A good company plagued by bad couriers
I don't want to bash Straight2Site, because they were good dealing with my order (my first with them). Unfortunately though, the order turned out to be a complete disaster. To begin with, the order was processed and despatched with no fuss, prices are good and all seemed well.
What followed from here was a trail of errors and a complete lack of action by the delivery company.
To begin with, half the order never arrived. A couple of days later, the courier admitted it was lost and Straight2Site sent replacements on a premium service. You've guessed it.. the next-day, AM service arrived 2 days later at 4pm, was beaten up and missing parts.
Again, Straight2Site apologised and have sent out more replacements.. hopefully they'll arrive intact!
I'm grateful for the service from Straight2Site, and I do feel sorry for them having to sort out stuff like this. I got lots of apologies, I got a refund for the cost of shipping, and for a couple of damaged parts.
If you look at the (few) negative reviews on here, they all share a common theme - delivery problems!
Ultimately, the delivery company is representing you, especially when one of your key selling points is next-day delivery, and when they are as bad as the delivery company in question.. that can only ever ruin customer experience.
So, again, thanks to Straight2Site for the support and for the quick service.. your courier is a disaster. I'm going to need more things when I come to lay the floor slabs, so I'll be back.. I just hope the overall experience is better next time around!
