This company doesn't know how to fix simple problems. Every month they shut off my phone off, even tho I am enrolled in auto payment because they can't fix something on their end. When I check my das... See more

Purchased a Samsung Galaxy A17
Purchased a Samsung Galaxy A17. Did the data transfer. Everything worked fine rest of day and evening. Woke up next day and phone needed a lock screen code in order to access anything on it. I never set that up on my new phone and any old phone that I've had I've also never had a lock screen code. I called CS and she repeatedly wanted me to remember what I had entered as a screen lock code, to the point I got very angry with her. She continued to accuse me of forgetting what it was. She said she could only do a factory reset or I could enter the code I forgot. I asked for a Supervisor. After about 5 minutes a man got on the phone. He was very abrupt, did the same accusations. It was textbook reading. I finally agreed to do the factory reset. So he put the original female back on phone. She came back on the line and was very snarky. She told me to power off the phone. I asked her if she knew how to do that. She told me to hold volume down button down and the power button. I told her no, that doesn't turn it off, it just reboots it. Continued to argue with me. Then she asks me how much battery is left. Tells me I have to wait until the battery is dead before I can do a factory reset then. Common sense would tell you that you can't do anything with a phone if the battery is dead. I told her she needs to go back into her manuals and learn how to do it bc there is absolutely no way that what she is saying will work. I was extremely angry at this point bc of the ignorance and lack of basic knowledge. I hung up on her, googled "how do I do a factory reset to on a locked screen of a Samsung Galaxy. The information came right up, I did exactly what it said to do. Took me all of 1 minute to locate. The incompetence of these foreign call center employees is ridiculous. And the language barrier doesn't help.
I'm not sure how this company stays in…
I'm not sure how this company stays in business. There are way too many hoops to jump through to activate service. This will be temporary. I refuse to do business with a company that cares so little about their customers.
I wouldve left 0 stars if I could
I wouldve left 0 stars if I could. I had to contact customer service nearly every time I wanted to connect. My device said I used 47 go out of 100 and she kept saying the only reason it wouldnt connect is if I used it all and I kept saying how much the device said I used. Completely ridiculous
Do I have to give the star?
Do I have to give the star?? Straight talk is a joke! Was with them 12 years and idk what happened but the customer service makes me want to jump out of a plane without a parachute!! 10/10 DO NOT SUGGEST
Worst customer service
Worst customer service. It took two days to get my phone activated. Then my phone was randomly shut off. I was on the phone with them for 1 hr and 45 mins and still no resolve or resolution.
Getting customer service is almost…
Getting customer service is almost impossible. Please do not use this plan!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ‼️‼️‼️
I've been with Straight Talk for about 8 years but recently..the service has been horrible ‼️Twice they disconnected my service in the MIDDLE of the month without any notifications stating that I had too many texts messages. Mind you that I pay for unlimited talk and text. I couldn't log into my account no matter how many times I tried. So I paid my money for a full month of service but only was able to utilize HALF of the month ‼️ So I decided to NOT renew and I switched to another company... T-Mobile. I wouldn't recommend Straight Talk to ANYONE ANYMORE ‼️‼️‼️
They change my plan without my…
They change my plan without my authorization, called In to switch to a new phone because mine was broken. First thing guy does is try to sell me a higher data plan.. unacceptable I called to get help not be thrown a sales pitch. I had to call in to get my account info the guy actually asked me how much I'm paying for another company. Not cool having some foreigner I could barely understand asking me about my personal life that wasn't focused on straight talk. To add insult to injury I double and triple checked all my info including requesting a new ntp and the port to boost still failed I had to request another ntp. Horrible experience and straight talk throttles data speeds

Phone was off for 6 days and when I tried to pay, someone else has my number... I had this number for awhile now... I'm pissed
WORST SERVICE EVER
I had bought the yearly plan because I got decent service even on my drive through smaller towns. Ever since the Verizon towers went down a little over a month ago, service has been AWFUL! I mostly have 0 to 1 bars on a 45 minute trip to work now. I will not be renewing and will be switching to Cricket. I do not recommend this service to anyone.
