And another poor review!!

Recently ordered from Steven Brown Art on 1st January 2025 (order #1052628-UK) solely because my partner loves their Canvas paintings so I placed an order (£100 canvas painting) without thinking twice about any issues arising. Wish I had checked out these reviews beforehand!! Sounds like I'm one of the lucky ones that actually received my item albeit I wasn't happy about paying £10.99 for delivery (which is now free postage!!!) to find my item arrive half open on the front and the canvas painting wrapped in a clear plastic bag, no protection whatsoever! not even corner protector's. I was astonished as I have ordered £10 photo frames off the internet not long ago which had corner protectors and was padded in their box. This prompted me to email at my dissatisfaction but no reply, rang multiple times over multiple days, no answer as the line is just cut off (experienced like most of the recent reviews) Please stay away from Steven Brown Art, you should be ashamed of yourselves! With this level of customer care you won't be around long and your name tarnished as a result!
You get 2 stars at most, at least I received my item unlike some of these unfortunate people!!

Do not give your money to this Company!

Do not give your money to this Company!
I ordered a cushion in December, total cost £31.49 plus £4.99 delivery. A delivery was quoted 6th to 9th January. They took the money immediately!
I’ve received nothing!
I’ve tried to contact them but they don’t answer the phone and don’t respond to emails.
The phone cuts off after playing a recorded message that they’re busy and please send them an email! The email gives a standard response that they “are experiencing large numbers of queries” and they’ll get to you as soon as they can. But they don’t. NOTHING!!!
So I’m £36.48 out of pocket and had no Birthday present!
DO NOT USE THEM! SCAMMERS!

I placed an order on 02/01 and delivery…

I placed an order on 02/01 and delivery date is now well past and nothing received
It was a leaving gift for my colleague and ordered well in advance, or this is what I thought!!!
Sent 3 emails, no response.
And as others said, phoned number and get cut off.
I now want my money back as had to order an alternative gift elsewhere otherwise I will have nothing to give my friend.

It’s so bad and rude to not even get one reply from my emails!!!
That’s not how you run a business, that’s not customer care 🤔

I have now open a dispute with my bank to try to get my money back.

I know it’s not a lot at £25 but when you have one wage coming in, every single penny is important, especially after Christmas.

Sadly others are in the same situation as I’ve read from other comments.
Won’t be long before they are out of business!!!!!!

Still not received items paid for!

Ordered £200 worth of items on 22nd December. Haven’t received them even though payment was taken straight away. Can’t get through to customer service on the phone and haven’t had a response to my email. Very disappointed!

Appalling customer service

Sadly this is also a bad review as I appear to not be alone in receiving such appallingly bad customer service.
I placed my order on 23rd November i was advised it would be delivered on 5th December by Amazon. The order did not arrive. I immediately contacted Steven Brown customer service and received an automated acknowledgment. I have since emailed them requesting my order or full refund. I have tried phoning but the call is consistently disconnected!. I am sincerely hoping that this review will prompt some action. This is probably the worst customer service I have experienced.

Quickly losing respect for the company

Quickly losing respect for the company.
Ordered 3 calendars this year for christmas presents as I usually do an the quality is shocking compared to last year. One has already fallen to bits.
Emailed to complain but no response, seams to be common nowadays judging by others comments.

Think I’ve been scammed

Ordered beginning December, money taken out of my account immediately. Never received order. Don’t respond to emails and phone goes dead after automated message. Guess I’ve been scammed.

Update: emailed them giving 7 days to deliver or I would take legal action. Received goods about 10 days later.

Untrustworthy

There website stated if you ordered an item by the 20th of December you would receive the item by Christmas, this was but the case as it came on the 27th, no communication was given.
When querying this they just ignore the question and state “we see you have received your item now” etc, upon further emails sent they have not responded.
So dont trust them.

They will not send order

Only part of order sent. No answer to emails. Reading on here and their social media pages, it seems this is a common problem. Do not order as they are taking money and not fulfilling the orders. What a shame as they used to be a wonderful company.

A despicable company

A despicable company. I ordered a phone case. Wasn’t to my liking. Contacted them by email numerous times. One email including my rights as obtained from Citizens Advice Bureau. I ordered as they offered a 30 day return policy. Phoned them and after automated voice the line goes dead so you can’t talk to anyone. I filled their Facebook page with negative reviews warning people not to purchase. They then blocked me on Facebook. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

If only I had read the reviews!! Like others have recently written, I too have been robbed of my money and ignored by Steven Brown Art. I have been a very loyal customer to them over the years and never expected when I placed an order for Christmas items on 27th November 2024, that my order would be unfulfilled in January 2025. I have made several attempts to contact them, the first being on 16th December 2024 - they sent a reply 2 days later informing me that they can see that I had received my product, which just wasn't true. I responded to them 2 minutes later, (and have sent several emails since) and I have heard nothing from them since. It's so disappointing. They owe me £55 for 2 large festive cushions. I will be contacting Trading Standardals and Citizens Advice about them, and I will be making a claim against them. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.

Horrific customer service - avoid at all costs

Horrific customer service.

Items ordered and returned as per the website guidance with order number and reason for return attached - return sent on 11.12.24 and received on 13.12.24. All attempts at communication since ignored, emails not responded to, phone line is no longer in use.

This is akin to theft and will be taken further if necessary as you now have our money and also have received the purchased items back. I have provided evidence of the return being received by Steven Brown Art and await a response.....

Not what I expected from this company

Numerous emails, messages via Facebook, calls that are cut off. Don't expect to receive a refund for any goods bought recently - rumour has it that Steven Brown Art is about to fold. I received a faulty Heather McCoo blanket that I have been trying to speak to customer services about for a week now. No replies to Facebook messages, no email follow ups, no one on the phone lines either, you just get cut off. Over the years I have spent hundreds on Steven Brown art, absolutely love the McCoo range. This current situation is very disappointing, with staff avoiding calls, emails and messages.

BAD SERVICE

BAD SERVICE
Ordered Christmas jumper. Advised sent by Yodel, left by Yodel according to delivery pic? When queried to Yodel that I could not understand delivery pic or identify it, they eventually investigated, took 2 weeks and said take it up with Steven Brown Art. Upon trying to call them (constantly cut off) and sending emails to their help email address. NO further forward and NO customer response to my chasing for a response. I AM OUT OF POCKET with NO goods. BAD SERVICE NOT IMPRESSED. Want your order, though NO customer service direct.
