station arrived, and it’s absolutely fantastic: high-quality craftsmanship and a stylish design that looks great in our home. I’m beyond satisfied and would happily order from this company again!
The actual quality of the goods is excellent but I'd hesitate to order online again.
Delivery should have taken 4 to 8 days. On the 8th day I emailed to ask about tracking and the next day got a link to amazon. This told me I'd be informed when the items were available, which was not optimistic.
When there was still no update two days later I emailed customer service cancelling the order and asking for a refund. By a pure coincidence 🙄 I received an email shortly afterwards announcing my parcel would be delivered the following day. At this point there was still no update on Amazon but to my surprise it was delivered on time. I am pretty certain however this was related entirely to my request for a refund
I understand that this is busy time of year but that's all the more reason to be realistic about delivery times.
Edit - Christmas cards finally arrived on Christmas Eve, 22 days after I'd ordered. A more honest business would have admitted they were out of stock when I ordered them.
Order placed for 3 different items the last one arrived today (12th December) much later than advised. The customer service team are useless. Such a shame as the items are lovely.
AVOID this company items took ages to come. Ordered a blanket was more like a beach towel. Still waiting refund, returned at my own expense of over £6, even though my tracking says they received my order back over a week ago! No reply to emails and phone line doesn’t connect. Please don’t give your money to this company as seems impossible to get a timely refund. Disgraceful at this time of year when money can be tight!
I placed an order with this company for a compact mirror with giraffes on. It was £11.34 for the item and with the postage it came to £16.23 which they took from my account on the 10th December. I tracked my order yesterday and it said I had received it yesterday afternoon but I haven't. I've tried no end to contact this company but cannot get through. They will not respond to my emails. Beware! I think it's a scam.
