I've always found the website and software navigation to be quite confusing, and the prices are twice as high as elsewhere. I can think of few reasons to buy games here, they really need to catch up. At least they don't make it difficult to play games purchased elsewhere.

I own 2000+ games on Steam, never hada problem with them, if a game doesn't work it's easy to get your money back.

Convenient, specials all the time, never had issues with any purchase or code activation, their refund policy works awesome and the amount of download centers they have across the world, makes downloading fast for most regions. Only reason this isn't five stars is, they have a very crummy attitude about who your paid games belong to, if you should pass, answer being no one. No one can claim your library.

Steam doesn't support my local currency. and instead i have to use euros.

something when wrong after i payed online on there website. almost 2 months now terrible customer service acting like i need to fix there problem and asking for information that doesnt exist.
no problem if there's a bug on your webshop but fix it or give my money back. Paying and getting nothing in return is what we call stealing. what a scam company

The refund period could be a bit longer, but I quite like Steam itself. The launcher works well and updates my games perfectly.

I bought a lot of games from Steam but the quality of the games has always had good sales! When I bought a bundle of Tomb Raider games, the price was like less than 20 dollars. I love that. You don't get that kind of pricing in Xbox or Sony online stores. One of the main reasons why I don't play consoles all the time anymore. Steam is indeed the best!

For anyone interested in steam gift cards, STAY FAR FAR AWAY! They have screwed me out of hundreds of dollars on their supposed "gift cards". I've bought them both from their official online site and legitimate local brick and mortar retailers and have had them sell me the cards only to find out they've already been redeemed even though they haven't even been scratched off and are activated in the retailers' systems. They don't even have a customer service center or number, only an email and that should be considered an unethical business practice as well as not issuing another code that IS valid or a refund of the full purchase amount. Instead, they choose to ignore customer complaints. I've wasted my last amount you. Let's see you handle having the federal trade commission breathing down your collar.

The support for steam is really terrible, impossible to reach the support and they do not want to help.
Hopefully there will be a good competitor soon.

Sells/serves illegal games concerning gambling while the age restrictions can easily be conceived.
Has a toxic community with friends/financial policy giving certain members more priviliges than the others while support NEVER EVER responds to any report.
Not even when your game doesn't work, I have several games not working, bought for nothing, thanks to steam.
Or games priviliges/DLC's I bought before that suddenly have been seperated from core game but none access for me. No response from support..

Been a looong time customer for this platform for years and its always been an amazing experience. Easy to navigate on community, searching for games and profile customization. Usually, the only thing that bothers me a bit is return policies but compared to other places I've used, theirs is straightforward and more far. The application on PC and chat messaging on smartphone can be a bit buggy at times though.
Also love that they have gift cards at a ton of stores cause I dislike the use of a credit card online. Overall, Steam is amazing!

Steam don’t help the costumers. As long they get there money the don’t care about their customers or products.
They will delete a game you paid for and they don’t answer your questions.
Never gonna use steam again!

I love the steam store, sales are always reasonable, launcher usually doesn't cause any problems except sometimes my card will randomly decline.
