Website doesn't get update, called for properties they advertising but it's really not longer on the market, someone should update the website so it's wouldn't wasting buyer time .
Very hard to get anything fixed or sorted out. No one replies to emails. Takes 5 or more emails to get a response.
No one answered the emergency after hrs number when we called it when we had no working toilet in the property.
Most of the property managers are inexperienced in property maintenance issues. Inspections are only internal with more concern given to a small scuff mark on a wall than damp and ingress caused by foliage growing from the flashing causing potential structural damage. If my house in Edinburgh was allowed to get into the state of disrepair I am experiencing in this Aberdeen property, I would be asking for my fees to be refunded by my agent.
If I could give zero stars I could. We paid for Stonehouse to look after our property and it has resulted in them recommending a tenant that seems to be in trouble with the law. Our flat was completely trashed. Every door in the property was damaged. The carpets has to be replaced. Most times you call the office you will not get the person you last spoke to because they will have left the company. If you try and contact a manager they will just ignore you. I have never been so let down by a service as I have with this one. I wouldn’t recommend anyone uses them if you value your property. All the damaged that happened to our property seemed to have happened whilst there being regular checks to the property and no one reported the extend of the damage to us. We have now just been given an admin fee invoice to pay…. I have absolutely no idea what for as they have been paid monthly this whole time and not done any of the things they said they would. The tenant moved out in December and we have only just what was left of our deposit in June….The only advice I have is not to use this company.
Difficult to contact, slow in answering, deposit return took 2 months. Better have a direct contact with landlord to push things.
Don’t reply promptly to emails, took months to fix urgent problems in my flat.
It's been horrible. No responses to mail. They don't attend to your issues etc.

They don’t reply and are very unreliable, they look for more money after you leave and never release deposit
I'm a Landlord and Stonehouse currently 'manage' three properties for me. Their customer service is just plain awful. Don't ever respond to calls or emails unless chased up repeatedly, never do what they say they are going to do and really don't seem to give a hoot about customers. Genuinely one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with

I have been using Stonehouse Lettings for over 7 years and they have always been efficient. We decided to give up the property we own and have been dealing with Leah Low. The tenants left our property in a bit of a mess but Leah has worked hard to smooth things for us and made sure we were able to keep all the tenants deposit. Leah was professional, pleasant and was always prompt in returning our many calls. Thanks for your hard work Leah.
Poor management if you have any issues as a tenant. I`ve been without heating for 3 weeks, electrics failing on the whole flat, no broadband access and more minors issues. The Property Manager lacks really bad at managing properties. Location of the flat is Aberdeen west end.
I am a landlord and quite frankly my advice would be steer clear, they are utterly hopeless. They can talk the talk but most definitely can’t walk the walk. The tenant paid two months rent then nothing! On my own research I found that the tenant has in fact a track of not paying rent and has debt in more than one place. I would most definitely question the company’s vetting procedure. Stonehouse were of little or no help. The assigned ‘manager’ changed on practically on a weekly basis, all disappearing from the company at the drop of a hat. The young trendy vibe they try to project is true in the fact they are young, immature and useless. If all is going well I’m sure they are wonderful but when you need them they are the most useless shower I’ve ever had the misfortune to have dealt with. If you have any sense you will stay well clear of this company!
The guys are readily available to provide any required support along with clarifications on any property.

I don't rent from them, but the person living directly above me does. Every complaint I've made about their tenant including visible damage to the block is completely ignored, or a lame excuse is made to explain why they won't take action to remedy the situation. Even when I emailed them photographic evidence of damage to the exterior of their OWN FLAT, they took zero action, saying they'd send "someone to secure the property", surprise surprise nobody ever came.
Clearly all they care about is money and nothing else, life in a quiet block has become hell since they bought over the flat above me.
