Excellent service
I've bought a number of items from StupidEgg and have been so impressed by their service. The plants are excellent quality and ceramic pots are beautiful. They keep me up to date on my deliveries and hand write a note in my last purchase thanking me for placing another order with them. Really personal service. Beware of the Scam!
They tried to remove my previous review, so here it is again:
I’ve bought a Philodendron verrucosum houseplant from this shop. Then after a week they have contacted me to tell me they did not have it in stock and they will not have it for a while. Only I discovered they’re selling the exact same plant in their shop for a higher price. AND they accused me to trying to take advantage of them by buying at the price they set. Disgusting.
And to answer to your comment: I also have the screenshots of the conversation, the plant coming into stock the day I bought and still in stock after. And also that you are acknowledging that this happened then trying to remove my review.

Dear Kinga, As I explained at the time this was to do with a computer stock issue and in no way a scam. You bought the item at a reduced price due to a flash sale. We advised you as soon as possible that the item was not in stock (our last plant was not in a condition to be sent out as we take pride in only sending out high quality products) and refunded you. Our stock system then put the plant back in stock due to the refunded item order (this is automated but we weren’t aware at the time due to the newness of the IT system). The plant was at a higher price as I had altered the price after they sold out back to the original price so that when we had more available they would be at the correct price (this was a temporary price drop so I amended the price at the same time as refunding you which is why I did not see the product go back into stock after the refund). We still did not have any plants available. As soon as you brought it to my attention that the product was back in stock I then took the plant out of stock again. Had anyone attempted to purchase the item it would not have been in stock. It was a new stock logging system so we were working through some teething problems. I have screen shots of the stock logs and price changes to show how this happened (it was all computer based and system led) and that we were in no way misleading you or any other potential customers. The plant was not available, we advised you and refunded you. We did not want to send out an unhealthy plant. The plant was automatically put back in stock by the system when your order was cancelled. We sell a number of items so this was not picked up until you messaged. We have not lied or misled you. This was a system error. I am happy to email you the screen shots of the automated timeline of events so show we have not lied or tried to scam you. The review has not been taken down by us. It has been flagged and temporarily held due to its content. We are so sorry about the confusion but there was nothing else we could do. The plant wasn’t available so we let you know and refunded you. It was human error to not see the product had been put back on stock and I apologise for any distress that caused you but there was never any malice or dishonesty. Best wishes, The Stupid Egg Team.
