Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 87 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently mention charges appearing on their bank statements for recurring subscriptions they did not recall authorizing or agreeing to during online loan searches. Many consumers note that cancellation attempts are extremely difficult, as emails are routinely ignored and websites fail to provide functional login credentials or working cancellation tools. Individuals express concerns about terms that lead to automatic enrollment into monthly fees without clear prior notification. Some reviewers were happy with receiving prompt assistance, refunds, or confirmation of successful cancellations when they finally managed to speak directly with customer service representatives.

COMPLETE SCAM!!

COMPLETE SCAM!!! You think you are applying for a loan, but it's in fact some worthless debt/credit advice service that charges you £19.99 a month.

When you cancel it conveniently doesn't send an email to confirm it's been done.

Even though I cancelled it charged me again. Not that I even signed for it in the first place

Trying to contact them is just a bunch of AI generated responses like what I expect to respond to this...

*SCAM ALERT* AVOID, AVOID,AVOID.

Cancelled my account in December as I personally found the help didn't justify the cost, only for them to continue taking the payment the following month. Have requested refund but not holding my breath as they haven't even responded to my complaint almost 1 week later. Will be taking it further.
Updated: I finally received a reply from their "customer service" via Email 9 days later and surprise, surprise, it is just automated cr*p that has no relevance to my complaint at all, (pretty much the same automated response you see them replying to this review with). Even after pointing out AGAIN,that my complaint was about them taking further payments AFTER I cancelled the service, they replied with a "how to cancel" Email.
This is either a scam company, or a company with useless customer service that just sends automated replies to complaints in the hope they just go away. Either way, welcome to being reported to the relevant authorities for illegally taking money a month after cancellation.

Hi Mike, we're sorry to read your review.

We replied to you within 1 day. Our service terms, including the 14-day free trial and the subsequent £19.99 monthly fee, are clearly communicated during the sign-up process. If you sign up for our service, we will, of course, bill you after the free trial ends. You can cancel your membership at any time during the trial without any fees. Due to not cancelling within the 14-day free trial, this resulted in charges.

We even offer a money-back guarantee: if you follow the action plan and are unsuccessful in improving your score, we’ll refund you in full (see details at surecredit.co.uk/guarantee). This charge indicates you signed up for a 14-day free trial on our website and provided your payment details. Everything was very clear within the sign-up process, and you confirmed acceptance of our terms and conditions, including the monthly fee of £19.99 after the trial period.

Additionally, when entering your card details to set up the trial, you also completed a "3-D secure" verification with your bank, usually via your online banking app or SMS. This additional security confirms your identity as the cardholder and requires you to authorise the payment with your bank, ensuring that no payments are processed without your explicit consent. This also highlights to our customers that the service is a paid-for service.

You can cancel your membership at any time during the trial without any fees.

Rude, unreliable

I have already cancelled a week ago my membership more times online and through phone, what they created secretly without my permission. On 17 November they used my bank account and charged me as a member again £19.99. On name Emma sent me an email today like as I am a member to help me secure a loan today. I don't want anything with them even not after cancellation. Parallel with Emma's email they charged me for £19.99. This is not a refund this is what they took from my bank account. I called customer service twice, spoke with two rude male staff to ask a refund. I told them send an email as proof you will refund my money. They said: No! And stopped to speak. So these two rude boy staff/agent said I wait for the refund while they charge for money and use my bank account without my permission? I am not a member but they force me to stay a member through my bank account. It means they will take money £19.99 forever?! Sure credit means they will sure use your bank account without your permission. They can't give you anything. In this way this is a phishing website.

Actual scam

Actual scam. Canceled literally the same day so I wouldn't get charged and yet they still took payments from my account which is now being disputed by the bank.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS

Update to your so called reply. You should really do your due diligence to check your systems. I did cancel the same exact day the free trial was taken out so you knew not to take any payments yet you did. Your customer service is a bag of balls with none of you able to give a straight answer and it looks like im not the only one
