New Car GAP Insurance
Not easy to understand when buying GAP insurance for a new car. All I knew was that I had to have a ‘Return to Invoice’ policy. This is the 2nd one I have purchased but this time for a brand new car.
Must read the T&C’s before signing as my last one I lost out on after cancelling a 4 year cover after 14 months and only got £10 because of a massive commission to the service provider, non refundable…… This one was much clearer. 4 stars for now just in case.

Firstly, let me start by clarifying that Platinum Gap is in no way a “scam”. Across our insurance group we have written well in excess of 100,000 policies for UK customers across over 10 years of trading.
To respect your personal information, I will refrain from going in to many details however with regards to your policies I can see that one of our senior agents contacted you due to duplicate policies containing discrepancies which ultimately led to your policies being cancelled and a full refund being issued within 24 hours.

GAP insurance was very easy to set up, whilst being competitive and clear cover. Rating may well change depending on any claims experience, which is the true measure of any insurance of course!

Transfer of Cover for newly purchased car
