Supaphoto have been so helpful and I am delighted with the results. They have digitalised some very old super8 cine film for me. Some parts of the film were very dark and virtually impossible to see. I can now see it clearly!
Can't recommend Supaphoto highly enough.

I engaged the services of Supaphoto to try and save a family video tape that that had been packed away for years and thought was safe. Sadly even though it was in a sturdy case when opened the black tape was almost purely white with mould (see photo). I honestly thought it was wiped out and gone forever. But I was talked through the process and how it would have to have the moisture removed and cleaned and how taking time to do it would make it easier to salvage.

Cut to my surprise today to hear (much earlier than expected) that it was not gone forever but that it had been cleaned, visuals made better and that I would be getting back footage of my family that was thought lost forever.

I highly recommend turning to Supaphoto to salvage your old media affected by moisture and mould as well as transferring the media so you can have your precious memories given new life to enjoy forever.

If I could give ten stars I would. Bereavement is never easy and being overseas when a loved one dies makes it harder. When a neighbor spied some old reels in a closet and sent me the pictures, I knew I had to find out what was on those reels. At nearly 100 years old and taken by my grandfather, who was an avid photographer and early adopter of cinematography, I sought out a digitizaion service. Unlike other services who refuse to deal with customers who are not in the UK, Supaphoto didn't hesitate to help. Not only that, Philip and I chatted about the reels on WhatsApp. Every so often you talk to a complete stranger and wish you could meet in person and that describes Philip. I cannot say how thrilled I was with the result. Not only that, after all was said and done and paid for, Philip noticed that two of the reels needed a small tweak and sent me updated versions. Absolutely would recommend!

I was too harsh. The staff did a very good job in recovering an audio tape from 1989. The service was helpful and prompt. I am happy with the result.

An amazing service from start to finish. Philip was warm and personable when I popped round with the 3 items I needed help with. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does. We had a lovely chat and he was genuinely interested in what things I’d bought along. So so thankful I found Supaphoto. I had 3 old mouldy VHS tapes and didn’t think it was possible to retrieve any footage but after speaking to admin team they said there is a high chance they would be able to retrieve the footage! I was thrilled as my mum is in late stages of Alzheimer’s disease 10 yrs + and I can’t remember her without the disease!! Weird I know! Anyway Supaphoto are super stars!! They did it!! What a proffesional service from start to finish. I had old slides transferred to USB and couldn't be happier. They were beyond helpful and kept me informed all through the process. I will be using Supaphoto again and recommend them whole heartily.

It’s not often one finds a company like Supaphoto with such a great team. The service provided was genuinely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. It was a no-brainer to entrust Supaphoto with digitising 9.5mm cine reels of the early 1930’s from a family estate. For sure, Supaphoto will be my first port of call in future, as and when I need further digital conversions of old media formats. My grateful thanks!

Beyond expectations and further still ….
I had two old reel to reel tape recordings made in the 1960’s/70’s of messages from relatives in Australia and New Zealand- these tapes would go across the world and replies from the UK sent in return using same tapes .
Both reels had been recorded on both sides but each recording was set at a different speed creating a highly complex transcribing process…
My belief is that the original estimate for this work was woefully short of how much time it took to complete this project but despite asking for an updated price , this was politely and charmingly refused - how many businesses in this day and age would do that?????? Don’t hesitate- get in touch with Phillip and get those old forgotten memories back- outstanding service

Supaphoto we're excellent at explaining what they could do with my VHS and communicating about how to get it organised. They restored a mouldy tape and were transparent about the process from the beginning - they were a friendly and family run business that I would definitely use again.
