So if they request chargebacks why closing my account. They’re scammers. Their online services are poor and their phone number works on the days they want it to. I spoke to a human twice but after that they now put their AI to talk. Thieves. Ruben and the rest of the team and Mary. You all are wicked.
Great app, I haven't experienced any issues and I find everything very useful in my business. Contactless payments on my own mobile and recording of all transactions. Super.

I’ve had a very poor experience with SumUp and, based on what I’ve gone through, I wouldn’t recommend their service. From the beginning, everything felt disorganised and difficult to manage. Communication was inconsistent, and getting any meaningful support took far longer than it should have. The most frustrating part has been my funds being held without a clear or timely explanation. Not having access to your own money is incredibly stressful, especially when you’re unable to get straightforward answers from the company. Customer service has been extremely disappointing responses are slow, unclear, and often unhelpful. At times, it felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously at all. I also question the reliability of some of the positive reviews, as my experience has been completely different. I was even encouraged to leave a positive review despite the issues I was facing, which only added to my frustration. Overall, this has been a very negative experience that has left me with no confidence in the service. I will not be using SumUp again.

Spent more than an hour discussing a simple issue and still not resolved yet. This whole automation thing is going to close these companies down.
I’ve had a very frustrating and distressing experience with SumUp. They are currently holding my funds without any clear explanation, which is completely unacceptable. Not having access to your own money is bad enough, but the total lack of transparency makes it even worse.
This situation has had a serious impact on my life. I have bills to pay and my mortgage is now at risk of going into arrears. I am currently out of work and have already used all my savings to try and keep up with expenses. The only money I had left came from selling my car, which I processed through SumUp so I could pay my bills but now I cannot access it. As a result, all my bills are going unpaid, and I have a family to look after that I am currently unable to support.
The stress caused by this situation has been overwhelming, and I have even developed high blood pressure as a result.
I have provided all the documents they requested, yet I have received no meaningful information or updates from them. Trying to get answers from customer service has been a nightmare responses are slow, vague, or non-existent.
Overall, this has been an extremely negative and stressful experience. I’ve lost all trust in SumUp and would strongly advise others to be very cautious before using their service.

My experience with SumUp has been extremely disappointing. The customer service is shocking slow, unhelpful, and unable to resolve even basic issues. Communication is poor, and getting a clear or timely response feels almost impossible. What made things worse was having my money held without a proper explanation. It caused unnecessary stress and frustration, and no one seemed willing to take responsibility or fix the situation. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. One star is far too generous if it were possible, I wouldn’t give them any stars at all. I regret signing up and would strongly advise others to avoid this service. I am now escalating this issue further.
