Dodgy Co-founder & Manager & Business
Had a good rapport at first with the staff including the Loughbrough Junction taproom manager, but he kept on asking me where I live, I never told him, and remained vague. He often stood outside to smoke where he can clearly see when I enter a certain road.
One night after 11pm on a quite Friday, I left and he prepared his tricycle which he usually used during the daytime and early evening to get stock back and forth to the other branch in Brixton. But as I left, said googbye as usual, he prepared the company tricycle and left as well. But this time he went the other way where there is no business he normally does, especially not after 11pm at night.
I kept walking another direction to throw him off, then returned to my usual road which can be seen from Supercute entrance. He suddenly appeared, driving by me again towards Supercute. I figured that he tried to find out where I lived, as after him asking a few times, I did not share.
I had video camera on and have him on film. After speaking to friends for advise, I passed this on to Supercute email including the blonde female co-founder. I explained that I was concerned with him just driving the other direction as normal and after 11pm where there is no business (taproom) in that area, and driving in the direction I usually walk.
But minutes after I emailed them, the manager suddenly emailed me being upset that I felt he was following me / trying to find out where I lived. I was shocked, because Supercute incl. the female co-founder passed my email on to the manager, which is a serious data breach as I was concerned about him following me.
I said already in the email that I will not go there anymore. Apart from that, they have serious hygiene issues and are now selling food. All around in how they deal with concerns of safety, this is not a business where safety concerns of customers and food hygiene is taken serious.
