I had a very disappointing experience with Stonetools Ltd.

I returned an online order after agreeing the return directly with them. The goods were sent back in the same condition and were confirmed as delivered to their address. Since then, communication has been very poor and I have had to chase repeatedly for updates.

I was told that refunds are only processed on Fridays, but even after waiting and following up several times, I received no clear response. The order status was later changed to “refunded”, yet no money had been received in my account.

The whole process has been unnecessarily slow and frustrating, with little communication or customer care. I understand delays can happen, but ignoring customers and making them chase their own refund is not acceptable.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

charged me more than they should - they calculated VAT taxes for me, for this day I have not received any documents, invoices etc.

This product was specified for this particular job. Initially found the website very easy to navigate. Kevin on the phone was also very helpful and accommodating. We would 100% reccomend

I have ordered tools from 'Stonetools' for over a decade. First class - very helpful on the phone and were great sending back a broken grinder under warranty for me.
Highly recommend.

Yet to receive my order three days after ordering even though I paid extra for next day delivery. Would not use again.

However , paid £9 for next day delivery by FedEx - but in fact was delivered by a bloke in a white van .

rang up Stone Tools last Wednesday, just before closing time (a.k.a. "please don’t call now" o'clock), fully expecting to get voicemail or a half-hearted grunt. Instead, I got Steve – a legend among men – who not only answered the phone like a professional, but also managed to confirm my online order for Microlux Polishing Compound without sighing or making me feel like I'd interrupted his dinner.
Steve assured me my order would be shipped that evening – and true to his word, it was. Everything on Stone Tools' end ran like a Swiss watch. Fast, smooth, and no nonsense.

According to their tracking info, my parcel apparently went on a personal journey of self-discovery instead of arriving the next day as promised. Maybe it needed to "find itself" in a sorting facility. Who knows. Perhaps it was polishing its aura before arriving at my door.
Anyway – bottom line: Stone Tools = excellent service, helpful staff, and no drama.
Certain delivery company = not entirely sure how calendars or geography work.
Highly recommend Stone Tools. Just consider sending your package by carrier pigeon next time—it might actually get there faster.

Nice tool, good weight and balance on 4lb punch hammer, good price and delivery, will use this supplier again where possible.
