It is a great company. and an opportunity to tell your stories to pass down to your family. Not only do they give you question to help your memory, but you also can make your own question depending on what you want to say. Plus you are able to send you story to anyone you would like by email. Best of all at the end you can have a beautiful book printed out to keep.

Receiving a Storyworth subscription was one of the best gifts I have received. While I do not enjoy writing, Storyworth’s targeted questions, organization, and easy-to-use format made the process simple. The finished book is a quality product and a treasure to hand down for generations.

format easy and several questions to pick

My son gifted me the Storyworth ‘challenge’ as a Christmas present this past year. At first I thought it to be difficult to accomplish and of little interest to anyone. But, I accepted the task and tackled the first question; apparently with some success. My wife, children and grandchildren all found my story telling interesting and encouraged me to continue.
Because the winter was unusually cold and the nights equally as long, I found myself engaged in reliving people, places and things I had long forgotten.

I was very pleased with the color and size of the photos. The book turned out well.

As Duke Ellington once said, “I don’t need time, I need a deadline.” I had been wanting to pass on life experiences to our children and grandchildren for many years. I’ve even bought beautiful books to fill out- all stored under our bed. But getting a weekly prompt of questions selected by our daughters was an easy, enjoyable way to finally record some memories. Adding photos inspired me to delve into the drawers and albums, reliving memories as I found - sometimes for the first time- a visual to accompany a story (and do some organizing!). The three months between the last prompt and deadline for publication was adequate for completion. The finished product is beautiful!

Book arrived earlier than expected well packed

I have so much fun reminiscing and writing my stories, Storyworth makes it easy and I appreciate the encouragement emails after posting each story.
One thing I have wondered is what will the final page look like? Will it be the same margin widths and font size as edit mode or as it appears once my story is submitted? Also, I find it difficult to size pictures equally. Does that need to done prior to importing them into the story?

Storyworth has been a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to write and this gift from our children allowed me to do that. Storyworth has been there through the whole process and as I near the completion of my stories, I will say I never felt alone knowing I just had to reach out to Storyworth. If I had questions or needed advice, I just had to send an email and the answer/help came within the same day. As I near the end of my journey with Storyworth I want to thank you for being there for me through this experience when I needed support or reassurance. The email prompts made telling my story so much easier

Fun process. Wrote about things I haven't even thought of in decades.

Just the whole concept is fantastic and makes you think about your life etc.
Everything has been great , I have been telling everyone about this .

The questions keep you on track to finish your story, or each volume. They were fun and serious too. I am hoping this book will allow my grandchildren to keep memories of me when they are older.

It helps to bring back memories from 50 to 80 years ago. Life was so different back then.

Really a great experience

Storyworth encourages memoir and personal writing in a way which is accessible and fun. The prompts are useful and thoughtful, so, of course your personal stories address topics perhaps never before discussed in your family….which means family members will know so much more about you. And the whole process inspires thoughtful dialogue among people close to you and who know you well. Give it a go!!!!!
