Great customer service

Ordered my bike online a few days ago and picked up today. Great customer service and support. Made sure my new bike was a good fit and helped me load up. Already taken it out and really happy with my choice. Thanks!

Outstanding customer service and bike purchase

I bought a J Guillem Atalaya in a sale at the Gorleston Branch in November 2019. An excellent deal at the time and a great bike. Since my purchase I have had outstanding customer support from Mark & James who have been friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Outstanding and I fully recommend them

On dear, business is obviously good but……….

….. it may not always be that way and the company may regret neglecting customer service, particularly for long established customers. I always get my servicing done with them and have bought bikes, clothing and many accessories over the years. Three days ago I rang the Norwich shop 6 times to try and arrange a bike repair and service and each time I got a recorded message to call back and couldn’t leave a message. Tiring of this I used their email service to the workshop to set out what I wanted and to book in, requesting a call back. Here I am, still waiting, so have booked in elsewhere and will not be returning. A great shame for them as I will be looking to add another new bike to my ‘fleet’ before next spring and will not be using them in future. Really annoying and frustrating when you cannot contact anyone and there is no customer service at all. I know bike shops are very busy but even if they had answered the phone or replied to the email saying they are very sorry but they can’t help at present I would understand.

Karl, Thank you for your response. Whilst appreciating the difficulties caused by the virus I would respectfully suggest that instead of constantly getting the recorded message to call back when phoning that the opportunity is given to leave a message with an explanation that it may take a little while to get back to the caller because of xxxxx.
With regard to the email, firstly I think you may be confusing me with someone else. I have not made any orders in March and had no email communication with you earlier this year. Secondly, you ask about my email earlier this month (to which I have still had no reply) and as I said in the original review I used the email facility form to the Norwich workshop on your website and had an online acknowledgment pop up so you should have had it otherwise something is wrong with your systems.
Anyway you have responded which is good and perhaps lessons will be learned. I was more than a little annoyed and surprised at the time hence my review which is still accurate and factual.

Update: Here we are early Aug and still no response. As I thought the reply on Trustpilot was just to make it seem that they care and to look better for the public looking through the reviews.

I am very sorry to hear this.
As a local independent business we are working really hard to maintain the service and hospitality levels you expect from us however at the moment we have unprecedented levels of self-isolating which means many of our team are trying to work from home which is why we are struggling to answer your calls.
I am surprised about your comments on email as I'm particular about ensuring all my emails are answered within 24 hours (even if it's to say that we are very busy and will get back to you later).
The last email I had from you was in reply to your customer rewards notification where you asked about your order that I replied to on 05/03. You then replied later that day (at 10:38am) to say thank you.
Have you sent other contact and if so can you tell me what email it went to so I can investigate?

Ordered a bike they had in stock

Ordered a bike they had in stock. Waited to find out if what it said on website was accurate.
Paid for bike on line.
Require detailed receipt which I don't have un less I'm missing something. One item ordered was on backlog, haven't heard otherwise.

Happy customer

I picked up my bike recently. I am well pleased with the bike. The staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They made the new bike day enjoyable despite the difficulties imposed by covid. The included bike fit carried out by Kate has certainly helped my comfort on the bike and confirmed my previous bike was too large for me. I don't get tingly hands anymore..I hope to return soon and have the check over service

I wanted to make a purchase in the gorleston store and unfortunately it was out of stock told none available then went home and ordered from the Norwich branch as one was in stock and had it delivered to gorleston
