I recommend making this stoveguard model as a one piece. I understand why it was 3 pieces because of the ridges/ribs in between the burners, but I think there can be a design change that would fill th... See more

Do Not Buy
I placed my order with Stove Guard on November 18, 2025. I followed up in early January to check on the status of my order and received an email acknowledging the delay and expressing gratitude for my patience.
I was satisfied and hopeful that the product would arrive soon. However, I received it on January 30, 2026, and was disappointed to find it of poor quality. I contacted Stove Guard to express my concerns about the material’s quality, and they informed me that the original material was out of stock. They had switched to a new material and expressed confidence in its durability.
Unfortunately, my concerns were not unfounded. When I spilled hot, salted water on the mat, the material deteriorated, and I noticed red-hot burning at the edges.
I called Stove Guard again to complain and request a refund. They informed me that since the order was past the 14-day money-back period, I would not be eligible for a refund. They offered to send me a replacement mat, but I declined and reiterated my request for a refund. They refused.
I have taken pictures of the damaged mat and will post them to warn others about this product and prevent them from making the same mistake. Do not buy their products.
Unreal
Unreal. This product took several months to be delivered and I kept getting a song and dance when I inquired as to when it would be delivered. No commitment, just song and dance. When we finally got it and installed it on our new Wolf cooktop, the holes were uneven around the burners. Embarrassing to have that type of product on a high quality cooktop. First time using it, it CAUGHT FIRE! Thankfully, we had not walked away or we might have had our brand new kitchen go up in flames!
Never received my purchase
Never received my purchase. I ordered a 3D stove protector on 12/1/2025 - cost almost $276 after discount. 1/12/2026 I wrote to them asking for updates. On 1/13/26 I got a response that looked like an automatic response saying my order is in production and is where it should be in the production stage and that I need do nothing else.
1/26/26 I got an automatic email saying the same thing as above.
2/18 I ask them again what happened to my order now that it's been 2.5 months. 2/20, I get response that due to receiving more orders than anticipated, there is a delay.. again seems to be written by a bot.
2/25 after I told them I was going to dispute charge through my bank, I got another bot message saying disputes could take up to 75 days and during this time no refunds, shipments or replacements can take place.
I don't care at this point because it's been almost 3 months since I first made my order and all I've gotten are bots responding to me to placate me. March 6 - my bank resolves the dispute and I get my $ back.
Seriously - Stoveguard has no business selling a product they don't even have and can't produce in a timely manner. On top of that - if you have to utilize a generic bot response then that tells me you don't even have enough staff to deal with customer service or production issues. Really disappointed. I had ordered an older product from them before and it works fine which is why I gave them more leeway, but 3 months plus is not okay..
Bought a Stoveguard Pro for a new Bosch…
Bought a Stoveguard Pro for a new Bosch gas stove. Within a week the center portion of the matt caught fire and belched a cloud of whit noxious smoke throughout hte kitchen. Luckily both my wife and I were in the kitchen and we were able to smother the fire quickly. DO NOT BUY THESE OVERLY EXPENSIVE, DANGEROUS PIECES OF PLASTIC THAT COUD POTENTIALLY BURN YOUR HOUSE TO THE GROUND!
I ordered a Stove Guard Pro six weeks…
I ordered a Stove Guard Pro six weeks ago and, so far, the experience has been extremely frustrating due to the lack of transparency and communication.
When placing the order, there was no indication that the product is manufactured only after an order is placed or that the wait time could be several months. The only notification I received later was that the item was out of stock. Unless a customer takes the extra step of emailing the company, there is no way to know what is actually going on with the order.
I have now sent three separate emails asking for an update. Each time I receive essentially the same response—that the process is “on track.” However, no one provides any meaningful information about when the product will actually ship or arrive.
Honesty and transparency with consumers are extremely important, and that is not what is happening here. I’m sure the company has estimates for how long this process typically takes, especially if these units are made to order. That information should be clearly stated before customers purchase the product so they can make an informed decision.
