First time pass with Sue & Simon

I spent three days including test date with sue and Simon. Sue gave me outstanding 121 training with her class 2 rigid. Simon also gave me my mod 4 training.
Training was thorough and sue really knows her stuff. Her patience was amazing, teaching me she needed it. I passed first time with two minors. Will definitely be back in the new year for my class 1.

Tahir this is very unfair . Our Examiners in Swindon are NOT racist , neither are we .
Your ability to drive the truck was never good . You struggled to do the reverse and checking your mirrors . You had a written report highlighting all the weak points of your driving - when you came for your next lesson these faults had not been improved on . You failed your test because you did not stop at the Stop junction - even though this was clearly explained to you on 14/8/20 and 18/8/20.
You failed your Test in August 2020 then have just come back to me in September 2021 and expect me to take you for Test . I have clients booked in for all the Tests I have booked and at the moment I do not have a spare Test
All the Test routes are of equal standard- none are harder than others and the Examiner s do not discriminate between Asians and White people. You failed because you did not come to a stop at the Stop junction - this is a basic fault and anyone on any category of test would fail a test for this and if followed by the Police would be prosecuted- rule 171 under the Road Traffic Act 1988 section 36 - please see Highway Code . There was also vehicles coming and the Examiner had to tell you to stop
This is not racist - it is very bad driving .
I understand you are disappointed I cannot give you a test but these comments will not encourage me to never give you a Test nor will any other training Provider and I intend to pass your comments to DVSA where they may possibly ban you from taking a Test again
DVSA and our company take comments like this very seriously and will not tolerate it
Regards
Sue

Class 2 training

I found Sue complety honest from the start. The training I received was second to none, preparation that was required of me along with Sue's patience and guidance steered me to first time pass for class 2. Honestly can't speak highly enough of training provided in a larger vehicle. Professional set up & a great laugh along the journey.

Money Grabbers

I had numerous lessons with Sue when i was 17. I was told by Sue that i was ready for my test - on the day of my test she accused me of nearly causing an accident and pulled me out of my test - SHOCK. I then moved to another instructor and passed first time on the next available test. They were only after as much money as they could get!

Sue and Simon were absolutely brilliant . Fantastic training and good company (which is necessary when you’re spending half a day in a truck with someone . They got me through both the rigid and artic tests and I’m very grateful for their help .

Professional, patient & great instructors!

Both Sue and Simon are very professional and patient instructors. I was extremely happy with the service they provide. Firstly getting me through my Minibus test along with all the Theory and Mod 4 sections.

With some extra lessons in their own, newly acquired bus, I have today passed my Cat D Licence.
I could not have done any of this without them. I cant recommend them enough. Don't believe the malicious review on here it is absolute nonsense!!

Wonderful driving school

I have just passed my Trailer test with Sue's driving school and I have to say I would not have be able to get through it without them. I had two days instruction with my test on the second day and have no bad things to say about it. I was straight into the driving seat and all the way feedback was constructive and I knew exactly what I needed to do to pass my test.

The vehicle was very easy to drive which made it all more easier. Everyone I dealt with was professional, encouraging, very patient and knowledgeable. I chose Sue over other companies because It felt like a much more personal experience.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to do their trailer test. Thanks again.

Fantastic one to one training

I can only assume the other review for Sues Driving School is a malicious attempt to damage her reputation. The comments are utterly ridiculous.

I have just passed both Class 1 and 2 HGV with Sue in about 8 weeks in total. In that time I had about 7 sessions of instruction. She has three Scania trucks Which were great to drive.

Both Sue and her husband Simon were 100% professional at all times and very patient and knowledgeable. I chose Sue over others because she does one to one training, and as I didn’t want to spend half my time sitting on the bed while someone else drove.

I haven’t taken a driving test since my car in 1982, but the instruction I received gave me such a lot of confidence I passed both tests. I now have an opportunity to work for a large logistics company in Swindon and I can’t thank Sue & Simon enough.

Don't.

For HGV training they get you to drive in your own CAR for a number of lessons (While still paying a large amount to be in an HGV)
all the way through each lesson they scream and curse at you, then by the end of the lesson (You generally pay for six hours and receive less than four) they say you are a fantastic student but should have "A few more lessons."

They repeat that constantly, forcing you to move back your test slot, all the while charging huge amounts.

By the time I took the test I was a nervous wreck.

After speaking to other companies Sue is renowned for this behaviour.

The first meeting with her she stated shes "Not like the other companies, she's here to help, the money doesn't matter"

She drained every penny from me and made me scared to drive.

After switching to another Swindon based HGV school I passed within a week.

I completely regret any contact I had with this company and I'm so sorry to see this happening to other students.

EDIT: I WILL URGE PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS TO SHOP AROUND AND ASK OTHER COMPANYS ABOUT THEIR EXPERIANCE WITH SUE AND HER HUSBAND.

Talk to the other trucking trainers like WTTL. They've seen what Sue does.

In regards to the comment they've posted, I've only posted this review to this site as of yet.

They've put myself and other students in their own cars for lessons repeatedly.
Their manor in teaching was repeatedly agressive and profane.
