We had what turned out from a straightforward stump removal to an extremely awkward removal of half a hazel stump ( neighbour! ) they were extremely patient and sympathetic, and managed somehow to remove half a stump! So managed to keep all parties happy. So extremely pleased with there workmanship and professionalism in what turned into a very difficult job.

The StumpBusters team came to my home recently and removed a tree stump from my front drive that I had been wobbling our wheelie bin over and cursing for years!

They did a great job. Turned up on time, were quick, friendly and tidied up after themselves better than my husband!

I would highly recommend them to anyone with tree stumps that need removing. Just get it done, it makes everything easier - especially when you call such a professional company in.

Contacted Stump Busters North East and arranged for a tree stump to be ground down to below ground level so the pavement could be resurfaced. They arrived on a Saturday morning when I was not there, rang to say the job was done and demanded immediate payment of £400 by BACS. When I saw the job on the Monday morning I was horrified to see the stump still sticking up above the ground and assumed they would be back to finish grinding the stump down to below ground level as agreed. However, having been paid, they refused to take my calls and nothing was done. It turns out that they are a local franchise of a national company called Stump Busters, so I called the head office who assured me it would be sorted. However, four months later, and after numerous calls and e-mails, there is still a foot of stump sticking up. I have now had to arrange to pay another company to do the job properly.

Removed a stump from our next door neighbours front garden and the mulcher sprayed our front windows and door with mulch. No offer to clean windows and doors.

Carried out the work extremely efficiently and thoroughly.
Cleared up carefully after finished.

Paul turned up on time and began his work by cordoning off the surrounding area using portable net barriers to contain the wooden debris and laying down boarding for his machine to run on, his attention to his own P.P.E was also pleasing as was the way he cleaned up the work area afterwards, Excellent service
