This device made my 2 weeks of non weight bearing bearable! I could get around the house, put things in the basket to carry them from place to place and just generally be as normal as possible I would advise everyone to have one if you need to be non weight bearing!
Helen is lovely and understanding and very kind. I had to ring 3 times because I kept changing my mind about the dates and she was so nice about it
the delivery and collection are extremely easy and the strideon is easy to assemble and disassemble all 5 stars!

I can't praise both the knee rider or the company and people enough.
The amount of freedom to move around was great.
And the doctors and nurses at my fractures hospital were extreamly impressed with how easy and safe it was get around without puting any weight on my shattered ankle.

I recently had complex foot surgery and was non-weightbearing for 6 weeks. The knee scooter was a life saver to stay mobile outdoors, especially as we had a holiday planned two weeks after the surgery. Without the knee scooter, I would have not been able to join my husband and the dogs on their walks. Thankfully, the scooter made this possible, I couldn't even imagine doing much walking on crutches.
The customer service was excellent with effective communication and very clear instructions. While writing this, I am waiting for UPS to collect the scooter. Will be sad to see it go.
I can only recommend this to anyone who will be off their feet for any length of time.

A highly efficient company! Excellent customer service, emails answered politely and quickly and the whole process of hiring the knee scooter was so easy.
I chose to hire the Orthomate scooter following midfoot fusion surgery leaving me non weight bearing for 6 weeks.I mainly wanted to use it outdoors and for shopping etc. It was excellent for outdoors, being very stable and smooth, even managing a ride on the compacted sand of Pendine Beach. The basket was a bonus, and although Strideon probably dont recommend it, I even managed to carry shopping on it oops!
Although I was quite proficient on crutches, the difficulty is carrying things and tiring easily. I have a normal sized semi detached house but managed to use the scooter in between use of the crutches, for housework, washing and cooking. I would have struggled to complete many of the tasks without it.
It was invaluable and worth the reasonable hiring costs.
I work as a Registered Nurse on an elective orthopaedic ward. (Years of pounding wards has worn my feet out!) If the company would like to send me some advertising posters, I would be more than happy to put them up as I feel it would definitely be of benefit for some people.

Well it’s time for my stride on to go back having hired it for 7 weeks following a 6 weeks period of non bearing after foot reconstruction surgery . I will miss it as it gave me so much independence being able to cook and prepare food which would have been impossible with crutches on one leg . The customer service is excellent and are always at hand for any queries . I got many comments whilst at the hospital for appointments and have passed details on to patients who were interested in hiring one after their own surgery . A most important aid if you are non weight bearing and would recommend hiring one , it has kept me sane rather than sat for 6 weeks unable to do much .

A great little bit of kit, gave me independence and it was so good to take myself around , and not be wheeled in a chair . Good friendly company and great service. Got me noticed as well. !!

The knee walker is a great device which allowed my daughter to be mobile and independent both indoors and outside, far better than crutches. The delivery and return were both quick and easy. I strongly recommend this for anyone who has to be non weight bearing after injury or surgery

Following ankle surgery and faced with several weeks of non-weight bearing, I hired a StrideOn - the best decision I made! Crutches brought challenges to my balance and the ability to carry things during recovery, so the knee scooter allowed me independence and freedom to move around at home. These are brilliantly designed and packaged and I was so impressed with the speed of delivery to my front door. Retuning the scooter was easy and well organised. A great company and highly recommended product.

I recently used the Stride On knee walker after undergoing surgery for a Lisfranc foot fracture, and it has been a lifesaver! The knee walker provided excellent mobility during my recovery, allowing me to get around without putting any weight on my foot. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and much more comfortable than crutches, especially for longer distances. The padded knee rest offered great support, and the adjustable height made it easy to customize to my needs.
The steering is smooth, and I really appreciated the stability, particularly when navigating tight spaces. It was also compact enough to fit in a car, making it convenient for outings. Overall, the Stride On gave me back a sense of independence during a challenging time in my recovery. Highly recommend it for anyone recovering from foot or ankle surgery!

I purchased an Orthomate for planned foot and ankle reconstruction surgury. I have been NWB for 6 weeks and continue to use it outside. I am active but have balance issues secondary to a neurological condition so crutches are a non starter! This gave me so much independence and enabled me to carry things in the very handy basket. I can testify it is also very helpful 'off road ' . Just watch the mud on the tyres! It is very sturdy and I felt very safe using it. British engineering at its best!

I broke my ankle whilst on holiday and was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. This Stride On Knee Walker was amazing for me during this time. It gave me the freedom to move around my house with ease. With crutches you can't carry things around so the Knee Walker gave me that option, especially with the handy basket! I even managed to use it on a family weekend away which meant I wasn't relying on people to push me around in a wheelchair.
The company were amazing, so supportive and responsive. I highly recommend hiring one of these if you are ever in need.

This is a fantastic company offering a great service, which is convenient and good value for money. I hired a knee scooter for two weeks and it made a huge difference at a time I was practically immobile and it meant I could attend two family events, I would otherwise have missed. Thank you Strideon!! Madeleine Milnes from Wells

I have worked as a plaster technician and in orthopaedics for the last 20 years and have seen many people have to deal with mobility problems after lower limb procedures. Crutches and frames they find hard work with stability, there hands, wrists and shoulders. So when I had to have ankle fusion at the young age of 62, having suggested to many of my patients to use a stideon I'd better try one. I live on my own and I was told I had to be none weight bearing for at least 6 weeks. I phoned Strideon who were very helpful ordered, arranged delivery all with great ease. My Strideon arrived the day before my op, I set it up with very easy instruction even had a lovely basket on the front for easy carrying of small items it was very sturdy and strong. After the op used the strideon, what a game changer, I felt safe moving around, I had freedom, no bambi on ice with crutches, no shoulder strain, my family felt safe leaving me on my own and I had my independence. Strideon sent me an email when rental time was due, which I extended with ease as I needed. When I no longer needed it, I emailed sStrideon team, cleaned and packed it up ready for collection which again was hassle free. I would strongly recommend the Strideon
