Very poor service and missing owner's manual
I bought a Cannondale Synapse 105 from Pedal Revolution. The bike itself is good, the rate 2 is due to Pedal Revolution. It came in a box, which was expected, but the gears were not adjusted as they promised, the stem was backwards, the gear cable was a cheap kind, not appropriate for this kind of bike, the reflectors were not like the ones I saw in some unboxing videos. Very sloppy service. I had to send to another bike workshop to have a proper gear service. If you want to buy, please make sure that you live close enough from them, so in case you need assistance you can take your bike to their store. Don't do like did buying a bike from a store hours away from you.
It didn't come to any kind of instruction on how to put it together. It didn't come with the owner's manual (they probably lost it). I asked for the manual and they sent me a link do download the manual from Cannondale website. I bought on the Good Friday and it arrived next Friday. One week is not bad, but it was not 24/48 hours as they promised.

I am very sorry to hear this, and am confused as to how this ended up so negative, the only contact we have had is about your manual.
I had sent you a video we had taken with Ed who built and packed your bike with assembly instructions so you should have this (it could be in your junk folder).
I also sent you an email explaining that the bike didn't come with a manual so I had sent you a link to download it from the Cannondale website (this was not lost, the bike does not come with it as per our email conversation).
Inside your box was the PDI sheet (Pre Delivery Inspection) that was signed off by our workshop mechanics who had fully built your bike including setting the gears then deconstructed it to put it in the box.
I am sorry to hear you had issues with the gearing (this is the first we are hearing this) however this was perfect when it left us so I imagine this was a small amount of cable stretch that you should be able to adjust with ease and we would be very happy to talk you through.
With regards the cables: we do not fit the cables, this is the cables that are supplied with the bike and are part of the bicycle package, if you are unhappy with these we would be happy to look at alternative cable sets with you however I believe the cables you have on the bike are the official Shimano cables so they should be fairly good quality cables.
At no point would we ever leave a customer high and dry, should you ever have any issues you can always call or email us and we will do everything we can to help, in this vain we would ask that you contact us before leaving negative reviews as they have a negative impact on our business and the livelihood of our staff (we are a small independent store), it is also only fair to give us the opportunity to help you and rectify any situation before deciding upon the negative.

Great Customer Support even virtually!!
I took to ordering online via the Pedal Revolution web store because of Covid restrictions. I was please that I still received the same level of great customer support albeit virtually! My only slight negative would be that as far as I'm aware (I might have missed it but I don't think so) after my online purchase, I didn't receive any notification as to when my items would be received, I chose the option for delivery to home rather than click and collect, but as I say, as far as I'm aware no confirmation of when I'd receive the items was ever indicated to me. Excellent service
I ordered my Cannondale Trail 5 from the Norwich store and got it delivered to the Gorleston store, I was notified when it arrived a couple of days later. When I arrived to picked it up they were very welcoming and my bike was all set up and ready to use. They walked me through the set up of the bike and gave me some good tips on how to keep the bike well maintained and said if I had any problems within the first few days to bring the bike back.
I was very satisfied with the service I received and will be sure to visit them in the future.
