Richard from Stumpbusters turned up on time, spent some time digging out very hard root systems and left a big rewarding pile of mulch to mark his work.

Peter from Yorkshire area arrived early, and got straight down to the job in hand.
Admittedly the "stump" was far larger than what I'd suggested as it was a huge root system (I nicknamed it the "anaconda") rather than a stump that only got realised as I tried to uncover it the day before but to his credit Peter simply got on with the job.I willingly paid him extra for the much larger job, I couldn't believe a stump could have such huge roots.
What a machine! A very pleasant and amiable man too, would not hesitate to recommend Stump buster's to anyone.

Stumpbusters removed a number of very large, old cherry laurel roots for me. I have a lunatic neighbour who had to be 'accomodated', and Stumpbusters could not have been more careful and professional. The operation was a great success thanks to their skill, experience, and careful working. They worked tidily and efficiently.
I cannot recommend them too highly.

Fast efficient service, 20 stumps dealt with quickly in atrocious weather, garden left clean and tidy. Excellent communications and pleasant worker. Would use again and recommend. Only quibble - it was hard to find the correct website to post review - this needs to be easier.

They removed about 10 stumps in around 3 hours. They have a beast of a machine which mashed the stumps to dust and it mixed in well with our light soil. The machine needs a bit of space but I understand they have a smaller one where the access is tight. I would recommend StumpBusters without reservation.

Unfortunately using Stumpbusters recently has been a bad experience. An incompetent man arrived to remove a small tree stump. The machine he tried to get through to my back garden was too large to go through. In the process of trying he caused substantial damage to an old victorian brick wall, the side of my house has three large foot long gouges in the render and my five wires for the satellite attached to the side of my house were ripped apart.I didn't realise what was happening until heard the screech of the machine on the wall. A second man came with a machine about the tenth of the size and sorted it in 45 mins. However StumpBusters are being incredibly slow to respond to the photographic evidence in repairing the damage or alternatively paying for it to be done. As one says when a good job gets done you might tell one person when a poor job gets done you tell ten .

Andrew quoted me a price for the removal of a stump over the phone, with two prices in case it was more difficult than anticipated he turned up at my house in Wakefield did a professional job and charged the lower price when he could have charged more, a very good job for a reasonable price i would not hesitate to recommend West Yorkshire stumpbusters
