I purchased a Superbox S6 Plus from an eBay reseller. It stopped workign with "Forbidden Devices" use-stopping error, with no support or recourse to fix.

I purchased a Superbox S6 Plus from an eBay reseller. Spent $400 with tax and shipping. Installed and it operated for 3.5 months. Then suddenly for no reason got the "Forbidden Devices" message. Contacted the reseller and he said it was New, no opened and you have used it for 3.5 months. Can't fix any Forbidden Device message. Contacted Superbox Support, and they say they can't fix it, the reseller has control over this and I have to contact them. Went back to the reseller and he said he had contacted eBay and they told him these units were originally sold to Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. and were returns or unsold inventory. I assume eBay bought them from these resellers, then got their eBay shops to hock it, with no responsibility for supporting their customers when and if the units stop working, suddenly for no reason. So, there is no reseller to go back to that will support you when your unit goes dead with no one to speak to and no recourse. You are just basically screwed! ByeBye unit you spent $400 for and got 14 weeks of use, then nada. Don't buy Superbox, Yours might stop working at 1 week, then FU Sucker! Buyer Beware!

Terrible customer service

I spent $330 on a super box7. I decided after trying it I would return it. I requested a return shipping label, days past before I notified them again requesting a shipping label a second time. Instead of sending a shipping label they sent me an email asking what they could do to resolve the situation. I responded to the point blank. I am not interested in keeping the super box, I would like a return shipping label ASAP. They responded again not by sending me a return shipping label but by asking me.” what is the issue?”. I responded to that email by saying since you’re pushing the issue, The package was three days late and I can get the same thing on a fire stick for 34.99. It has been over a week and I have requested a shipping label four times this morning. I received a response telling me that the super box gets over 1000 channels, still no shipping level! I will never buy this product again!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Warning

⭐☆☆☆☆ Warning: Disappointing Experience — No Support and Possibly a Scam

I ordered a Superbox in August 2025 as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. At first, it seemed like a great purchase — after a very difficult setup (with no clear instructions or helpful support from Superbox), we finally got it working thanks to hours of research and YouTube videos. Once it was running, we actually loved it for about three months.

Then suddenly, we started getting a “forbidden error” and couldn’t use it at all. Unfortunately, there’s still no real support available. The company provides only email addresses that bounce you back to “contact the seller,” and WhatsApp numbers that don’t work.

At this point, I’m beginning to think this company is a scam or at least completely unreliable. I’m writing this to warn others — save your money and frustration. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Save your money scam company

Save your money! The superbox I received would not play live tv as advertised . The customer “ service “ number is never answered. I left messages that were not returned. I sent multiple emails asking for the return address which was never supplied. It was a nightmare. After I returned it to the address on the label and disputing it with PayPal and my credit card company my money was refunded . This is a scam. Horrible experience.

I bought 2 super boxes last December…

I bought 2 super boxes last December 2024, from the beginning they worked ok not great. I bought them from Amazon. Amazon's policy is you have to go through them for any correspondence with the vendor which made in possible to get any tech support. Since then 6 months later both boxes are a rip-off drop shows all the time no TV guide half the time. I got screwed so I want to let everyone know save your money.TOTAL JUNK!!!

24-hr (and counting) service outage without communication from support

No information is being provided to customers whose service has now been out for almost 24 hours. Not even sure if technical issue with their app is being worked on; all I get told is that “the tech is aware of the issue and it’s being worked on.” Been waiting for ANY info about the problem/fix for several hours without even the courtesy of an update. Would advise against purchasing since tech support is ONLY available via chat, and is spotty at best. No phone number (according to chat person) to contact company.
