Very Poor Service

Several times could not make calls. I switched to consumer cellular on 3-4 26 and on 3-6 the next day straight talk drafted another month after was already with consumer cellular. I tried calling for a refund and the call was answered by AI. It was hell getting to speak to a real person even then I didn't get help. So they actually stole a month from me. I would never recommend this company

I needed my phone unlocked to swap carriers. They want unlock it. It's a dam prepaid phone not like money is owed on it. But they want unlock it. But I'm changing carriers anyway and now they lost my wife and my kids service

Straight talk is full of crap

Straight talk is full of crap. When you pay for a refillable card in the store. They make sure that its non refundable. I spent $114.00 on 2 $55.00 refillable cards. Come to find out the card pins are NOT VALID. Spoke no messaged a customer service rep. I'm grateful for her patience but it was a waste of both of our time. She could not do anything about it nor refund anything. Please pick a different service for your child or family member. It is NOT worth the hassle.

Crap customer service

I have just spent over 4 hours with 5 different agents due to my phone just suddenly not working anymore. round and round and round. nobody knows what they're doing, they're just going by a certain process that may work if it is something really simple, but does not do anything if it is any deeper than that.

When it works, it is ok service, but if something goes wrong, best to throw them out and move on to someone else.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! Don’t buy this phone even if you cancel with them they still keep charging you and then say there’s nothing they can do. I couldn’t remember my pin from when I used it for an emergency for 3 days while I got my AT&T phone and tried to restart it for someone else later that needed a phone and they could not help me even if I gave the IME number but charged me again to start up service and kept charging me even after there’s was nothing they could help me with and I ended up throwing phone away. Couldn’t reimburse me because they said they couldn’t find my account which is a lie because they are charging me. Horrible Service!!! Buy another phone. Read reviews everybody says the same thing!!!

I have NEVER

I have NEVER, EVER, had such a hard time trying to get phone time in my LIFE!!! Straight Talk. Change the way you do things. You make it impossible for anyone to get any phone time without practically killing yourself. This process is just ridiculous and I for one are through with you. I will not recommend to anyone to deal with this. Too much trouble. I'd have an easier time going through Hell than to deal with this. Your system sucks. Change it or you will go out of business. PERIOD!!

The WORST service ive ever had

The WORST service ive ever had. It will completely take my service and I have to reboot my phone to get my signal back. It says "5g plan!" But im usually on 4g. Not only that but it is so hard to understand their technical support and its not user friendly. Their AI for their phone plan is r****ded and when you try to call tech support it tells you that it found the problem with your service and tells you to reboot your phone even when youre not calling about that. It can be completely misleading and difficult. Their plans arent meant for teenagers using their phone for gaming or social media. It will lag you out within 10 minutes of playing. I live in a brick house and i thought it was going to be fine but even when im near a window or outisde it still doesnt work like its SUPPOSED to. They dont fix anything that NEEDS to be fixed. I use mobile Hotspot and when ive used it all up, if its close enough to my end date, ill re-up my service and get more! But this time when I went to do that it didnt work. I cant use anything to get my school work done and not only that but they have NO benefits. No cool phone updates no cool gadgets that comes along with the service. Literally all they have is terrible service, bad mobile Hotspot, awful video quality, terrible game lag, awful technical support, unhonest price plans, and TERRIBLE coverage. I cant switch to Verizon or anything else until I move out so im stuck with this bullsh*t.

Bought a small Hotspot for the grandkid…

Bought a small Hotspot for the grandkid could watch TV at bedtime. 50.00 for the device and a 50.00 activation card. They can't get the Hotspot to work. The wifi option on the TV won't even pick it up and it's 4ft away. Customer service is shit. I'm pissed that I spent 100 bucks on garbage.

Affordability attached to a headache!

Straight talk phones are extremely cheap and work just like any other phone.THATS IT!!!! Their customer service agents act completely slow and ignorant. Every single month it's time to pay my phone bill, the app starts problems preventing me from paying my bill. I've tried to enroll in auto pay to fix this issue but even their auto pay doesn't work!! Then, I call their customer service line to pay my bill and the agents take forever to complete that! They always apologize for technical issues EVERY MONTH. Bill pay day is always stressful and annoying!!!

Don't use Straight Talk ! They will control and stauk yr Usage!!

Had Straight Talk for 3 1/2 years, bought a newer Moto G from them, activated it in Jan. Feb 15th go to pay bill & paid extra month in advance. I sent out a bunch of Valentine's Day text cards to all people in My Contacts and on the 16th ST deactivated my phone saying I was a scammer!! They not only turned off my service they made it so my phone could not be transfered to another provider !!! Spent 3 days for hours getting them to turn my phone back on and they turned it on & then Off Tuesday. More hours with Risk & Fraud 🤥 department and had to wait till Wednesday am to spend more time getting them to turn it back on.. Was told to put a person's name 📛 in each text !!!! And not to do Group Texts which I have same small Prayer text chain ⛓️ Groups for decades ! And not to talk on the phone for more than a hour !!!! Unlocked my phone 🤳🏼 will transfer to another carrier !!! SO frustrated

Cheap as in bad

Their customer service is nearly useless. I called to correct the contact phone number they had for me, and they gave me a new Straight Talk number instead. They emailed me a link to a survey about my order, and it didn’t even go to the right site. Their low price is not worth it.

This company is horrible do not use Straight talk

This company is horrible. The customer service is non existent. The agents turned my cellular network off multiple times because I called everyday for 3 months about my data not working. I was told it was because my new phone I bought was bad. They told me they sent me a new one.... They lied. The agents don't know anything and will tell you they are not allowed to access Straight talk policies or rules. The agents will not allow you to speak to a supervisor they put you on hold for 50 minutes and then hang up on you. It's Verizon Support. I will never use Verizon based off of the horrible service and awful customer service I received from Straight talk. Straight talk does a lot of illegal things. Just another law suit for a horrible company. Oh not to mention they sell your information.

Major Deceit

First, they were double dipping into my account when I had autopay on. After a year I realized and it as investigated and proven true. I was refunded but still criminal minded practice by a corporation. THEN I just discovered that because I discontinued autopay because of that, they were sneaky and sending notification texts claiming I need to refill or Id lose service on a certain date. WHich I did but realized that it was getting sooner and sooner each month. I called and they acknowledged (like hand in cookie jar) that they owed me a week of service. Then a few days later I chose a supposedly better plan with unlimited hot spot and there was this 5Guw service. However the hotspot is NOT 5Guw....or even 5G for that matter, its 4G with 5 MBPS HOTSPOT!!!!! GARBAGE and sneaky deception yet again. Im so tired of these predatory companies trying to squeeze every dime out of people and then doing so in frauduelent or criminal ways.
