My first experience with sub splash was utilizing them for our live stream. The moment I realized that organized our messages, was incredibly user-friendly, and just worked I was hooked. We’ve then... See more

This software is absolutely amazing
This software is absolutely amazing - it truly is specifically built for everything a church could possibly want. The support team is great, and the capability of the app is incredible. This is truly a 10/10 program.
5 Year Client Doubling Down on Subsplash
Our church has been a Subplash App client since 2019, and we recently switched to the whole Subsplash One package to move our website, giving, and other experiences to Subsplash because of how much we have loved the experience.
Switching to Subsplash Giving is saving us money, the customer support side has been excellent, and we're looking forward to working with Subsplash for a long time.
In a 'drag and drop' world....
In a 'drag and drop' world of website design, providers like Squarespace and Wix provide the ultimate in creativity and ease. Subsplash gets a 3 in the day-to-day design options that are more than a bit archaic.
In the church world, for an all-in-one solution with mobile app integration, it gets a 5. Incorporating an intuitive events calendar with ticketing and payments saves a ton of external accounts to handle all of these subtasks and integration worries. The media library is smart, and URL redirects are simple, among things we use every day. Account success managers have been top-notch and do everything they can to make sure your voice and concerns are heard and provide timely feedback and solutions.
Major frustrations are that there is no auto save, command z, extremely limited and bland text options, the use of 'spacers' vs drag/drop, picture sizing and manipulation is awkward at best, and finally the site/tablet/mobile editor is atrocious.
If you're a church, you will learn to deal with the inadequacies and find a medium you can live with in editing that will make it your go-to solution. If you manage other sites on other platforms, as mentioned earlier in this post, you will curse the lack of freedom, the added time to complete tasks, and, at times, the less-than-desired results due to platform capabilities.
Amazing Resource!
Subsplash is an amazing church resource! Easy to use platform that allows us to engage with our church digitally!

We use Subsplash for streaming to…
We use Subsplash for streaming to Youtube and our website, as well as distribution the audio only for our podcast weekly. Further, Subsplash archives our materials using a library format that is easy to manage and understand. Subsplash consistently works without incident and largely without intervention.
My card kept getting declined
My card kept getting declined, so I reached out to the support team, (chat doesn’t work) and told them my problem. They told me to ask the bank. I did and they said that the security code was reading 000 and not the right code. So I not only emailed the support team member back that told me to check my bank, but I also sent another report telling them and asking if they would look into it. No response. I waited 6 days and then sent another report in. Still no response. There is a glitch in their program and it seems they don’t care to fix it or even to respond to me when I tell them exactly what the problem is.
Debit card set up
I have tried multiple times to set up my good debit card that I use everyday, and subsplash declines my card. Something is wrong with your card acceptance app or something. Mainly, there is no customer service to help me. So I’m not impressed with subsplash.

