First I booked with Street cars Airport because there cars are always very clean and no older than 3 years old,we were sent one from Street cars Stretford who I have used in the past and said that I would never use again as the cab was very dirty.
The driver already had something in the boot so couldn’t fit our two cases in so one had to go on the back seat next to my wife.
The car wasn’t clean and didn’t smell great either.
The driver was saying that he works seven days a week,the way he was driving it was as if he had already been on for 24hrs.
The car was making a very loud wheel bearing noise,in my view the car could do with more maintenance especially with having over 300,000 miles on it.
Can you please explain why we were sent a cab from Street cars Stretford?

When I called this taxi company, they said they could be there within 15 minutes, which I accepted. Sure enough, a car popped up on my phone almost immediately, it was 10 minutes away and I tracked it until it was 2 minutes away……… it then disappeared from the tracker!! A couple of minutes later, another car popped up, this time 17 minutes away and that eventually arrived and took my sister and myself back to my home. This was an unnerving experience for us, because this was after midnight on Sunday (so technically Monday 22nd) in Manchester Deansgate (we had missed the last tram home, after a Take That concert) we were 2 ladies in our 70s who are not used to being left in such a vulnerable position.

Was on time. Curteous, helpful and friendly.

Wayne at the Airport, I met him last month when my Wife landed at MAN and again when myself and my Wife landed at MAN yesterday.
Wayne represents exactly what Good Customer Service is ; polite,friendly,can do attitude and extremely professional.

It is a shame that the Streetcars Booth has been removed at MAN T2. I really urge for it to be brought back.

To have staff standing their whole shift,is not great from a wellbeing point of view. No matter how digital world gets,the human touch will always win when one needs help.

Very good experience

We had pre booked a taxi at terminal 3.We phoned when out with our luggage and told to walk to starbucks?we said we were at terminal 3 no starbucks.the operator said he would send a car and after ten minutes we phoned again and he said he was trying to allocate a car.we went and got a black cab which was very expensive.RUBBISH we will never use this company again as they are not to be trusted.

I used the app to pre-book my taxi to the airport. Abdi Awed Barud was on time but he didn't even greet me or get out of the car to help me with the 2 large suitcases that I had. I was travelling with my child who could not help me and I had an injured arm at the time too so I really struggled to get them in the boot. When I got in the car he asked me what terminal I was going to. I told him and then I was trying to tell him that I needed to go to a specific zone but as I was speaking he answered a call. He spoke on his call the whole way until the end when he briefly stopped to ask if I was going to terminal 1, which I wasn't. The fare was £24 so I passed him £25 in cash. He didn't even bother to say thank you, he just looked annoyed and mumbled something under his breath. On the way home I just booked an uber and not only was it a lot cheaper but the car was much nicer and the guy was way more friendly and helpful so it's safe to say I wont be using street cars again.
