Exactly what I expected. If you buy these chutes expecting you chuck down sharp stuff like tiles or slates then they won't last 5 minutes, and shouldn't be advertised as being able to take them, slightly thicker than the material that makes up ton bags.

But if you've had to chop off loads of old plaster, have off cuts of boards, or bagged ect ("softer" stuff basically) then its perfect. A lot quicker and cheaper than dropping all the stuff out via rope and tub of carrying stuff down 3 flights of stairs. Half filled a 8 yarder no sign of tears yet, so shall have to see how long it lasts.

Labourer was off so on my own to make up 4 sections, tie it to a bar fixed to a window frame and skip about 45 mins, plus a bit of tweeking where it drops out the frame, used a tough tub with the bottom cut off as a hopper

At its best when pretty much vertical. When used at anything more than a very slight deviation from the vertical it tends to block and to burst its joints.

The rubble chute turned up quickly, it works perfectly, and is really easy for one person to set up and use, as advertised.

It should read no stars for roofers this absolutely useless. It split on the first drop not worth a penny.yYour reply states that I am not telling the whole story ! It arrived a week late which is no use in the building industry. You sell this product to roofers stating that it's good for roofing tiles !!! Well it certainly isn't my guy's dropped a few tiles down and it tore immediately ! useless. Now they have stalled all the way and will not refund how pathetic will have to go back to our credit card company. Zero stars infact it's caused so much hassle it's rubbish.

Product was supplied quickly and we have used a 4 section setup very successfully on a 3rd floor flat project. Its weight and ease of use made the potentially complex waste removal much simpler and still maintained a safe working area.

Looking for a brick and rubble chute or something enable a speedy and safe way to take away a large and very tall Chimney via a hired narrow Tower Platform.

Found the Stortslurf product from an online search which looked the easiest and best value product...had left it a bit late to be honest but they claim delivery will be in 48 hrs - checked with them and they followed through the delivery and so I had it delivered the day before I ended to go to the project and do the work.

Excellent product....so easy to fit (took less than 5 minutes to put together) and use and we removed the chimney in a few hours rather than two days if we had used buckets or any other method of material removal.

So excellent and very much appreciated product.

Great price, kit and delivery this transaction would have been 5 stars if the assembly instruction leaflet enclosed in the box ad been in English not Dutch.

I ordered 2 sections of the chute and the top plastic feeder for it. Unfortunately only the 2 chute sections arrived so sent an email, they apologised fot the mistake and quickly sent the top feeder.
The chute worked well, we were using it to strip off a slate roof. It does now have some damage to chute section because of the slate ripping it, but it served its purpose well and is cheaper and easier than the plastic chutes. I will just price in a couple of chute sections on each job. I would imagine it may last longer with just brick rubble and you may get multiple uses from it. Good product