Piss poor customer service
Great service…. Horrible customer service. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in life when u have to call in. They literally keep you on the phone for hours for things you be on the phone with other companies for for 5 mins. They speak horrible to little English. I had to switch the last rep between my phone, to speaker, to AirPods, to my car to attempt to hear anything she was saying and then there was still the language barrier. Very poor training… I’ve been on the phone for a hour and 20 mins and they still can’t resolve a simple issue. They refuse to put you on the phone with a supervisor to make the experience better. It’s just terrible. I’ve been with them for 9 years and I will not be renewing for next month.
Just give me a phone number to call…
Just give me a phone number to call where the system knows my ongoing plan based on my telephone number and let me pay for it that way and if I have issues allow me to speak to a HUMAN representative without going through a million hoops and trying to upsell me.
I'm not doing it on a website that asks for a BUNCH of personal information that the company doesn't even need and probably sells. I'm not installing the app on my phone that I only use for calls and infrequent internet browsing. And there's no way I'm enrolling in auto-pay seeing as people have had a lot of issues with it and getting to a human to help solve problems is something the company clearly doesn't want.
The system just made me go through the same menu FOUR TIMES to solicit plans that were NOT MINE before it allowed me to talk to a human. You really cannot call this customer service when the system's designed to prioritize the needs of the company.
The only reason this is a two-star instead of a one-star review is that I like them using Verizon towers because it works far better in my area.
Customer service
Worst customer service they took 70.71 from my card. Renewed my plan then took it back. And the rep was very rude about it. No refund. And the when call in you have to talk to the machine for almost 30 minutes before you get a rep. It's very frustrating. M
How can I give 0 stars
How can I give 0 stars? Horrible. I’m very disappointed. Do not waste your time and energy and money on this Scam!
Absolutely the worst service provider
Absolutely the worst service provider I have ever used. 4 calls and 1 hour and 27 minutes later and everybody gives a different answer, all of them is from India, its actually so sad to struggle like this with straight talk.
Phone got stolen
Phone got stolen. I reported it stolen. Someone started reactivating the phone and charging my account $60 after reporting it stolen 2 days before. Customer service laughed and hung up on me. Do not use this carrier if thinking about it.
worst company EVER
This has been the worst company I ever went through I’ve had nothing but issues and troubles from starting services I hate this service and wouldn’t tell anybody to try this again
DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH STRAIGHT TALK.
Purchased phone and plan (from Walmart) whilst visiting from overseas. Renewed for 1 month and phone died on day 33. Nothing at all, so we saw a Walmart and went in to seek help.
No refund, no help, nothing because it was over 30 days. So there we were in a city we don't know, in a country we don't know with no phone and no navigation and no help.
Straight talk got our $50 renewal and I cannot use the phone and no way to contact them at all. Thanks Straight talk - you have the worst business model and no service at all.
DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
FACT: Over 93% of reviews on Trustpilot are 1 star. Lowest Rating out of all Cell Phone Providers.
Simply the worst customer service I have ever dealt. No company is as bad as Straight Talk. Perhaps this is why over 93% of reviews on Trustpilot are 1 stars. This speaks volumes. I challenge anyone to find a company in any industry with worse reviews. Super long wait times and overseas customer service where there is a communication gap.
During busy times of the day the service is very slow. After I cancelled my old service they couldn't port my old number that I had for a decade. They may have great prices; however, you get what you pay for. Service is More Important than Product. With this being said, if you value good service, avoid Straight Talk.
I've been with straight talk for years
I've been with straight talk for years. I had decided to go with a different server. When calling straight talk to get the information, I needed to transfer both my phone numbers, my new Sim cards were on there way I paid the other company. Straight talk customer service made me a great offer to stay with them as a loyal customer, they would lower my cost to 15 per line per month gor 6 months, she said she could apply a $5 off cupon, it would be 10 per line plus a new phone. So I stayed went through the headache to cancel other server. My new phone didnt show up I called, I was told I had to buy a refill to get the phone. What the hell, I explained what I was told, pretty much sorry about your luck. The following month getting a refilling my plan charge me normal price. I ask them no its supposed to be 15 each line plus a 5 off coupon its supposed to be only 20 total. I was told we have no records showing or offer a loyal customer rewards. So I was lied to in order for me to stay with straight talk. I am considering suing for fraud, I have witness my 19 year old daughter listen to the whole conversation, between customer service and I. What they did was complete fraud. I am so tired of these big corporation screwing over people. Where is the loyalty, this was such a nitemare. If I could give a -0 stars I would. I do not recommend them, unless you like lying and misleading company, then you will love straight talk.