The situation creates the impression that the long wait times are not disclosed upfront because many people would likely reconsider placing an order if they knew it could take months. After experiencing this myself, I started reading reviews and found many other customers describing the same issue.
At this point, the biggest problem isn’t just the delay—it’s the lack of clear communication. Customers deserve straightforward information about production timelines and realistic delivery expectations.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. This is really a case of caveat emptor. They send you a piece of plastic with poorly cut holes. They refuse to refund you all the money—these are over $100. They’ll give you a refund minus $15 and shipping if you cut up the mat. So not even environmentally and economically sensible. I would find another company. I bet anyone with some tools could make one that’s better.

I don't recommend StoveGuard PRO which cost almost $300 but still doesn't fit my model. There are 2 holes which is opened too big, and the return still cost me shipping fee and a custom design fee of $15 USD.

I ordered their modular stove guard for my GE 5-burner gas stove in October 2025, but after waiting four months with no delivery by the end of January, I had to cancel the order and request a refund.
I placed an order 5 months ago and…
I placed an order 5 months ago and still have not received product. Repeatedly contacted company and they stated they are overwhelmed with orders. About a month ago I received a tracking number. Tracking number shows no shipment. Stove Guard stated they create a tracking number during their processing. Have requested a refund and waiting
Ordered in November
Ordered in November. Had trouble getting answers when the product would be shipped, so I told them to cancel my order. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Pretty amazing the day after I faxed my dispute to my bank, the product was magically being processed and on its way. I told them to cancel, I still want nothing to do with product.
1 month to send the wrong product
It took 1 month for this company to send the wrong product. When I called to inform them they sent the wrong product they asked me to send pictures. 5 days later they emailed "We've confirmed that the design you've received is correct for your stove model". It is clearly not the correct one. I did verify I ordered the correct one and my stove matched the picture online. The one they sent did not fit my stove or match the picture online. They said the openings should fit snug on the risers not the burners. All sit snug on the riser except the back left. I need to figure out how to attach pictures. Someone there did not look at the pictures I sent or did not want to admit they sent the wrong one. Also please note they will try to charge you a $15 design fee to be subtracted from your refund. They refunded the full amount but I'm not sure if that is because I said I would dispute the charge with my credit card since they sent the wrong product.
Doesn't stand behind it's product.
This company does not stand behind the products. I emailed the company when my stove protector began to wave and wouldn't lie flat. I bought my 1st stove protector from them about 6 years and it held up great. I bought another one as my first one was looking a little worn. This product is NOTHING like the first one. I feel the product is inferior and began getting bumpy and wavy right away. I complained to the company since I had bought it on Amazon, and I was sent a replacement. This one did the same thing. I emailed again and they would not do anything for the defective product. They didn't even want a pic to see what I was trying to tell them. I'm switching to Stove Shield.
More cooking debris both food and oil…
More cooking debris both food and oil gets under the product made by Stoveguard then not having one. Product does not lay flat!
Took over 2 months to arrive, and didn't ship until i disputed with my credit card.
TL;DR: The product seems fine, but definitely overpriced, took over 2 months to arrive and they didn't ship it until I disputed the charge with my credit card because I started to think the whole thing was a scam. Their customer service is terrible and I would NOT recommend dealing with this company in any way.
----
I ordered a 350 dollar stove guard pro on November 10, 2025. They charged me immediately, but as soon as the order went thru, I get an automatic email saying the item is on backorder (there was no indication of this on the website or checkout page). After a couple weeks with no updates, I emailed asking for a status update and just get a generic response saying it "is custom made and takes some time". No specifics. No updates. A few weeks later I get an email saying it shipped, but the status of the shipping tracking doesn't update for a week. So I email them again, and the response is "this is normal, you'll get an email when it actually ships". Finally, I hit the 2 month mark waiting with still no updates, and so I email them again asking for a specific lead time. The response I get is "typically 6-8 weeks, but we apologize that yours is taking longer".
Since their website does not specify anything about lead times or back orders and their customer service person just wrote back generic responses to every inquiry I sent with still no tangible updates, I filed a dispute with my credit card because it started to feel like I had been scammed. Conveniently, the day after I filed the dispute, I got an email from the customer service person helping me that the item had shipped and that now I wasn't eligible for returns or warranty.