An Answer to Prayer
From Day 1, Subsplash has worked hard to meet our Christian ministry needs. The capability to have a website and App on the same platform, giving and audio devotions has been a blessing to our staff and members. We love that Subsplash is professional, kind, and always growing with new ideas to support ministry. Truly an answer to prayer for OHSOFREE Women Ministries!
Love Subsplash!
Overall, my ministry loves Subsplash and its all-in-one capabilities! The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because there are some functions/capabilities that are still rolling out or things that are not yet available that we are waiting on. Great overall, just small things that would me it perfect! (For ex// I wish we could send photos/videos via SMS communications, not just through emails)
Subsplash is our ministry partner
I've been a Subsplash client for over 6 years now and there hasn't been a single company more essential to our ministry strategy. My favorite thing about Subsplash is twofold, their innovation and their support. Having a name and contact of a success manager that helps us get the most out of our Subsplash has been crucial for us and really separates Subsplash from other companies we've worked with. Not to mention they are constantly rolling out new features and products to us to help us be more effective in ministry. Subsplash has been our favorite tech partner.
Subsplash has excellent customer…
Subsplash has excellent customer service! Our church is small and rural and they walked us through handling the app rollout for our church and supporting us during live-streaming. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Very Happy Subsplash One Customer
Sales before we purchased was helpful and did not oversell. Honest and trustworthy. The system works great! I’m a big fan of consolidating and that’s what Subsplash has done for our church, replacing several different software systems with a single interface. The app & website looks great! Tech support has been very good which is rare! And they take feature requests and recently implemented one that our church really wanted. Thank you Subsplash team!
Subsplash is Simply Outstanding!
Working with Subsplash has been an absolute pleasure! Their platform is incredibly user-friendly, beautifully designed, and packed with powerful features that make managing content seamless and enjoyable. Whether it's building a custom app, live streaming, giving solutions, or media hosting, Subsplash makes everything intuitive and accessible.
One of the things that truly sets them apart is their commitment to constant improvement. They are always implementing updates and expanding their platform to ensure it's the very best it can be. It’s clear they truly listen to their customers, taking feedback seriously and making enhancements that directly benefit ministries, churches, and organizations using their services.
What’s even more impressive is how well Subsplash works with small churches. They understand the challenges of limited budgets and are committed to providing solutions that help churches grow both in person and online. Their flexible and scalable options make it easy for churches of any size to have a professional, engaging digital presence without breaking the bank. It’s clear that their mission goes beyond just offering a service—they truly care about kingdom growth and equipping churches with the tools they need to reach their communities effectively.
Their customer support is phenomenal, and it’s evident that they genuinely care about helping their clients succeed. It’s rare to find a company that blends innovation, ease of use, and top-tier service so well, but Subsplash does it effortlessly.
If you're looking for a trusted, cutting-edge platform that is both powerful and easy to navigate—while also being mindful of budget constraints for smaller ministries—Subsplash is the way to go! Highly recommended!
Beware of the Cancellation Penalty
Subsplash has the unnecessary business practice of forcing you to pay a penalty fee when you cancel the service. Of course they will not tell you that. You have to give them 3 months notice before you cancel. But what if a quick change has to be made and you forgot about that? They will charge you nearly $500 just to stop their services. Not church friendly at all, and it takes resources that can be devoted to discipleship and mission in the congregations to line their pocket. Once you ask them about this, they tell you that they have every right to charge it and they really don't care if you come back or speak negatively of them.
Honestly there are much better services anyway for what you ultimately pay for this primarily sales driven company.
Love it!
I have enjoyed using this product for my church for years. It's made it easy to watch sermons and make donations and stay informed. Thankful for my church for having this.
Unauthorized transactions
In July, I noticed that my recurring gift to my church was processed twice (without my authorization). At that point, I cancelled the recurring gift and removed the payment method.
Now in August, I received an email saying thank you for my recurring gift (indeed it was withdrawn from my checking account).
I checked and see that I do not have any recurring gifts set up, and I have no payment methods on my account. Also, this August withdrawal is not listed in my gift history (the last one was from July).
This is now the second unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account. Obviously my payment information is being retained and used without my permission.
I’m not sure what benefit this platform provides to donors. The customer support is non-existent; I am being redirected to my church.
The platform is great but customer support is non-existent.
The platform itself is fantastic. The customer support is non-existent. It would be faster to code the app from scratch and publish yourself then to rely on them to make updates. Very frustrating...
lower-priced & very lacking
Subsplash is a lower-priced alternative for local churches, but it is so lacking in features as to be nearly unusable.
The positives:
1. It has a wonderful chat function which creates a mini-forum for each group (home group, kitchen team, youth group, etc.) but only on mobile.
2. Sign ups for events, meals, etc. work very well.
3. Sermons can be grouped into series.
The negatives:
1. The website it creates for your church looks awful, but also has almost no functionality. "Media" (where sermon recordings go) demands a password every time you click, so a visit to Media page, then search for a sermon, then listen requires 3 password fill-ins! And the search doesn't work at all. Searches for words in the sermon title come up empty; it's possible the database hasn't been implemented yet.
2. None of those nice chat groups on your website.
3. No calendar of events (or Upcoming Events) on website.
4. Your church's Subsplash website will be a basic Wix-style website with none of your graphics, making Subsplash a non-starter for churches concerned about their "brand" or "identity."
It is certainly our hope that Subsplash is able to fix the many bugs and add the many missing features, as it's much more affordable than competitors, and the chat enables communication between members, something competitors like CCB and Planning Center don't allow.
Don’t recommend
Don’t recommend. I’ve been with this company for over ten years, before when they were snappages. Customer service used to be great, if you needed something done it got done asap. Now it’s pretty much non existent. All you get is I’ll forward your response onto this department or that department. There’s absolutely no follow up. I’ve been waiting for a month to an issue I’ve been having and still nothing. So we’ve decided to go with a different company for our website needs. Anyone who uses this company, good luck to you.
