I have to agree that the germination rates are not up to par with these seeds. Typically inconsistent. I have watched the catalog grow and I wonder if the size of the business is now impacting quality. I used to order more from this company but found those issues problematic. I wonder if they are saving seed (for 1-3 yrs.) and selling that in the current year which could account for these issues. Also, they may be sourcing some of their seed from growers who do this and be unaware of it. I really love that one can order raw ingredients for body care and make more healthy products to use. In my mind, that would be a prime reason to order from this company. Might be useful to know how/where they source the seed they sell. Please note that these reviews also mine your data, including email lists and friends. Another problem, in my mind. If this review software or service is offered free to companies, then they are getting your data in return.

Placed my first order friday and emailed to check on status and they said it takes 4-5 business days to ship an order? I only ordered a few packs of seeds, that seems like a long time to me to ship.

Great service! My order was in multiple shipments so I did have to e-mail to check on my order and I received prompt and attentive service. All plants healthy and did very well.

I have ordered seeds, books and other products from Pinetree Garden Seeds for many years. They have always stood behind their products. I love the seed packet sizes for the home gardener and the price! Their seeds are well suited for NH gardens. Customer service is great when needed. Delivery is prompt and shipping fees are extremely reasonable. I cannot think of one thing I don't like. Try them...they won't disappoint.

They are great about replacing seeds that don't grow, which isn't often.

Many of the seed didn't germinate. Or they germinated inside, they died when I transplanted them. Only one, a radicchio, grew, but it didn't head.

Your catalogue doesn't give nearly the adequate directions that the Territorial catalogue does. It's hard to know how to grow your seeds.

You told me one of my credit cards didn't pay for my purchase. I used a different card and it worked. There was nothing wrong with the original card.

i have always gotten great products and seeds prom pinetree at incredibly reasonable prices.

Great variety of seeds and a nice price point. Sometimes I get a mixture of other seed in vegetable seed packets. Occasionally a packet of seed is too old and does not sprout at all.

Good seeds that do well in my area. The smaller packet size means not buying seeds that will get old and loose germination rate.

I have been buying seeds from Pinetree for a few years now. I have never had a problem. I like how they have experience with the vegetable seeds they sell, & tell about that experience. I really like the affordable prices ! I like the assortment of natural, DIY skincare items they sell. To me, Pinetree feels like a friend.