The item finally arrived on January 20, 2026. That's more than two months later. It seems to be fine, but overpriced.
I am not naive. I know that things have lead times. All I wanted from the very beginning was a realistic time frame of when to expect the item, which was not given during the checkout process, is not available on their website, and was not given to me after many emails asking for updates to their customer service. If I was on the checkout page and it told me "this item typically ships in 6-8 weeks", I would have still ordered it and been fine with the experience. Instead, it felt like a scam. Telling me that I am no longer eligible for returns just felt like pettiness when I only filed the dispute because the experience gave every red flag of a scam.
Finally got my Stove Guard Pro on…
Finally got my Stove Guard Pro on January 14. Ordered on December 12. Put it in place a few days ago. My wife boiled a small pot of veggies this morning and when she removed the pot there was white ash on the stove top and grate. The Stove Guard has actually started burning!! It didn’t flare up but had a burned area about 3” around one side and left a pile of white ash in the area!!! I’ve emailed the company and included photos so we’ll see where this goes….
Update on 2/2/26.... I sent photos and an explanation and the company returned my money back into my credit card account within several days. For that, I applaud them. However, they never explained anything about the product failure....oh well.
never arrived
never arrived. no updates on availability. contacted multiple times response was back ordered will ship soon … no production date estimate etc .. never shipped or updated on status . cancelled order
Finally used product, oh dear???
1/20/26 Update: Finally cooked with the new Stoveguard pro in place, boiling water for noodles. Trouble. First smoke/C02 detectors went off. Didn’t see any obvious smoke or burning from the range. After sending my wife to look for trouble around the house, then I checked the stove more closely. There was a white smoke residue on the pot and burner grates. The Stoveguard itself was actually on fire in a couple spots around the burner. I removed the pot and blew out the fire. There was white chalky ash in the burnt area of the Stoveguard. Worried about the invisible fumes that set off the smoke detector. This is our second Stoveguard. The first was their basic model and it worked well for 3 years, but gradually warped over time. This burning model will be going back and I’ll try a competitor this time.
1/17/26 Updated review: Three stars. Finally received pro product on Jan 16th. We’ll see how it performs and I’ll update again then. At least I wasn’t scammed. The company needs to change their online order system to give a realistic expectation of how long it will take to get the pro product. I guess they farm out this product and it was delayed as well as an already long process. If they don’t set a reasonable expectation you are going to get horrible reviews when the confirmation says 10 days and nothing is received for 2 months. And don’t leave your customers in the dark.
1/7/2026 NEGATIVE STARS, Do not buy from this company.. Took my money and vanished. Responses to email inquiries have all said 8 to 10 days, I think automated. That was 60 DAYS AGO. No response to calls or call backs. I would cancel if I could talk to anyone, I have my doubts if this company is still in business. Too bad cause they used to have a good product. This would have been my second purchase, now I’m afraid I’ve been scammed $170 bucks.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have ordered before and was satisfied. I recently ordered a new cover and realized the same day it was not the same model so i got in touch and asked to cancel the order. They did not get to my request and sent anyway. I said i would keep if they could offer a discount. They said 20.00 on an order over 130.00. Awful customer service. The email after that was just pay you bill basically. I will not refer anyone else again nor will i ever order from them again. They are not inexpensive and they could have and should have done more.
Significantly delayed shipping - buyer beware
I ordered a Stove Guard stove protector on October 30th 2025 thinking i would receive it in time for Thanksgiving. I contacted their customer support on November 19th asking for a status update and was told shipping was slightly delayed but I should expect my order to be shipped within the next 7-14 days. It is now December 10th and I still haven't received my order nor have they provided any additional update on my order status. I would not recommend this company based on my initial experience.
Buyer Beware!
Beware: Lots of issues with this company that I should have paid attention to. As others have noted, the quality of mine is not as advertised, turns up from the heat of the burners. Takes weeks if not months to receive. In my experience this isn’t a company to trust with your money.
