You won’t actually get this sofa
Oh my goodness. Just don’t order. Don’t bother. It’s madness.
Ordered early July. I chatted with their team a few times, two specifically were after July 20. I was getting concerned I wouldn’t receive the sofa in time because it was approaching the end of the window. If you’ve had large furniture delivery from other companies- you usually get a call saying they have the item to delivery and normally don’t have a day at least a week out, so no call for delivery yet and end of window - not good sign.
Each time the agents just said yes on the way. I finally called the local delivery compny, ryder, on July 29, in which they informed me the sofa has been missing for 9 days at that time, since July 20. I called Sundays and they had no idea. They said they’ll research (but not send replacement until research is done). A day later and they’re still researching. I pushed them and they said they’ll start a replacement order. A day later, I get a call from Ryder to delivery the sofa!! They come the NEXT DAY!! Half the sofa is one model and the other half is the right model. The delivery people couldn’t take the wrong pieces back. I call Sundays while they’re here. Sundays tells me they will send replacement prices in priority for delivery between aug 12-27.
It’s been 9 days, today is august 12, I check in and guess what? “Expect the sofa to arrive between august 12-27” (sounds familiar to what the original chat folks said?!) so do I just trust that? I can’t, that would be insanity right? I push for more detail. I’m told it’s still in NJ (2 states away, and that is where the sofa pieces were originally , 9 days ago. So no movement? 9 days, disaster of an order and they’re still in NJ, and the person emailing actually has the mindset to write todays date in the delivery window.
This company MIGHT make good sodas. But you won’t get them. And if you do- you’re either lucky, or it will be wrong.
The service people are trained to be super nice. But they aren’t in communication with their delivery teams. They literally have no grasp on delivery process or tracking. It’s terrible. Terribly run company.
I just got off the phone and they said the sofa will leave Monday.
I guess I’ll call everyday and update here.
